Hi great video but please wear gloves no matter how hot . As a ex police officer ive seen several major hand injuries with no gloves. and theres no surgery that can save it.
Just purchased the Aragon ❤ What a bike I can not stop riding it The power the ride feel is incredible an absolute great bike certainly does not disappoint 🎉
Hi mate …love review…a quick question….the performance of the Rally vs GT in the corners is too far apart ?? (asking cause I love the spokes wheel of the Rally but would prefer the handling of GT as iam a street rider) thanks and safe miles 🙌🙌
Thank you 🙏. The spoked wheels handle just perfect. You can also influence that a little bit with awesome road tyres. You only notice the difference between the 2 when riding them back to back. Go for spoke wheels if you prefer that, and you will be perfectly happy 👍🏻
I’ve been watching bike videos for over a year looking for a change and every bike reviewer just eh, after watching and listening to your review is how I’d do it, and yes you just sold a Triumph 900 GT Pro!
Wow, thank you so much 🙏 what a nice compliment. That means a lot to me as I do this for the fun of it, I’m not a journalist, just love biking, bikes and pure enthusiast.
Love the review, especially tearing past JMPD at 125 on the left...lol. Question, I'm 6.5" is the GT Pro ride height comfortable enough.... not seat too ground.... talking seat too peg.
Thank you 🙏 😜 That is tall but I do think it will be comfortable for you as the seat can be adjusted to 2 levels, I think I had it on the lower setting 👌
Thank you so much 🙏👍🏻 They are very close from a riding point of view. If you do a lot of off-road then go with the Rally Pro, otherwise the GT is slightly more sure footed on tar. Looks wise, I like the spoked wheels 😂😂 just to confuse the issue
Then definetely go for the Rally Pro if you like the spoked wheels, cause that still behaves and rides like a dream 👌 My first choice and I don’t do that much off-tossing on gravel but would still get Rally
Just came across the review great review comparing these bikes, for me GT Pro would be the bike but still think for a 900 cc bike to tour uk and Europe it needs more HP for two up with panniers full of luggage motorway and high speed over taking , the build quality looks outstanding, watching from 🏴👍🏻
Would you rate this bike better than the Yamaha 700 or even the Super Tenera? I think so. I really love this bike Better than the BMW F750GS. Would you rate it better than That bike? Thank you for your video. Fantastic video! I'm loving the GT Pro for I'm about 80/20 road/off-road. Your video is exceptional! I think this is my next bike! Now to go test-ride it.
Really like to know the Off Road performance of each of these. A lot of reviews, including this one, note the Rally Pro is the “more” off road type but never compare and comment on exactly that. Seen many reviews of the Off Road performance of the Rally by itself by not against the GT. Be good to know what the GT Pro can do off road to understand its limits and see when and why the step to the Rally would be required for some. Thought that would be fundamental to the point of the two.
@@route21garage excellent, looking fwd to that indeed. The tyre type. Many manufacturers note a 30/70, 50/50, 20/80 etc in their marketing materials but be good to get a real users opinion. I have a GT Pro, wanna go off road and don’t know weather to stick a certain tyre on it or switch ( one day) to the Rally..( sure there are so many variable I know). Your opinion would be great. thanks E
excellent review 👏 had a test ride on the GT Pro today but at the moment I have an 800xca so going to test ride the rally pro this week which I think I'll be more happy with 🤣 But as I say that was an excellent review
As an ex sport rider I would recommend the gt. Reasons I say that is it seems to handle just that bit better on the road in directional changes and the twisties. Both are superb, however gt is that bit more street focused
I totally agree. I’ve just done the review on the 1200’s and that Rally Pro is the finest adventure bike you get right now in my opinion. Triumph SA will only let me upload that review on the 25th of this month when they have completed their press launches…..
Aside from CC’s, what are you losing buying the 900 over the 1200? My wife and I are wanting Touring bikes and while I enjoyed the 1200 test ride, and my wife likes The 900 since she’s just not tall enough to feel comfortable on the 1200. I must have wind protection; comfort for long rides, and capacity to carry both a passenger and bags without being under powered. Thoughts? Mike
Hi Mike, the 900 is absolutely Brilliant and can keep up in every way with the bigger 1200. The only time you might feel you made the wrong purchase would be 2 up with full panniers touring. That is when you might just wish you had a few more horses. If your wife rides herself and you on yours, then that 900 can pedal proper aswell 💪👍🏻
@@route21garage Thanks for your thoughts! The price difference is big between the 900/1200 so I’m trying to think through this. I love the feel and size of the 1200, and I do think we may go two up once in a while with our youngest daughter, but she’s almost 20 and at that point where she’s spreading her wings. I love the weight and feel of the 1200…and how it handled the wind….but that sticker price is tough. Especially since I always buy bikes in 2’s since my wife is absolutely no passenger…my best girl loves to ride. :-) guess I need to think hard about the 900.
@@michaelrheiner2415 I have the 900 Rally Pro and i tried the 1200 and i must say it is not that much diffent and the price is insane too so i would go for the 900 and i never had any need for more horsepower that what is on the 900 even with full panniers and camping gear loaded, i live in Norway and here is it much mountains and such and still it feels more than enough for me anyway:)
I think the secret to Noraly’s success with people is she assumes the best and she prejudges nobody. A lot of people are guarded and even afraid of strangers, particularly if they are different in appearance. I have been fortunate to have been able to travel a bit and have found at the base level people are pretty much the same. Treat someone as you would want to be treated and things will work out. Walt Whitman said to be less judgmental and have more curiosity. Try to understand where people are coming from. Noraly lives that mantra. Much love to you Noraly…the world needs more people like you.
Yes I did, transforms it to a twisties runner and makes the performance very exciting. I prefer the GT when it comes to that mode as those alloy wheels seem to change direction quicker.
Enjoyed the reviews and the way you rode As for the bikes, if someone would give it to me either ones free of charge, I'd sell it and get either a Japanese bike or a Beemer, never been a fun of 3 cylinders, with that annoying whistling noise that the engine makes. A bit too fancy with all this electronics. Service and maintenance mustn't come cheap either. Imagine if you drop it plus service and maintenance, it's a matter of taste I suppose and if you can afford it
Hi great video but please wear gloves no matter how hot . As a ex police officer ive seen several major hand injuries with no gloves. and theres no surgery that can save it.
GREAT ADVICE, SIR. Good gloves save your post-crash quality of life
A really good advice indeed
Outstanding review! Like the way you put both bikes through the gears with real world riding. Excellent job!
Thank you so much 🙏
Just purchased the Aragon ❤ What a bike I can not stop riding it The power the ride feel is incredible an absolute great bike certainly does not disappoint 🎉
Nice review style. Good to see bikes being ridden at very high speed for a change.
It's South Africa, he's probably running away.
Thanks for driving like a real biker👍 and for a really nice review 👌🏻🇸🇪
Thank you so much 🙏👍🏻
nice tip on the rear break lever height adjustment
think this is the best review I've seen of these bikes - GTpro currently top of my 'next bike' list
Great review mate , I'm researching this type of bike and Triumph has made these very tempting with all these stock extras
Thank you so much 🙏 They are also such well refined and well built bikes, awesome riding experience

I love how you rode through the traffic on the freeway,I live in Perth Australia,100k an hour max on our freeway and the locals struggle to do that.
Thank you 😎😂 South Africa is still a bit of a free for all 👍🏻💪
Great review. Ive currently got my 800R and its been great for 8 years. Thinking of going for a new 900 so that was very helpful!
Also could you please compare 1200 GT and Rally with their 900 Siblings❤

That back carry case looks so top heavy, does it affect the handling in a bad way? I would try to just make do with the side cases
Thanks. Best deailed review. Omitted slow speed U turn info?
I rise to the challenge. Your demo is awesome and that Rally Pro is unbelievable. SA looks like the place to break the speed limit. Can I play?
Great review, trying to work out what one is best to get. So great help
Thank you 🙏. Pretty much dependent on touring mainly on tar roads vs full adventure riding. Enjoy and good luck 👍🏻
Great review mate! Which one you enjoyed the most and thought I’d have that bike just from your feelings when you drove them?
Thank you so much 🙏👍🏻 They are very close from a riding point of view. If you do a lot of off-road then go with the Rally Pro, otherwise the GT is slightly more sure footed on tar. Looks wise, I like the spoked wheels 😂😂 just to confuse the issue

HP is only HP. I traded in my GTR 1400 (155 HP and 136 Nm torque) for the GT Pro 3 years ago and haven’t had a single regret.

Are the brakes linked on the rally pro?
Did you think the rally is like fun as the gt on the street? And do you think the ho is enough for an ex sport bike driver? Thanks

Fantastic bikes. 160km was nice to see mate. The RP would be my cheery choice.

@@route21garage WOW!! Better than the GS ? If so, you're the second review that's topping the GS by the Rally Pro.
Would the Rally Pro be good for riding with a pillion?
It does real good with a pillion, even in the wet on Oem tyres
At 12:55 did you just overtake a cop on the inside?

900 is plenty , no need for the 1200. Tested them both, multiple times.
The rally pro ant time for me 👍😉
2:17 I don't know if it is the angle of camera, but the Rally Pro looks longer than the GT and is generally bigger looking. Is it really?
Overall dimensions are the same. It would be down to camera angle
Excellent review. Subscribed.
Thank you so much 🙏👍🏻
Excellent review, thanks very much!
Thank you so much 🙏
Put your gloves on mate 👍
Does the dash give indication of battery heath?
To be honest I cannot recall, I would have to check that up
Great review
Thank you 🙏
Like your stile
