      No matter what you think of him, he sure knew how to get things done!
      ...By "things", I mean murdering his predecessor, authorizing the barbaric slaughter of hundreds of thousands of unarmed civilians including women and children, while managing to at the very least throw black people and old folk some crumbs along the way--it's complicated!

      He was a ego maniac. He was involved in JFK death. He was a terrible person and even worse President. He started Vietnam and God 56,000 Americans killed . He lied to the American people. He was the worst president ever. JFK said to Bobby one time my God could you imagine if LBJ ever became president!!.

    The picture of him being sworn in on the plane, laughing with jackie Kennedy right beside him with her husbands brains still on her clothes tells you all you need to know.

    LBJ is the most confusing US President ever. For one, he probably should have never been president and unlikely would have ever been democratically elected. He only achieved the office through unusual circumstances. LBJ was notoriously undiplomatic and unstatesmanlike. He was basically an impulsive and confused alcoholic with a talent for manipulating people. In absolute irony, he achieved monumental legislative results that perhaps 99% of politicians could never dream of, all while committing one of the biggest failures in US history. Still, in spite of the fact that he seems to be the exception to every rule as President, he is quite easily overlooked.

      We MUST care.History repeats itself.

    • @richardtalbott6215
      @richardtalbott6215 6 місяців тому

      Example given:
      "The Emperor's new clothes" is an old, old story.
      All this "woke" bullshit nowadays is the stage. Where the show happens.
      The "repeat" is this;
      Check out how loudly "all the emperor's men" freak out and protest when the little boy tells the truth.
      Think about it.

      @@richardtalbott6215 History does not repeat itself. Human nature doesn't change

    • @richardtalbott6215
      @richardtalbott6215 6 місяців тому +1

      @@morjik2288 ya it does. E.g.:
      The moral of the "emperor's new clothes",which is an old,old story, is how much all the emperor's men protested when the little boy told the truth.
      Think about that for a minute and the take another minute to consider this whole "woke culture" idiocy.
      That is what I see, anyway.
      History AND human nature repeat and/or never change.

      If you dont learn from past mistakes your bound to repeat them. Why do you think we are having so many problems today. The younger generations don't know the past mistakes and why they are important to learn from
