Your are brilliant and so generous to share all this knowledge! Because of you I am considering to decorate the church, to do my own bouquet, boutonnières etc for my wedding! Thank you so much 😊
Juliana Branquinho thank you 😊 if you are considering this then please practise in advance - that will allow you to see how it goes and save any stress the day before the big day
Deborah Tansey wow, you must have watched a few back to back - thank you! I think the videos we have created give a good resource to people, and you can watch again and again. Have a great day!
@@FlowerJoosnonetheless, by the time we arrived upon this video is because we are dealing with a church pew that has no where for a pew clip to hang. Showing how to hang with a ribbon would have been lovely .
Hi there! The wider the ribbon the harder it is to tie nicely, but you can use a wide ribbon as the bow and use a narrower version to tie it off. There’s not a ‘right’ width I’m afraid, just see what you can find, and which ones you like! For the tie ribbon then 1 cm or I inch is a good guide.
Awesome John, you know so much!!! and how many days in advance I can get the flowers? Lets say if my wedding is on a Saturday afternoon, could i buy the flowers on the previous Wednesday (4 days before) and keep the flowers in water, then prepare the pew ends and my bouquet on Thursday (as Friday is bank holiday here) so I dont want to chance it. Please let me know also how is best to keep the flowers fresh :) Thank you very much.
CC yes, buy them on the Wednesday is fine. Then you can make them on the Thursday or Friday. Best to let them have a good drink and condition before making up the items. After making leave the stems longer than finally needed and keep somewhere cool in water up to the tie point. Then finish off on the day - the bouquet with ribbon and cut the stems to the length you want, and the pew ends place in situ that morning. They will be out of water but okay for the ceremony as they are nicely hydrated 😀🙋🏼♂️
CC yes, ideally I would make that on the Friday. If you use materials that will change ie tulips that grow towards the light, then either keep the bouquet in a dark place or make on the Friday afternoon. Send us some pictures 🙋🏼♂️😀
They are best placed on the day or the wedding - but can be premade and kept 8n water a day or so before. Essentially though they are out of water - so maybe in winter or when it’s cool then they could be placed the night before, but I always set them up on the day. Hope that helps 😀🌼
Hello! I’m not entirely sure the size as this was a while ago but I think 50mm / 2 inch - and yes, this could be made with faux flowers - it’s ideal as they won’t wilt! 😊🙋🏼♂️
Nalika Epa with flowers that are essentially just stems, then they need to be kept in water until as close to the time of the wedding as possible. So placed on the day is good. In cooler climates they are then fine out of water for a few hours . So if you are in a warm country and using soft flowers then this is more tricky. 🌼🙋🏼♂️
A simple, attractive design. As usual, the tutorial was full of tips that will reduce the stress of making something for a big day.

Almost makes me want to get married! Beautiful as always!

Love it 😊
That's an interesting topic! Even more interesting would be to see how to tie it to a church pew.
@@osvaldovangi5523 thank you! Church pews can really vary in style.

Tied pew end is very simple
Lovely, I like them without water tubes. People need to realize some wedding flowers will die that evening.
That is true - they just need to be good on the day 😀
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Very very beautifoul👌😍 !!!

Good night !!! 🌙
simple and very nice ^^
Hi there, thanks for the tip! How wide should the ribbon be?

@@FlowerJoos oh I see, how wide was the ribbon in the video? It looks nice!
@@katrinapschan this is 2 inch / 5 cm wide - that’s a nice width for a pew end

@@FlowerJoos Thanks a lot! I assume it is the same principle for the bridal bouquet 😀x

@@FlowerJoos I will do! 😀 thank you John
Do they need to be put out on the day of the wedding or will they last for one day?

What size ribbon is that, and can you also do this with fake flowers
Hello! I’m not entirely sure the size as this was a while ago but I think 50mm / 2 inch - and yes, this could be made with faux flowers - it’s ideal as they won’t wilt! 😊🙋🏼♂️
Wow
If we use some other flowers what is the method to keep the flowers alive

HI! I love you teeth as a hand ;). what length/yardage of ribbon for each chocolate box bow?

Kelsey Clarke ok - that’s a good suggestion 🙋🏼♂️😀
Please and thank you!!! I learning lots and absolutely love the look of a good chair flower arrangements keep up the good work thank you again!
