  • Severe storms have caused flooding in parts of Europe on Wednesday. In the Pas-de-Calais department of northern France, rescue crews are helping evacuate residents from inundated homes.
Anthony Richevin and his family were among the residents evacuated in the town of Arques. He said that their house was 50 centimeters deep in water, making it "unlivable" for the moment.
While in northern Germany, temporary dams were put up in the city of Oldenberg, where local farmer Jens Roever was instructed to evacuate to a nearby secondary school along with his family. However, he refused to leave his farm and his animals behind, including his horses.
Floods also engulfed areas of Northamptonshire in Britain's East Midlands, as Storm Henk caused disruption in parts of Britain and Wales. Severe weather warnings from the U.K.'s National Weather Service remained in place for Wednesday.

In 2024, our planet enters a 12,000-year cosmic cycle. Since then natural disasters and cataclysms will intensify and occur much more often.

Man accelerated climate change from high carbon emissions is causing higher rainfall, which was also modeled to happen. We can't specially point at this event and cry "climate change" but we know these events will become more and more frequent.

And from the end of 2024, the number and scale of natural disasters will increase many times over. The reason for this is entering the cosmic cycle of 12000 years.
If we don't take action now, in 5-7 years it will be impossible to live on the planet. And not later than 2036 there will be a catastrophe, which will turn the Earth into a second Mars.
We still have a chance to save the planet and our own lives. The analytical report and ways to solve the problem are voiced here: "Global Crisis. The Responsibility" (online forum).

A bit of explanation about this northern department: the region called "Hauts-de-France" (or Upper France in English) has a similar landscape to the Netherlands, especially in the two upmost departments (Nord, Pas-de-Calais). Their respective maximum elevations are 970ft and 695ft. Both areas are traversed by 12 rivers, and their underground phreatic zones are already full to the brim due to 2 consecutive very rainy months (November and December 2023). 8 flooding alerts have already been issued during that time, so yeah we can understand the overall frustration of the local inhabitants.

Physics: The drainage must also be able to flow somewhere. However, if the drain (the rivers) itself is overloaded, even the best drainage will no longer flow.

Very wise advice (lol). Best drainage systems has existed in these regions for centuries. However, at some point a limit is reached when the water can no longer flow out of the drainage system, because all the rivers, that are supposed to absorb the water, also have water levels that are too high.

      You are right.
In 2023, the destruction on the entire planet reached a new level. The world was shaken by devastating and abnormal earthquakes, a huge number of red auroras in unusual places, abnormal heating of the ocean, Category 5 hurricanes, wildfires covering half the planet, rivers and lakes massively disappearing, droughts changing with large-scale floods, volcanoes becoming active.
Over the last 30 years, the climate has changed catastrophically. The cause of this is the cosmic cycle of 12000 years. The same changes are happening now on all planets of the solar system.
From the end of 2024, the number and scale of natural disasters will increase many times over. And if we do nothing now, it will be impossible to live on the planet in 5-7 years. And not later than 2036 catastrophe will occur, which will turn the Earth into a planet like Mars.
We still have a chance to save the planet and humankind. The analytical report and ways to solve the problem are voiced here: "Global Crisis. The Responsibility" (online forum).
