Warframe players just say "Play Warframe" and leave it at that because the community is anti-spoiler and pro watching new players lose their shit when they complete a major quest or unlock a new layer of gameplay. Warframe is best when you go in blind and solo as much as possible
it's best when you go in blind with a veteran buddy that respects the no-spoiler policy* having a KWTD player is great for all the tedious "i have no idea how this system works" stuff (mostly modding), while said player will generally also not tell you ANYTHING spoiler-y it's been 10 years or so, and people STILL keep the operator a secret.
@thatoneguy2274 this is why I absolutely love the warframe playerbase. Completely refuse to give information on crazy reveals so a new player gets completely blindsided. "play warframe" "why?" "it's great, I'm addicted" "why?" "you'll see" 3 days later "DUDE WTF THIS IS SICK"

In warframe i was given mods, guidence, and power by the players and clans. In destiny I was told to uninstall becaused i asked how to properly call out crota for the raid. Im sick of hearing things like "Go study and watch a video then come back." I prefer "Heres a link to my build, I have some spare mods you can use. We can also grab you forma to fit it all. No, ill just buy it for you check ur mailbox."
"Check your mailbox" is so valid. Im almost 27 MR, playing from CBT, have enough plat to not think about farming primes, boring mods etc., but even for me clanmates sometimes do this and gift something, and i try to do it often too. Warframe community is unbeatable
The one thing I wont forget is randomly matching with someone doing kuva farms, and we hung out all night just farming and doing all sorts of stuff, in the end he gave me some farming tips, and 5 unopened rivens, and went on his way.

I realize that Aztecross probably doesn't read these, but the thing that was killing him when he was playing Nyx was the pulse mines on the ground. I barely notice them any more because all the weapons I use kill them before they become a problem, but you need to focus the flying Osprey drones.
those pulse mines are killer for newer players, I always destroy them out of spite for how much trouble they gave me when I was new; even if I am in a level 12 mission or something and they basically do no damage to me anymore.

Cross, you can also build an entire Crew with hired help from an NPC over at Fortuna. Each crew member can be assigned different roles, from piloting to gunner and engineer (Kinda' like combat medic for the ship). And later on, there are two frames called Lavos and Hildryn, that make the space combat part of Railjack way more tolerable until you get good parts for the ship.
@@Essentially_Empy THEY DON'T. It's a community misconception because a lot of the players watching Cross over 6 years behind with their knowledge. People think the two frames help since they don't use energy (Lavos uses cooldowns and Hildryn spends her shields). The problem is that the relative ability cost for these frames is also much higher than the equivalent in energy, meaning that they cast abilities way slower. The cheap casting cost of Lavos and Hildryn have long been nerfed/fixed on Railjack, so it's no longer relevant knowledge.
Warframe players do not spoil the story for other players. Especially the second dream. It is a rite of passage for all tenno. When a warframe player tells you to trust them, trust them. You ain't seen nothing yet cross.
Don't trust every Warframe player. There's a guy in my Alliance with thousands more hours than me who gets stuff wrong all the time and doesn't back down even when he gets fact checked. "+Slash mods increase bleed damage" and "Taking more damage makes the Survival life supports spawn faster" type stuff.
@@Joe90h oh no, more hours as in anything less than 500 hours, they can get stuff wrong. Like you can technically build a weapon that has majority slash damage, and make it viable with no elements and it can shred

It’s like what the Larian guy said at the game awards. When you respect the player and prioritize making a game enjoyable rather than just being profit-driven, they’re a lot more forgiving when you mess up.
Railjack is probably the most underrated part of Warframe. It started out pretty rusty and people bounced off, but its really gotten better since then. I enjoy it alot, and hope it gets more love
I still wish DE went back and did updates or heck a mini rework to Railjacks to make it worth more than farming the keys, really great idea of a system that was left behind in favor of other content
I remember when Railjacks first came out. And every piece costing 1 MILLION credits. Like what were they thinking and it was mid af too at launch. It’s way better now but you know…scars from launch are still there.
I think at that time if it was cheaper people would have ran through it way too fast. But as these features get older they can ease down on the costs cause there is more content to get to.
Railjack was meant to be for the mid-game, where at the worst you get 200k per 5 minutes from Profit Taker It was so cool that they ended up just giving everyone a Railjack and making it new-player friendly
tbh i think the reason games like destiny sometimes get shit on so much is because theres several games out there like warframe for example that add so much into the game while having the game experience be entirely f2p but destiny somehow cant do even half of what other games have despite asking to pay for everything

I like how even Starfield caught strays. Understandably. Warframe has this kind of missions and it's just part of a bigger game. Empyrean might have had a rough start but I've always loved the idea of it. I honestly wish there was more of it. Or if it was more integrated into the main loop. Like, thinking about how you can chain one RJ mission after another, imagine if you can chain it with normal missions too. And you drop in via RJ instead of your LC. Either way, I'm always excited to see new players' reaction to Empyrean gameplay.
And so we continue the journey of Atzecross descending further down the rabbit hole that is Warframe. Honestly can't wait for him to reach the New War and Hex: 1999 quests. Man's in for a wild ride.
don't listen to those people. the people who say 2/10 are the ones who play against lvl 80 enemies with no upgraded railjacks, I had massive brain aneurism multiple times with these. I had one just today too. they talk shit with their 1.2k hp railjack while I have 8k hp with me. upgrade your ship once in a while, keep a balance on upgrading it and saving resources so you don't end up broke. tho you won't most likely since the resources you use for normal stuff and railjack are different
Frankly it's this way with too many systems in Warframe. They have cool ideas, release them janky as heck, tweak them so that they're not the miserable grind they were at release, then abandon them to work on the next thing.
@@leadpaintchips9461True, DE have a mind set of "Never look back" and there's a bunch of old shit in the game that needs attention. Like the New Player experience for example. DE can make shit like New War and Whispers in the Walls but can't do a fucking tutorial, I don't get.
Don’t worry if you default to certain frames to start off with. Nyx takes a lot to build her right, and since melees are really good early on and guns not so much, it makes sense to go with either a tank or a melee frame for a while.
Oh I tell EVERYONE that Warframe has this. Sadly, Destiny players fill my replies saying they don't want it, they don't care about it, "FPS/looters don't need it," and then the Bungie defense comes in, "they can't do it," "it's too much work," "the engine would be too strained," etc. Same with personal housing, base/clan hall building, other vehicles, systems, etc. It's always the same deflections, unfortunately.
And those games have install sizes in the hundreds of GB. Warframe does all of this, in spades, with the smoothest gameplay possible, in a file size of around 40gb or so. It's not that it's not possible, people have been trained to think that AAA games just won't have anything good without having to compromise the game or make the install base ridiculous to compensate for poor optimization. Warframe has over 750 pieces of gear that can be leveled up, 256 individual mission nodes, 3 huge open world sections with their own missions, and several hub locations to utilize with 4 home bases to decorate and utilize when you want. It just takes passion and dedication to get it to work as well as Digital Extremes can do it. The biggest issue with modern games is publishers don't want to wait for perfection. The want instant result. DE self published this beast and it's paying off big time for them. There's a reason I still play the game after 11 years when Destiny was dropped from my radar year ago, and CoD isn't even on my scope anymore.
@@gwarriorfromhell Absolutely, 100% right. Cross said this in a couple videos about Warframe now, the fact that so many companies push this narrative that these things aren't possible. Warframe's existence as it is in 2025 proves that narrative wrong, in fact, most of the claims Bungie makes about their own game have been debunked by DE in Warframe, and even if Bungie is being honest about how well their own engine works...that's a sign then that the engine they're working on isn't adequate and they need to build into a new one. The biggest nail in the coffin for my love of Destiny was the content vault, and not just the content vault...the way they said "this content will come back," but they took out Titan, which was my favorite location...then brought it back as PAID seasonal content for Season of the Deep, then removed it AGAIN. Had they considered, say...grandfathering people who paid for the first year or two of content into future expansions and/or seasons because they were "early adopters," I might've considered sticking with it. But when Warframe continues ADDING...and doing what Bungie says they want Destiny to be... I'll just stick with Warframe.

@SewerDwellingCreature oh! Yeah I may have seen that but forgot. Bro also probably forgot too, so he’ll probably have a welcome surprise when he gets ember. Here’s to hoping he farms ember before he makes that warframe review video. Ember needs a whole segment all for herself 😂
Railjack only got major due to Scarlet Spear(imo)where there were teams of 2: Ground and Space Crews. Ground crew would kill sentients and launch codes up to the space crew who pilot Railjacks into Veils and basically nuke tf out of them. It was one of the most fun uses of Railjack. Only that it was buggy from the start to the end
I knew he was going to love the railjack missions. And I agree about Starfield, especially since Warframe has had space battles for a while now and could have served as a blueprint for Bethesda
So glad you like Wukong! Been maining him for years. Nyx is actually unkillable when you get the Assimilate augment for her ult, but then she also gets slowed down a lot. Wukong is one of the best frames if you want to survive AND move at turbospeed. And of course his passive lets you mess up a few times and keep going, so he's perfect for newer players. Fantastic drip on him, too! Railjack is super-fun, shame it doesn't get more love.
Wish more people liked railjack and aechwing 😢 they really dont appreciate what they have, DE could sunset this like the Red War and no one would bat an eye
They need to do more with those systems, and make it so that they're alternative paths for others. Biggest problem with all the systems in Warframe is that they're all content islands. If you want railjack stuff you do railjack stuff and _only_ railjack stuff.

@@darkmugetsu6572 I've always played solo and never ran into these issues, but they sound like they would make sense. I get why these would be annoying to play around. The Away Crew objectives aren't bad for me since the door is usually pretty close, the tile set is the same every time, and setting a crew member to Pilot tells their AI to go shoot the objective. Only seems to work 65% of the time though. The cannon is less than a second away from the pilot seat so I've never had a problem. I tried public once and the squad ignored the objective and wasted the cannon on shielded crew ships, so solo is way faster for me since I don't have to deal with pub players flying my ship to nowhere while I solo an away crew objective.
btw duviri is fine to do early, gives you really nice options early on. people worry about some things being spoilers but its SO out of context that i have never ever seen a single person by spoiled by it becouse you only put pieces together afterwards.
They actually moved it from the beginning beginning to Uranus. Technically "early" as in before New War, but...I think it's still better than New War. Better contextually than the very beginning, certainly, if done at least after Second Dream.
People also act as if you need to play the quest in its release order to avoid being confused, not realising that confusion is going to happen before both quests are completed no matter what order you do them in. I've seen streamers play the Duviri Paradox after the New War and get confused because the former is a prequel (sort of) to the latter but the game doesn't actually make that apparent. My view is that you can tackle the two quests in whatever order you like, as long as you do them close together so the connections are easier to spot.
Yeah I just recently got into warframe. I'm mr7, did the Duviri Paradox the other night at mr5 and I had NO CLUE what was going on. Still don't know what happened actually 😂

You can hire NPC crewman for your Railjack via a vendor in Fortuna. Then assign them roles (Gunner, Pilot, Security, Repairs) and they are fantastic. Ive genuinely never had a single problem with them, and you can give them Weapons from your own arsenal so they can one shot most enemies that board. They can also just straight up complete quests for you so be careful what you assign them to do.
(16:00) Cross if you think going through the Stars in Warframe was crazy then you should have joined sooner when we basically had a community raid on both ground and space itself
Aw man, Operation Scarlet Spear was genuinely so fun. I wish they kept that aspect of the ground + space team working in conjunction with each other but I guess it was too much of a technical nightmare.
I see Aztecross has discovered Railjack and some of the benefits involved. Regarding Railjack, I would suggest getting your Railjack mostly upgraded to make other content easier to deal with (I will not say which ones, though). You'll be glad you did later on. Other suggestions for Aztecross: Get the Nautilus sentinel as well as it comes with Auto-Omni, which is very convenient for making repairs in-mission. Also, get VERY familiar with the intrinsic system and acquire those upgrades asap. Especially Elite crewmates. As for Duviri, don't do that mission for now until you've progressed in the main storyline later on since you're a new WF player. It will make a WHOLE lot more sense down the road.
🎯Never got the award for best on going game because of business politics. They don’t Warframe to set a new industry standard especially with how fair DE is. So they choose not to recognize it for the industries “benefit”.
I’m fairly new to warframe, started back in September and when I found out about the railjack stuff I was so hyped lol to then find out no one really does it, personally I actually really like it
There are certain railjack turrets that when piloted by NPC's are capable of auto completing every mission in the game with ease, Do not Neglect your crew and you'll do perfectly fine. As a side note there's a warframe named Lavos that doesn't use energy but cooldowns and that carries over into railjack giving your abilities you slot into your ship 0 cost but just a small cooldown when flying it yourself.
It's really sad that so many Warframe players will talk badly about certain features, while newbies are falling in love with them. Railjack is one, for sure. I've seen newbies hear there's a pilotable spacecraft, and all the vets in chat cringe and go "ugh, Railjack sucks, get it built and never touch it again." Meanwhile, the newbies get their ship built, they fly some missions and are making the actual react face from thumbnails I never actually see content creators make. I just don't get why those players do that.
Only got to play railjack last year due to a long break a bit after Prelude to War, and honestly? I adore it, playing with friends is much better when we can roleplay as pirates
@@RedShadowOfSaturn I think us vets are just very salty about the development struggles from this patch. DE way overpromised with this update so what we got was very underdelivered from what was shown in the dev-streams. There were plans for this to seemlessly go into open-worlds like No Mans Sky, have two squads do seperate objectives, and more. This was the old devs, and they had a habit of doing that. Very ambitious, and definitely built the game to what it is, but they kept on doing what just wasn't possible for a nearly 7 year old engine at the time. The community got very angry when updates were unplayably broken again and again at that time. What's here now is definitely really cool though, and it's drastically improved from launch. There's enough in this game to figure out the niches that you enjoy, and there's absolutely no fault in liking Conclave, Profit-Taker, Eidolon Hunting, Railjack, Sharkwing or Archwing, with really infinite possibilities for build diversity in those situations.
@@Beefercow I mean, that's fair as well. When I saw Railjack originally proposed at Tennocon, then advanced forward in scope the following year, I watched and rewatched the reveals every day because of how excited I was, and despite still seeing the vision, I was also quite disappointed by both the original launch state (which was abysmal, no dancing around that, I never have) and how much it offers right now. I will say, though, as you implied...the old guard (as much as I love Steve and his vision), they did do a lot of ambitious over-promising, and I think the new guard headed up by Rebecca and Pablo, are a lot more likely to say to us "such and such is off the table and impossible" vs "yeah maybe we can." The most Rebecca said during, I think at the PAX devstream, maybe...someone asked about Squad Link, and she said it's basically off the table BUT they are doing some internal testing to find a way to implement it, nothing to show or promise. Even so, I do hope that since most of their big ticket items have shipped, between major expansions, they can find time to add more to Railjack, more Proximas, more factions, more ship types to fight, more on-foot missions to mix in like Rescue or Disruption, better flow between the ship and on-foot so it's more balanced. I think the current team is better at managing those things per player feedback than the old team was.
I see lots of people dont know this because it spoiler territory and tenno tend to not spoil warframe but, the operator does the iron man beam until you go to the secret quill cave on cedus on earth. Theres a small cave only the operator can access where a man will give you your first amp which is basically just a arm gun that helps control your beams of void energy.
Professional Railjack enjoyer here. It’s pretty fun, but players like me are few and far between. It is a cooperative game mode, so having other people on your team is pretty nice, but no one plays railjack. Level up the crew intrinsic up until you can change crew member stats, then focus on leveling engineering to have access to the forge. Crew member stats you want are Gunnery, Repair, and endurance. Defense is helpful, piloting is the worst. Other than that, hopefully you have fun and I get to see you on your Railjack adventures. Good luck Tenno
heads dont lead with railjack because we remember how it launched (VERY buggy) but honestly every time I get myself a crew that's running on all cylinders, the missions are insanely fun
It's weird that Duviri is available so early. I mean, it's a really nice place to farm new frames for new players, but story-wise, it's very confusing. I think it should be ok for you to play it right before The New War. So The New War makes a lot more sense.
Is for spoilers and world building, Duviri don't make any fucking sense without the correct order. Is like playing Whispers in the Walls for your first quest.
@@Thenchresleth No, because Duviri takes place before New War, Duviri doesnt make any sense regardless of the context because hes going to have to complete THAT before he can do New War or Zariman, theres no ''correct order'' besides doing Duviri first.
We kinda forget about railjack sometimes cuz it’s so out there from the regular gameplay and don’t really touch it until we have to fight our Liches. Plus when it first drop it was so bad that they announced that they were reworking it the first dev-stream after it dropped. It’s still fun tho, especially when you pilot yours as Lavos so you never use energy.
I don't agree with holding off on Duviri, it was originally a different way to start the game so has things aimed at new players like a rogue like game mode that is very rewarding in terms of easily unlocking warframe etc. Most people will be saying you should hold off until after the New War for story reasons. But I'd argue that's not necessarily for the best, both quests answer questions about the other so you're just trading off when you get those answers. And while there are good reasons to think New War first is best I don't think it's a suprising that release order is the popular opinion. Personally I think I'd have preferred to do Duviri first had it been an option at the time. Hell I'd go so far as to say it might be worth doing before the War Within as it'll make some things in that quest hit harder.
I mean, the surprise of playing as *Spoiler is the main reason people say hold off, whats the comparable spoiler you miss out on doing New War first? The hand? The thing most players doing duviri second still dont notice? I could understand saying "the quality of life improvements that come with being able to do duviri is worth losing the blind experience moments". But not "theres an equal amount of stuff spoiled doing it second".
@@TheRagingAura how important is that being a surprise? Exactly how they relates is the important bit, and I don't think Duviri doesn't spoil that? In either case the best way I've seen it put is that it changes that part from a deus ex machina into a chekhov's gun. And personally I think having the context, makes that point in New War more, not less, intresting. It's at least not as cut and dry as the chat is making out. And you're right the mechanical aspect are probably worth it for a completely new player regardless.
@@HotCod the surprise is thinking you are someone else, finding out they are not that person, then discovering how that person is important. Theres also the teshin spoiler, what happens in new war AND duviri with him loses all emotional impact when youve played duviri first. I know, because thats how I did it. I started duviri because the quest popped up, ran through the introduction and an emotion, and felt like "Im missing some context here" and went to see if I did things out of order. I then did through new war, got to the spoiler, and felt the moment didnt matter because of *spoilers. I can understand the chekhofs gun angle, but as someone who did experience it that way, its not as impactful as doing new war first. I wish I could have experienced it that way.
@@TheRagingAura I don't want to get into a blow by blow, it will get spoilery and I don't even disagree that there are good arguments for doing New War first. As is I've been playing long enough that I did do them in release order and it been a while since I actually played New War so it's interesting to hear from who did the other way more recently and didn't like it. I'll keep that in mind if I recommended it in future.
@@TheRagingAura All of us vets knew Drifter was coming with Duviri for a few years before it happened. It was being hyped up before they were even working on New War. The surprise was when they were introduced. Besides, missing context has always been Warframe's thing. With a very limited budget in the past, all the lore about the Orokin and Zariman Ten-Zero was just background lore. For years. You're never going to recreate that emotional impact that after the better part of a decade merely hearing these names shrouded in mystery, we suddenly had characters and locations to go with them. The experience coming in now is always going to be different and that's okay.
The hole your diving into is going to get even deeper just you wait, Soon enough you are going to want a MynameIs to be your lore daddy for Warframe. Some of the stuff in the lore is just damn wild man.
ngl now is actually the optimal time to do Duviri, I hate how people claim its not. You do Duviri *BEFORE* TnW. Not AFTER. It fits between TSD and TnW. Which is where he's at. Also please its "Doo-vee-ree" 😭
@@Pigmachine2000 It literally doesn't. You're supposed to know who Drifter is when you reach TNW. I played Duviri after TNW and it completely ruined the experience because I had no clue who Drifter was. Duviri takes place literally right before TNW, and you should play it before TNW.
My man, My first dive into the rabbit hole called Warframe was back around Rise of Iorn. I was over the micro transactions and Tess getting updates but not the actual game (D1). I took a pivot and was on Warframe until Fortuna (Tennocon 2018); Then Destiny won me back around Curse of Osiris. My last straw for D2 was Mid Last year (Maya/Saint arc). I am back in Warframe now and let me tell you as a fellow Titan, its good to see you on the other side Tenno.
Story-wise, that doesn't make sense to do it after. Technically, the new war and durivi pardox kind of happen parallel to each other. So it would make sense to durivi before the new war
Hey Ross. Anyone telling you to delay Duviri is a moron. Doing it earlier makes the late game quests cooler. It also gives you access to an easier frame farm and resources.
@texting7856 He doesn't want them given to him, that's what he said. All Duviri does is guarantee the parts but you still have to work for it. It just removes the RNG. I said it was easi-ER, not easy period.
@@akdreamer6497 honestly at this point it's probably better to just do the quest chronologically in order of release. As in, New War and then Duviri. It would be fine if he had done it the moment it was available, but right now he is too far into the main story quest that Duviri will probably just confused him even more.
So I first picked up D1 during Taken King’s release w/ the Legendary Edition of the game, and….ngl, I legit thought that the scene of Uldren getting shat on in his ship was an indicator of space combat being in the game (was thinking of something like that one level in Halo: Reach). Railjack…..brother, it’s WAY more fun than anything I could have imagined, even when it first came out
I highly recommend playing Nidus. Its a fun a frame. And one of the strongest survival type frames out there. Survival types are warframes that are specially designed to handle drawn out fights as they escalate. They excell in defense and health recovery. Rhino is one. Nidus is another. I never got my nidus through paying. I farmed him. Nearly drove me nuts. I have him. I have his prime. I have his delux skin upon release. Hes been my infested baby ever since and i jump at any opportunity to make him stronger.
For nyx, her ability 2 and 3 is ur lifeline. 4 would be the best if you can get the augment mod but 2 will give you armor/shield/overguard based on what enemy you hit with her bolts and her 3 will make enemies fight each other so it takes off a lot of pressure on you.
Aztecross, you should play Duviri it is a solid game mode that could be its own game. plus once you beat the story mode for Duviri you unlock " The Circuit" where each week you can pick on a rotation a new Warframe to unlock. plus you get pretty decent mods for them and some arcane mods that would be useful. Sometimes you get a weapon frame in there too.

Each crew member can be assigned different roles, from piloting to gunner and engineer (Kinda' like combat medic for the ship).

Those people are stupid
The engine would be too strained????? What does that even mean? Why does bungie even have developers? Those people are not serious people

00:10 you should do duviri after or before THE zeriman quest for more context
He should definitely do The Duviri Paradox directly before The New War quest. It’ll give him the knowledge he needs to make sense of things for The New War quest. And you have to complete The New War before The Angels of the Zariman anyway.
@@jamescox7989 Fuck no, do it in release order. Makes it less confusing
@ The release order would’ve had him doing The Duviri Paradox before he even did Natah man. Lore wise it would make the most sense for him to do it right before The New War as The Duviri Paradox is a stand alone quest aside from it being referenced in The New War.
@@jamescox7989 No? Duviri released way after Natah, hell it came out after The New War and AoZ
@@Orion_44 Oops, my bad. I looked up the order that they should be played in, not the release order. You’re right about when it came out, but lore wise it should be played right before The New War so that the dots can be connected without unnecessary extra steps and confusion.
The Cy voice lines are impeccable , crazy to hear them after so long
Really takes the gravitas out of the cutscenes when the rubberneckers idle around in your way while playing.
Excited to see this guy getting into WF and creating content about it. Awesomesauce.
Duviri leads to the Circuit that leads to more frames. Don't sleep on this.
Agreed, now that the 'Big reveal' is out of the way he should laser focus Duviri and Circuit.
Yeah, folks weren't saying no duviri because they think that it's not worth the rewards, it's because spoilers if he hasn't been to certain parts of the story yet.
@@wanderer202Duviri Should be blocked like others quests. A fucking huge spoiler siting there for no reason.
@@abdulazizmari9021 Duviri is central to the core of the end-game if you wish to build power. Duviri fuels the Helminth and opens the path to Incarnons after you complete the star chart and unlock the steel path. Steel path Circuit is how you get Incarnons. Normal path Circuit is how you get more frames to fuel the Helminth and allow you to customize your builds. Helminth allows you to use Archon Shards and upgrade/combine them. Duviri is required for Incarnons via Pathos Clamps and other materials only found in Duviri.
Agreed
It's peak content, he has the operator, has some idea of the zaramin. He's completely fine story wise to play it. It's a separate storyline.
Watching people experience and enjoy this stuff for the first time brings a smile to my face every single time 😁
I think the "this" the title refers to is
1. Good developers who listen to community
2. Content
Things this D2 fella would not often find in well, D2
The devs forgot about it. As did most people. It was originally supposed to replace the orbiter entirely, then a few very loud people in the community didn't like it and the devs trashed the whole thing. Abdondoned it. Now it's so buggy even the animations are broken.
RIP railjack. The devs may come back and fix it in 5-7 years.
Interesting how the skin you get from call of the tempestarii is arguably better than the paid ones lol
Eh, personally disagree. It feels like one of the normal skins but with a green glow and Sevagoth's head on it. Little simple for me, but people can prefer that if they want.
Railjack has potential but needs some tedious things to be streamlined and in needs proper rewards. IF fixed and given proper rewards, then incentives to play Railjack missions will grow.
What needs to be streamlined?
@@not_kes well the grineer tilesets you infiltrate and then have to destroy something outside? What if your running solo? What if teammate is busy and cant focus on that thing outside to shoot it?
Then there is the big cannon, you have to leave your pilot seat go to the back and get on the gun shoot it then get off the gun, go back in pilot seat.
I understand the idea of teamplay, crew system. but I think this is also part of the deterrent that puts off players as well.
@@darkmugetsu6572 If you're running solo, your AI crew can destroy the objectives outside, your Omni can teleport you to the inside of your ship. If your teammate is busy and can't focus on that thing outside....that's difficult to happen as the first part of Railjack is you clearing the enemies from the mission, after that very few enemies spawn.
Forward artillery isn't *needed* to destroy ships, it just destroys ships faster.
@@nattythepanda4692 oh good to know then it is just all about lack or proper rewards and maybe even variety of space related objectives. Imagine how fun it be if there was like a survival version of space or we incorporate the invasion system into a faction war with 2 capital ships and various fighters in space.
Watching you do new war is going to be really fun
I started watching you for simply your reaction to the Tom Christle videos, but now I'm addicted to your content lol
btw duviri is fine to do early, gives you really nice options early on.
people worry about some things being spoilers but its SO out of context that i have never ever seen a single person by spoiled by it becouse you only put pieces together afterwards.
They actually moved it from the beginning beginning to Uranus. Technically "early" as in before New War, but...I think it's still better than New War. Better contextually than the very beginning, certainly, if done at least after Second Dream.
I think doing it early is nice because it makes it feel like the later quest(s) have more weight
Really really nice for trying out new warframe. I picked up guass and zephyr thanks to testing on the circuit
he is gonna love call of the tempestarii when he gets there
Sigh Railjack….so many amazing/horrible memories…
Remember launch when your entire gaming would screen tear like a Cyberpunk character going through technosychosis?
Good times
You can hire NPC crewman for your Railjack via a vendor in Fortuna. Then assign them roles (Gunner, Pilot, Security, Repairs) and they are fantastic. Ive genuinely never had a single problem with them, and you can give them Weapons from your own arsenal so they can one shot most enemies that board.
They can also just straight up complete quests for you so be careful what you assign them to do.
(16:00) Cross if you think going through the Stars in Warframe was crazy then you should have joined sooner when we basically had a community raid on both ground and space itself
Ok I do remember this being a game mode was it clan against clan?
A what??
For those who don’t know or remember
This was operation scarlet spear
Railjack crew and ground crew to combat the sentients
Aw man, Operation Scarlet Spear was genuinely so fun. I wish they kept that aspect of the ground + space team working in conjunction with each other but I guess it was too much of a technical nightmare.
Thank you Limbo and Draconis. Yes, that event! It was so much fun!
I see Aztecross has discovered Railjack and some of the benefits involved. Regarding Railjack, I would suggest getting your Railjack mostly upgraded to make other content easier to deal with (I will not say which ones, though). You'll be glad you did later on.
Other suggestions for Aztecross:
Get the Nautilus sentinel as well as it comes with Auto-Omni, which is very convenient for making repairs in-mission. Also, get VERY familiar with the intrinsic system and acquire those upgrades asap. Especially Elite crewmates.
As for Duviri, don't do that mission for now until you've progressed in the main storyline later on since you're a new WF player. It will make a WHOLE lot more sense down the road.
8:20 i see a future main wisp here...
Bro looks like he's having so much fun with the game. Nice to see!
In conclusion: Warframe is by far, by FAR one of the best games ever created.
🎯Never got the award for best on going game because of business politics.
They don’t Warframe to set a new industry standard especially with how fair DE is. So they choose not to recognize it for the industries “benefit”.
I’m fairly new to warframe, started back in September and when I found out about the railjack stuff I was so hyped lol to then find out no one really does it, personally I actually really like it
Legendary Drops already told you about this a few months ago
There are certain railjack turrets that when piloted by NPC's are capable of auto completing every mission in the game with ease, Do not Neglect your crew and you'll do perfectly fine. As a side note there's a warframe named Lavos that doesn't use energy but cooldowns and that carries over into railjack giving your abilities you slot into your ship 0 cost but just a small cooldown when flying it yourself.
Cross read the tips for each frame when looking at their abilities, will really help you out alot! Keep up the fight Tenno
5:58 - “it could get deep in the family, Crodie!” 😂
Glad someone enjoys their railjack
It's really sad that so many Warframe players will talk badly about certain features, while newbies are falling in love with them. Railjack is one, for sure. I've seen newbies hear there's a pilotable spacecraft, and all the vets in chat cringe and go "ugh, Railjack sucks, get it built and never touch it again." Meanwhile, the newbies get their ship built, they fly some missions and are making the actual react face from thumbnails I never actually see content creators make. I just don't get why those players do that.
I never disliked mine so I don't get this attitude.
Was looking away from my screen then heard 4:27 and said wtf lol
Professional Railjack enjoyer here. It’s pretty fun, but players like me are few and far between. It is a cooperative game mode, so having other people on your team is pretty nice, but no one plays railjack. Level up the crew intrinsic up until you can change crew member stats, then focus on leveling engineering to have access to the forge. Crew member stats you want are Gunnery, Repair, and endurance. Defense is helpful, piloting is the worst. Other than that, hopefully you have fun and I get to see you on your Railjack adventures. Good luck Tenno
18:03 thats me standing on his railjack
tiny ahh wisp in the background
heads dont lead with railjack because we remember how it launched (VERY buggy) but honestly every time I get myself a crew that's running on all cylinders, the missions are insanely fun
It's weird that Duviri is available so early. I mean, it's a really nice place to farm new frames for new players, but story-wise, it's very confusing. I think it should be ok for you to play it right before The New War. So The New War makes a lot more sense.
It was meant to be a new entry point for new players, but things didn't go as expected
Cross becoming a warframe streamer gonna make me come back to the game
Duviri is not that bad, come on chat, hes going to have to play it eventually, he has to for New War lmao.
It's not bad. I just think Duviri and New War should be played together, no secondary quests between them.
I will agree that doing Duviri and New War in succession is the best bet, because Duviri is like a tutorial for how New Wars gameplay works
@@airsoul366 no doing duviri after new war is the best for storytelling purpose, because TNW was built like that
We kinda forget about railjack sometimes cuz it’s so out there from the regular gameplay and don’t really touch it until we have to fight our Liches. Plus when it first drop it was so bad that they announced that they were reworking it the first dev-stream after it dropped. It’s still fun tho, especially when you pilot yours as Lavos so you never use energy.
Railjack missions are better if you have a squad with dedicated roles, based on my own experience.
Also please its "Doo-vee-ree" 😭
no it fits after TNW because it completely ruins a reveal from TNW
Duviri should ONLY be done after completing The New War, it's the only quest that's unlocked FAR TOO early.
Story-wise, that doesn't make sense to do it after. Technically, the new war and durivi pardox kind of happen parallel to each other. So it would make sense to durivi before the new war
@@trevionmitchell8308 TNW has a reveal that gets completely spoiled by duviri
Hey Ross. Anyone telling you to delay Duviri is a moron. Doing it earlier makes the late game quests cooler. It also gives you access to an easier frame farm and resources.
He doesnt want easy way to unlock frames he already said it in warly streams
@texting7856 He doesn't want them given to him, that's what he said. All Duviri does is guarantee the parts but you still have to work for it. It just removes the RNG. I said it was easi-ER, not easy period.
@@akdreamer6497 honestly at this point it's probably better to just do the quest chronologically in order of release. As in, New War and then Duviri. It would be fine if he had done it the moment it was available, but right now he is too far into the main story quest that Duviri will probably just confused him even more.
I honestly just think it's because people dont want to watch it. Duviri is going to make things very convenient for cross when he unlocks the circuit.
but it spoils the story of new war
So I first picked up D1 during Taken King’s release w/ the Legendary Edition of the game, and….ngl, I legit thought that the scene of Uldren getting shat on in his ship was an indicator of space combat being in the game (was thinking of something like that one level in Halo: Reach).
Railjack…..brother, it’s WAY more fun than anything I could have imagined, even when it first came out
Seeing this as a Destiny player really pisses me off ;-) Warframe looks sick!
When he talked about Starfield - 'They had twenty two years to make that game, the ship combat was ass!'
Absolute truth my brother, you had me dying😂
Switching up your Warframe is something I'd recommend you do to beat back that burnout and grind feeling.
Highly recommend Unairu as your 1st focus school for your operator when you get to that.
I’ve been keeping up with all the videos but are the actual streams good to go back and watch/listen to? Looking for something new to listen to at work and I’m not sure if the streams add all that much more over the condensed videos
