I am trying to find out about the worm. What was it? A tape? The actual book of cases is a bit out of my reach ($$) at this moment, but I really want to know more about "the worm." Anyone? Book really sucked me in. Couldn't put it down; same as all of See's novels.

That part got me because I've been researching parasites for years. She mentioned 'segment' so it sounds like a tapeworm
