LOL, I’m hoping my POTA 20 gets here soon so I can try it with those. I wish the spike was a little longer and stronger, especially with some of the ground up here, but they do the trick, specially when I’m leaning a mast in a tree or using the rubber wire to secure it to a post.
@@MikeN2MAK They just got a shipment of 250 in and they'll start shipping on Monday. Hopefully you ordered early enough to be part of the first shipment. 500 more should be here soon too.
Fantastic kit, Mike! Well thought out and organized. Within 24 hours I've seen both you and Michael KB9VBR show the Domke wraps. Have one in my Amazon cart now!
Thanks! I always look for things that have other applications. When I purchased a Clam pop-up earlier this year, I told my wife we could use it for sports games, LOL.
I think you have just about everything covered. The only think you might not need is some note paper or POTA logging forms in case your laptop battery dies great video!
Thanks! I do have a pen and notebook in the small pocket of the pack that is on the backside. But when i reorganize the bag, I want to move it to make it more accessible. While I usually log digitally, sometimes it's just handy to have a pen and paper nearby.
Nice kit man! My 705 lives in that Maxpedition bag which fits great in my Osprey backpack. I still have lots of work to do getting my setup lighter and faster so thanks for the ideas! 🤘
If you are flying with it remember to put all your sharp objects in one location so you can put them in checked luggage. Otherwise TSA may get some new mult-i-tools and knives. 73
You just cost me $20 for a pair of those fishing rod holders!

@@hamradiotube Thanks!! I ordered early. Hopefully early enough, LOL.
@@MikeN2MAK I got a notice from Gigaparts the other day saying mine will be shipping soon. Hopefully I get it in time for my Huntsville roadtrip.
@@Scout75PortableRadio Awesome!
Mike great video ! Love your bag ! Seems everyone does theirs a little differently and I like them all. Keep up the great work !
Thanks! Everyone has their unique needs and interests. But this bag holds a lot, can be customized and has held up to my regular use.

Very nicely organized and well thought-out setup, Mike! Thanks for the practical tips. Dan N2DTO
Glad it was helpful! I even got some ideas to improve it.
Great video…..like the donkey wrap. Good idea and good for many applications

Thanks for checking it out! Taking everything out was helpful. It’s given me some ideas on how I can lighten the load and improve it.
@@MikeN2MAK You’re welcome dude. That bag you’re using could make a more organized replacement for my “crate of stuff” 🤔

You bet! I'm a knife guy and I know that too well. I always feel naked when I fly, LOL. Thanks for watching!
Mike I’m not a mod
Done. Thanks for tuning in!
