    Hi I’m Aurikatariina and I deep clean my followers' homes for free! ❤️
    This is part 2 of cleaning Sallys apartment that her tenants trashed! Last time we cleaned the kitchen and we were able to save everything else but the floor because it was just so ruined. Today we cleaned the bathroom which was grimylicious! The floor was covered with this black substance and it was amazing! This home might not look toi dirty to clean but it was really dusty everywhere. What made this cleaning extra fun was that we could throw everything away since the tenant had already moved out and left. I had my best friend Anni clean with me and we had so much fun as always! I hope you are having fun too watching this video💗

    It took me over 2 years to get people out of the house I inherited from my aunt. Her housekeeper and husband filed fraudulent paperwork saying that my aunt gave it to them. They were arrested for theft of the house and were still living in the house after bailing out of jail. Unfortunately I live 1,000 miles away. After hiring an attorney and making several trips to my aunt's house they were finally evicted. They both skipped their court dates and still have warrants out for their arrest 3 years after they were evicted. Quite the nightmare, but everything worked out in the end without too much damage to the house.

    Evictions in the US are crazy hard.
    As someone who was a child and lived through this situation many times, know that these people have a similar problem as hoarders. I can remember my parents destroying an apt, us packing a backpack of clothes one day, and moving to a new apt with nothing. Over and over and over. It's devastating to the children. I'm so sorry Sally went through this as the landlord. I hope these people get help.

This is a mental disorder like hoarding - there's something wrong with these people. I don't understand it much myself; I moved out when I turned 18 and never looked back, and both of my parents are gone now. But the mental aspect of "Oh well, we'll just start over again I guess." ... I heard that so many times as for not getting help - we were poor with no insurance in the USA. That basically meant we were on our own for everything.

    In Korea landlords send messages like" I am coming tomorrow to see the place" and you can't say no. It is not unheard of like them to come to check the condition of the place they rented. And even where I live now I know people that someone from the letting agencies will come at an agreed time and day to look around the place to make sure it's clean and nothing is damaged ( part of the contract, like it or not).

    • @isaT
      @isaT Місяць тому +35

      I'm so happy that this is not allowed in my country and they can only demand to come inside, with 7 days notice, if some kind of work needs to be done in the appartment.

    • @chaoticcatgremlim

      The UK is the same. They have to give 24 hours but you can only refuse if the request is 'unreasonable' (as per the contract). Some landlords/agents will be kind enough to discuss a different time if you ask, but legally they don't have to as long as there is 24 hours' notice.

    • @millana100
      @millana100 Місяць тому +13

      @@isaT Then arrange for a different time, it's that easy. Why don't you want landlords to check on the place that they OWN, to make sure it's in decent condition. I live in a country where people are known for destroying rentals, it's terrible. If you have nothing to hide, then let them come in for an inspection.
      I live in a condo and I still have to let maintenance into my house. They give notice , but are not required to if there is something like a burst pipe, flooding, major leak, etc. If you refuse, the insurance company will not cover you and the condo can charge you for extra costs for refusal in an urgent situation.

    I am from the Middle East, from a country where the weather is mild throughout the year, so the materials in which houses are built are different. We use oil paint because there is no moisture, and we use marble for floors. Therefore, when we clean the house for the annual cleaning, we remove all the furniture, turn off the electricity, use a long water hose directly, and use a sweeping brush with soap. We then open the windows to ventilate for an hour and that's it...I currently live in America and I miss that cleaning very much

    In Germany it's even worse. The tennants may stay even longer, depending on how long they have lived there before. I think it's up to a year. Of course there should be enough time for the tennants to look for something new, and it's not too bad for all participants when it is about "regular" tennants, but this policy also counts for these lets call them "destructive tennents", that leave you with a terrible mess, lot's of costs and mentally distressed because of financial problems, trouble with the neighbours and a long law struggle. A reason why lots of people don't rent out their Appartements anymore and rather sell them to large companies. This policy doesn't help with the general problem of having not enough flats in the cities. Thank you for helping, Aurikatharina!

    13:50 here in Italy is very difficult to evict someone. I personally struggled and had to fight to be able to evict a tenant who was not payng rent for almost 2 years. Every time we tried to evict her we had to pay for the bailiff, our lawyer, a doctor (because the tenant faked the symptoms of an illness, when she was perfectly fine), a locksmith, and call the police. And we had to try 3 times before the tenant agreed to leave the house (every time we had to spend a lot of money). I was so stressed and so angry. Then we had to sue the tenant to have back the rent money, but she still hasn't pay.

    heads up for everyone: mix a good amount of laundry detergent in hot water and pour it into your toilet, let it stay put, wait overnight, scrub and wash your toilet next day, it will look like new. This method helps with many other dirty places and things too, as long as it's not made from sensitive materials (for example dont use this method on natural stone, wood or glas). As Auri has explained the more you let time do its work the better the result, just let stuff soak in detergent for as long as you can it will make cleaning much easier.

      Edit: the person who reported me for saying “piss” and “shit” you might wanna grow some Testicles.

    It is heartbreaking to know that someone has not looked after their rental home. It is unforgiveable that they didn't make regular payments to the owner too. How very sad. There are many people who would dearly love to have that flat, but because the owner has had a very bad experience, I doubt she will trust anyone new. You did a fabulous job of sorting and cleaning the home.☺

    Auri, I live in the US, and renting has changed in the last 20 years, now it is all dependent on the lease agreement, and most leases are done by real estate or rental companies. We have a 3-day notice to vacate so they don't get months to do more damage, in 3 days if they haven't paid rent or moved the sheriff comes and puts locks on every entrance and what has left the tenants lose their belongings. I rent a house and have lived here for 19 years, my lease is outdated and I have not signed a new one since I moved in. I have an awesome landlord and if he wants he can come in and inspect the house.

      Here in California, a neighbor owns several rental properties, and every time it takes 6 months to get the tenants out.
      Every time these tenants that don't pay rent, destroy the property. This last one, it's about $40,000 worth of damage. Every window and door is broken. The privacy fence looks like someone took a sledge hammer to it. The doors and drawer fronts of the kitchen and bathroom cabinets are missing. But, you can see where the tenant was still using the drawers, because of the filth .
      Holes in walls, broken floor tiles, even the garage door was twisted and broken. The house was almost completely full and grime every square inch like the house in this video.
      Those tenants lived there 10 years. Rent was never raised that entire 10 years. $900 / mo for a 5 bedroom 3 bath 2 story home. Once he gets it repaired, the new tenants will pay $2,700.
      At $900/month, they didn't pay rent. He gave the 3 day notice to pay or quit. They didn't pay. It took 6 months after the eviction notice had been filed with the courts for the courts to order the tenants out. And even at that point, the woman begged the judge for 3 more months, because she needed time to find a new place!

    Thank you, Auri, for helping this woman out. Our building had a landlord that rented several units to one criminal "mastermind". There were drug dealers, thieves, and houses of pros going on at all times of the day and night. It took the board, the police, the bylaw officers, lawyers, and politicians about 4 months to evict them and clean up the mess. The landlord was forced to sell and the units were bought by civilized people. We could've used a dozen Auri's!

    Wow, great transformation. The returned library books really warm my heart. I'm sure the library had given up on ever getting them back. Do libraries in Finland charge late fees? They do here. And if you never return the book, eventually they ask you to pay for it in full. Library fees can even go to debt collection. If your library books charge fees, I hope whoever borrowed the ones you returned gets amnesty.... and hopefully they aren't too dirty.
    Those poor floors, though...I'm so glad I never got that type of flooring.

    • @llaiyaz
      @llaiyaz Місяць тому +2

      Yes, libraries do charge a late fee in Finland but in my library it has an upper limit which is pretty low (6 euros/item). Lost/damaged items need to be paid as well. And it also goes to collection if not paid.

    I too, love hearing the stories behind the cleanings. I imagine more people are learning how bad depression can be. I know it's hard to understand the extreme situations it creates. The people themselves don't really understand why it's happening. Often, all they can remember is how it was clean, and then how it is piled/dirty. They can't remember building the 'walls' of stuff, or beginning to throw stuff down. I hope 'normal' people can realize as you've said, that no one wants to live that way. They just feel unable to clear and clean it up. Those feelings and frustration then make the depression even worse.
    I love what you do, and your knowledge and attitude about everything. God bless you!!
    Happy belated birthday!!

    What gets me is stuff like the kitchen cabinet doors. They must live like animals to break those.
    Like somebody else said, in the USA if you haven't paid by the late date, you get an eviction notice immediately. A friend of mine put his rent check in the apartment office mailbox. He didn't know that the mailbox was broken and the office never looked there. He found an eviction notice on his door in 5 days. He went to the office and the mailman helped get his check out of the mailbox. He always paid in person after that. This was about 35 years ago.

    Was that a gun under the sofa? HA eviction in UK even harder. 3.5 years we put up with serious antisocial behaviour from a tenant, including severing the mains gas pipe and nearly blowing us all to kingdom come, using house as a drug factory and fence for stolen goods, wild parties every single day lasting days, fighting outside, ...you name it. In the end she never did get evicted but left of her own accord. The place was trashed.
