Hey, great work with the edit and the visuals! May I offer my constructive critique tho - I find some sound effects and part of the music too loud. I would guess atleast half of the people here fall alseep on it or watch it on background if not more. So the narrator must be more distinctive. Obviosly I have no idea about the best way to do it. Over the years Hawkshaw has gained much expierience when it comes to video editing and audio mixing, so I hope the "newer" videos are more to your liking! Also just to clarify, I only edited the intro and put the compilation together. Hakshaw nowadays has a few different editors helping them create the videos we all love!

I wouldn't worry too much about Nightreign, that game isn't canon in any of the universe. It's pretty much a rogue-like monster-hunter type of game where you get to fight the bosses from across the Soul series and maybe from Bloodborne as well. Probably just a testing-ground as to see how hey would shape their future games based on how Nightreign is going to be received

It's pretty clear that the lore of Dark Souls did change as the games were being written. I highly doubt that Miyazaki planned from the beginning for there to be an entire city full of Pygmies, and the whole concept of a "Lord of Hollows" seems to contradict to me what a Hollow even is according to DS1.
No dude it's all there, look at smough then soul memory from ds2 along Aldrich and slave knight Gael. They are all part of the narrative about the dark soul.

It just hits so hard when life always feels unfilled/incomplete there is always a glimmer of hope to be a better version of ourselves if we only push ourselves past our perceived limits. A 12 hour video that I will not regret in my life. Dark Souls really have a very complicated lore and I'm all for it. Should you do for the next 2 sequel Dark Souls 2 & 3, I'm down for it.
