I listen to this song every once in a while for the last 15 years. It used to be part of a rotation of songs I needed to fall asleep. The chill vastness of the music combined with the mortality musings of the lyrics served as a wonderful counterpoint to a head too full of busy thoughts. I can't describe how grateful I am for this song.

my best friend used to blast you guys incessantly on loop everywhere all the time and i was all super elite death metal camo pant spinkick jerkon teenager i was like no thanks please no, and he died terribly after we fell apart, but now listening to this newer stuff and going through commencement again and it's exactly what i needed to hear, to feel closure, to say he was right this whole time, youse really are great, to let him know i still think about him, will blast you guys up and down st. marks to mott street next time i check out our favorite head shop and chinese food spot
