Hi I’m Aurikatariina and I deep clean my followers' homes for free! ❤️
This is part 2 of cleaning Sallys apartment that her tenants trashed! Last time we cleaned the kitchen and we were able to save everything else but the floor because it was just so ruined. Today we cleaned the bathroom which was grimylicious! The floor was covered with this black substance and it was amazing! This home might not look toi dirty to clean but it was really dusty everywhere. What made this cleaning extra fun was that we could throw everything away since the tenant had already moved out and left. I had my best friend Anni clean with me and we had so much fun as always! I hope you are having fun too watching this video💗

Auri, i know you mean well with this and it matches the likes of your clients, but this sponsor is not great and if you cared about your viewers you wouldn't endorse them. they share consumers health data without explicit consent to third parties, they are pro-israel offering free therapy to Israelis - but not Palestinians of course - and all around, they're just a super shady company that have no real proof that the credientials of the therapists they offer are certified. think about your followers, especially the vulnerable ones.

I'm so jealous of nordic bathrooms, the ability to just hose the entire room down is so effective 😍
Its not just Nordic countries, pretty sure all of europe has floor drains
Same
Not in Italy...
@@eEmm1not all Europe, I think it is also a lot of water use like that.😅
We need those kind of bathrooms here in the states 😫 please
As a librarian in the US, THANK YOU for returning the books! We don’t judge, we just want the books back!
As a Librarian in the UK I also cheered for this 🎉 I didn't think it was possible for Auri to be any more amazing but she surpassed herself again! 🌟💐🌟📖🌟
Greetings from polish librarian❤😂
Yup, return the books that's all we ask.
im not pleased knowing i might borrow books from such filthy homes tho 😭
You never know where it was before you. I lways clean them as much I can without damaging it before I read them.
It took me over 2 years to get people out of the house I inherited from my aunt. Her housekeeper and husband filed fraudulent paperwork saying that my aunt gave it to them. They were arrested for theft of the house and were still living in the house after bailing out of jail. Unfortunately I live 1,000 miles away. After hiring an attorney and making several trips to my aunt's house they were finally evicted. They both skipped their court dates and still have warrants out for their arrest 3 years after they were evicted. Quite the nightmare, but everything worked out in the end without too much damage to the house.
Oh wow! How big was the house to require a housekeeper?
@@mrsducky3428 About 2,000 square feet. The last few years, as my aunt was getting older and unwell, she hired a housekeeper to help her out.
Size doesn’t matter… I have a small apartment and have a housekeeper
OMG... that's aweful! 🥺

Evictions in the US are crazy hard.
As someone who was a child and lived through this situation many times, know that these people have a similar problem as hoarders. I can remember my parents destroying an apt, us packing a backpack of clothes one day, and moving to a new apt with nothing. Over and over and over. It's devastating to the children. I'm so sorry Sally went through this as the landlord. I hope these people get help.
Why not bring more of your things with you? I’m sorry you went through that. That’s awful.
@@loveshell6945 - We stayed until the police came and kicked us out. As a kid, we had no clue what was happening until it was too late and couldn't take anything with us. These people have a mental disorder, or something. There is something wrong with how they think. My parents were the same way.
@@loveshell6945 No time + if they're hoarders they're not going to sort through all their trashes
I was always wondering. Are you able to explain a little more what’s behind this behavior? Why are they not getting help? I do have depression but I somehow always get to a point when enough is enough and I can get myself back to mental strength again and start tidying up again and then cleaning. But why the moving?
@@GraceandVanity- We'd get kicked out from complaints, non-payment, or violating the lease, from what I remember. This is a mental disorder like hoarding - there's something wrong with these people. I don't understand it much myself; I moved out when I turned 18 and never looked back, and both of my parents are gone now. But the mental aspect of "Oh well, we'll just start over again I guess." ... I heard that so many times as for not getting help - we were poor with no insurance in the USA. That basically meant we were on our own for everything.
In Korea landlords send messages like" I am coming tomorrow to see the place" and you can't say no. It is not unheard of like them to come to check the condition of the place they rented. And even where I live now I know people that someone from the letting agencies will come at an agreed time and day to look around the place to make sure it's clean and nothing is damaged ( part of the contract, like it or not).
I'm so happy that this is not allowed in my country and they can only demand to come inside, with 7 days notice, if some kind of work needs to be done in the appartment.
What happens if your landlord wants to check on the appartment tomorrow, but you aren't even at home?
The UK is the same. They have to give 24 hours but you can only refuse if the request is 'unreasonable' (as per the contract). Some landlords/agents will be kind enough to discuss a different time if you ask, but legally they don't have to as long as there is 24 hours' notice.
@@isaT Then arrange for a different time, it's that easy. Why don't you want landlords to check on the place that they OWN, to make sure it's in decent condition. I live in a country where people are known for destroying rentals, it's terrible. If you have nothing to hide, then let them come in for an inspection.
I live in a condo and I still have to let maintenance into my house. They give notice , but are not required to if there is something like a burst pipe, flooding, major leak, etc. If you refuse, the insurance company will not cover you and the condo can charge you for extra costs for refusal in an urgent situation.
In Finland landlords can do this too but I think she was just so overly kind she didn't do it. She should've done it after the first complaints. They are first expected to try and pick a time that is ok for the tenant. If tenant completely disapproves they can enter the apartment with police.
In California landlords have no real rights. They aren’t even allowed to call police if the tenants are doing something illegal
I like hearing the stories, and hearing which cleaning products work well together. And to be cautious of the products that do not work together also.
I hope if Sally rents out the apartment again, she gets references for whoever moves in, visits the apartment once in a while, and check her bank account every month to make sure the rent is getting paid. You have to be more on top of your renters, you can't just hope for the best.
Absolutely. I'm sure she learned from this experience not necessarily to mistrust, but to verify.
The landlord can't enter the property for inspection in Finland and reference is also not really a thing here.
@@llaiyaz They can't inspect the property? Ever? Even with advance notice??
So sad that the best motto in our current world seems to be "Trust no one and never be disappointed". I sure hope that changes...
@@jarrodbarkley9061 They do have the right to scheduled inspections. However, I have never in any of my rented apartments in 10+ years had any inspections other than the final inspection after moving out. It's honestly weird how landlords are content with just moving in/out inspections. I sure wouldn't be. In some cases even home insurance wasn't mandatory. That's a lot of faith put into a tenant.
I use scrub daddy and scrub mommy thanks to you. But now I have a hard time finding them! You taught me that if I'm using hot water, they are soft. And if I use cold water they stay hard. I appreciate the knowledge you gave me! Thank you !
I'm using them now, too! Faithfully!!
After time they make a lot of mess when they start to cramble. Mine didn't last for a month. I had both mommy and daddy. Definitely not worth the price:/
Where do you live? I’m Canada Canadian Tire is a good place to find them. Amazon is expensive but they have them . 😊
Scrub Daddy website has them. I’ve never had mine crumble on me.
Me too
It’s a shame that some people are just filth theirselves! And that’s the way they treat other’s & places that they live in.
Auri you’re a “good egg”!! 😊 💐
Personally I just love watching the change from dirty to super clean, it feels super satisfying
I enjoy the cleaning too but also like the stories behind the mess and what contributed to it. I also like hearing about Auri's life.
Yes, I also love watching her video ,and want to make videos like her, (cleaning with me guys)
I am from the Middle East, from a country where the weather is mild throughout the year, so the materials in which houses are built are different. We use oil paint because there is no moisture, and we use marble for floors. Therefore, when we clean the house for the annual cleaning, we remove all the furniture, turn off the electricity, use a long water hose directly, and use a sweeping brush with soap. We then open the windows to ventilate for an hour and that's it...I currently live in America and I miss that cleaning very much
That must be so satisfying!
Sally would benefit from requiring references from their previous landlords. This has helped us to choose the best tenets. Our leases run month to month, so if the partnership isn't a good fit for either party, only a 30-day notice is required.
Also inspecting the property regularly & putting that in the lease as well as consequences for not keeping the place in good condition
She sounds like a pretty awful landlord, TBH. Ignoring constant complaints, avoiding any responsibility for her property, not realizing that rent wasn't being paid...
Or she could just sell the apartment since she doesn’t need it..
@@blackisntdarkenoughI don't think she was awful. It was her first time being a landlord and she trusted the wrong people. If she decides to do it again, a background check and credit check would benefit her.
In Finland a long term month to month contract would not be legal from the landlord side. But many other things she could have done better.
Cleaning is such an emotional activity. There are so many stories that a house tells you. Thanks Aurikatariina for putting so much emotions in every episode ❤ and telling us about the history of each house.
Happy birthday Auri!❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎂
The one thing i love about 2-part videos, is that we can see more in-detail work, with less need to speed up ⏩ the video playback. I love when it's just a little sped up but not super fast and you can see more of the nitty gritty (as we say in the U.S. lol) ❤
My children and I love watching you clean. Not only does it help them recognize when it's time to clean (and that it can be fun) but you've also taught all of us how to properly clean our home. Thank you.
What a unique way of empowering people Auri... encouraging people to talk about their secrets and providing them with a new, clean start
Auri, I just want to say how much I enjoy your videos and how they inspire me to keep my home clean every week! Thank you for all you do. We love you ❤
Verdade amiga, eu também estou assim
Wow what a mess. So thankful that you were able to help Sally. Your friends face was priceless. She was a good sport with helping you. I like hearing the stories and getting tips for cleaning.
It's a process to evict someone here in my state as well. I'm in the USA.
God bless you and keep you. 💖🫂🦋
In America, each state has different rules & laws regarding tenants.
I took my tenant to court to evict. The judge gave him 30 days to leave, since there were no children. However, I had to replace all the broken windows myself! Your Oregon Viewer USA.
Ugh that sucks😢
This is completely random and a month after this video came out but I'm an Oregon resident too. 😂
In Germany it's even worse. The tennants may stay even longer, depending on how long they have lived there before. I think it's up to a year. Of course there should be enough time for the tennants to look for something new, and it's not too bad for all participants when it is about "regular" tennants, but this policy also counts for these lets call them "destructive tennents", that leave you with a terrible mess, lot's of costs and mentally distressed because of financial problems, trouble with the neighbours and a long law struggle. A reason why lots of people don't rent out their Appartements anymore and rather sell them to large companies. This policy doesn't help with the general problem of having not enough flats in the cities. Thank you for helping, Aurikatharina!
I really enjoy hearing the person or families' personal story while seeing the cleaning. The human story really matters to me, and it makes the situation really relatable! Thank you for caring and wanting to share that very important human element with us, and all the good work you do, and your bright happy attitude!! Tk u.
I like hearing the stories! There are people who take advantage of inexperienced renters like Sally on purpose. This happened to my parents with their first renter. She smoked in the house, and never paid one cent of rent. Thankfully because she never paid rent, it was easy to kick her out before there was too much damage.
13:50 here in Italy is very difficult to evict someone. I personally struggled and had to fight to be able to evict a tenant who was not payng rent for almost 2 years. Every time we tried to evict her we had to pay for the bailiff, our lawyer, a doctor (because the tenant faked the symptoms of an illness, when she was perfectly fine), a locksmith, and call the police. And we had to try 3 times before the tenant agreed to leave the house (every time we had to spend a lot of money). I was so stressed and so angry. Then we had to sue the tenant to have back the rent money, but she still hasn't pay.
heads up for everyone: mix a good amount of laundry detergent in hot water and pour it into your toilet, let it stay put, wait overnight, scrub and wash your toilet next day, it will look like new. This method helps with many other dirty places and things too, as long as it's not made from sensitive materials (for example dont use this method on natural stone, wood or glas). As Auri has explained the more you let time do its work the better the result, just let stuff soak in detergent for as long as you can it will make cleaning much easier.
I did it for filter in kitchen ventilation 👍
Thank you! I'll try that.
Ohhhh I will try.
Or just use regular toilet cleaner and let it sit overnight. You’re cleaning a bowl that you shit and piss in. Why would you use less harsh cleaning product like laundry soap? People have some strange cleaning advice online. 😂
Edit: the person who reported me for saying “piss” and “shit” you might wanna grow some Testicles.
I agree. The steel daddy is very hard on most surfaces....thank goodness I have Barkeepers Friend to un-do the damage.
It is heartbreaking to know that someone has not looked after their rental home. It is unforgiveable that they didn't make regular payments to the owner too. How very sad. There are many people who would dearly love to have that flat, but because the owner has had a very bad experience, I doubt she will trust anyone new. You did a fabulous job of sorting and cleaning the home.☺
Happy Birthday Auri! Thank you for going the extra mile and returning the books and recycling what you can,
Thank you for recycling and returning the books🥹 What was your recycling experience like in Miami? We don’t have a robust recycling system in Florida like you all do in Europe 🥺
Auri, I live in the US, and renting has changed in the last 20 years, now it is all dependent on the lease agreement, and most leases are done by real estate or rental companies. We have a 3-day notice to vacate so they don't get months to do more damage, in 3 days if they haven't paid rent or moved the sheriff comes and puts locks on every entrance and what has left the tenants lose their belongings. I rent a house and have lived here for 19 years, my lease is outdated and I have not signed a new one since I moved in. I have an awesome landlord and if he wants he can come in and inspect the house.
Here in California, a neighbor owns several rental properties, and every time it takes 6 months to get the tenants out.
Every time these tenants that don't pay rent, destroy the property. This last one, it's about $40,000 worth of damage. Every window and door is broken. The privacy fence looks like someone took a sledge hammer to it. The doors and drawer fronts of the kitchen and bathroom cabinets are missing. But, you can see where the tenant was still using the drawers, because of the filth .
Holes in walls, broken floor tiles, even the garage door was twisted and broken. The house was almost completely full and grime every square inch like the house in this video.
Those tenants lived there 10 years. Rent was never raised that entire 10 years. $900 / mo for a 5 bedroom 3 bath 2 story home. Once he gets it repaired, the new tenants will pay $2,700.
At $900/month, they didn't pay rent. He gave the 3 day notice to pay or quit. They didn't pay. It took 6 months after the eviction notice had been filed with the courts for the courts to order the tenants out. And even at that point, the woman begged the judge for 3 more months, because she needed time to find a new place!
Auri! You helped out this woman who owned the apartment and she is likely so overwhelmed and everything you and your team did must have helped her feel so much better. Even returning items to be properly disposed of after, how kind of you! You went over and above for the owner and that is so so great to see you show her kindness after such a bad experience. You are a great person doing such important work for others!!! ❤
I like the whole video (everything including stories and tips). I am really here for the before and after. I’m here for the calmness and comfort i get of seeing something so dirty becoming clean. I love the makeover part of your videos. I find some kind of peace and happiness in it all.
I'm definitely here for both the cleaning and the stories!!
I love how you speak! You sound so cheerful and your accent is so cute!! You're wonderful Auri!! Thank you for your videos! I am always waiting for them xx
HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎂
Thank you, Auri, for helping this woman out. Our building had a landlord that rented several units to one criminal "mastermind". There were drug dealers, thieves, and houses of pros going on at all times of the day and night. It took the board, the police, the bylaw officers, lawyers, and politicians about 4 months to evict them and clean up the mess. The landlord was forced to sell and the units were bought by civilized people. We could've used a dozen Auri's!
Sounds like a movie! 😯
I enjoy watching your videos, Auri because you tell a bit about the place and the person you are helping and you tell us cleaning products and solutions that are effective. Plus it's enjoyable and inspiring to watch you clean. Thank you for what you do and for sharing with us 😊❤
I like how you use cleaning as a thearpy it’s so right 😊
I have been following you for about 1 1/2 yrs I love your cleaning tips and your stories behind cleaning and helping people you are a very impressive person and have a huge heart thank you for making the world a better place for all ❤
If no one ever says it. ❤Thank you
I love how you weave the story with the cleaning!
Wow, great transformation. The returned library books really warm my heart. I'm sure the library had given up on ever getting them back. Do libraries in Finland charge late fees? They do here. And if you never return the book, eventually they ask you to pay for it in full. Library fees can even go to debt collection. If your library books charge fees, I hope whoever borrowed the ones you returned gets amnesty.... and hopefully they aren't too dirty.
Those poor floors, though...I'm so glad I never got that type of flooring.
Yes, libraries do charge a late fee in Finland but in my library it has an upper limit which is pretty low (6 euros/item). Lost/damaged items need to be paid as well. And it also goes to collection if not paid.
You can remove black mold on silicon by using products like cilit bang for mold. Or you can use bleach but you need to fix it with a paper so it stays there for a longer time. Anyway cilit bang is an amazing product I totally recommend.
Thanks!
In Germany it takes a long time and a lot of money if you will evicted someone. And if they gone you can't smashed their things, you Had to gave them more time to took that, or it must storage. 🤨
No Auriii, YOU are the BEST and THANK YOU!!!👏👏👏
When you read the wall about family time and said “um..ok🤷🏼♀️” was the one time I laughed so hard. I’m not sure it was intention but your tone in that moment was just hilarious. I’m so happy you were able to help Sally. ❤
Honestly your voice is so beautiful and your spirit is so joyous. I love how you get excited about cleaning,I battle with depression and some medical issues so I know how hard it is to clean your house sometimes, continue doing an awesome job 🎉🎉
I like the cleaning tips and the stories ty for being you and posting these videos ❤
I too, love hearing the stories behind the cleanings. I imagine more people are learning how bad depression can be. I know it's hard to understand the extreme situations it creates. The people themselves don't really understand why it's happening. Often, all they can remember is how it was clean, and then how it is piled/dirty. They can't remember building the 'walls' of stuff, or beginning to throw stuff down. I hope 'normal' people can realize as you've said, that no one wants to live that way. They just feel unable to clear and clean it up. Those feelings and frustration then make the depression even worse.
I love what you do, and your knowledge and attitude about everything. God bless you!!
Happy belated birthday!!
Yes, walls!!! And there's comfort in it! My best friend is allowing me to declutter her home -- I'm starting to understand her anxiety, etc
Benzoyl peroxide 1O% acne cream, left on for a few days, then the silicone caulk cleaned with white vinegar, then treated again with benzoyl peroxide can get rid of most if not all black mold in the silicone.
What gets me is stuff like the kitchen cabinet doors. They must live like animals to break those.
Like somebody else said, in the USA if you haven't paid by the late date, you get an eviction notice immediately. A friend of mine put his rent check in the apartment office mailbox. He didn't know that the mailbox was broken and the office never looked there. He found an eviction notice on his door in 5 days. He went to the office and the mailman helped get his check out of the mailbox. He always paid in person after that. This was about 35 years ago.
Love the scrub daddy products! They work so much better than other scrubbers. Thank you or sharing the tips how to use them efficiently.
they work just the same, it's called marketing...
@@fjklfdasdf IMHO, they're not just like other sponges. They're stronger, more abrasive (in a non-damaging way) especially when cold, and they can be washed in the dishwasher, and last much longer than ordinary sponges.
Thanks for recycling and bringing the books back to the library ❤
We appreciate everything you do…🌸
You motivated me to become a clean freak lol…love ya😘
Same here! Cleaning made me feel better inside me. Obsessed clean house. But not ocd over-cleaning 😹😻💗
I'm watching this trying to motivate myself to do some laundry. My cat has been ill, and has made some messes on my rugs, so they need to go in the wash. This means I'll have to stay up longer than I want, so I'll watch your video in the meantime!
A pretty nice way to pass the time! Wishing that your cat feels better and you get good sleep.
Oh Auri, thank you for trying to recycle what you can! It'd be great if things could be resold or donated if they were in good condition but I know how time consuming that would be. Thank you for doing what extra you can.
Honestly I love all parts. I like having different things, like a good meal, a little bit of everything, some cleaning, some cleaning tips, some stories from yourelf or the people you help.
Both please! Love the cleaning tips and the stories behind the people brave enough to ask for help. 🧡
So very nice to see you returning the library books, and recycling the printer..❤what a lovely job! How very sad whatever happened to have caused this.

Auri hello from Florida! I have removed black dots from silicone. You can utube it. Use toilet paper and take pieces and lightly spray with bleach cleaner. You stuff it into the edges on top of silicone once done spray more bleach then leave for 4 hours. When I removed toilet paper it took 99% of the dots.
Thanks will try ❤

you can remove black dots from silicone. you add toilet paper on it, then you wet it with water mixed with chlorine and you leave it for a day. then most is gone, if not you repeat it.
Thanks for the tip, I'll try that on my windows!
The red thing may be Feng Shui. Drains are considered bad for Qi and one way to keep it from leaking is to tie a red cord around a pipe.
But that doesn’t do much if the place is filthy!!!! Being tidy and clean is the best Feng Shui.

Such a great job Auri!!! And lot's of luck to Sally. I love to hear the stories about these apartments. I hope that you continue to tell us these stories.
I really enjoy hearing the stories behind the homes conditions. :)
so Sally didn't care about neighbors complain as long as she got money for the rent. and after she let this problems grow because of her careless commercialism - she asked for free cleaning!) very clever.
Thought the same. Only feel sorry for neighbours in this situation! 😊
Cleaning without you telling story wouldn't be the same! ❤
Auri you are the best! You are such a sweet caring person the world needs more people to be like you!!❤😊🥰
No, YOU are the best!!! I love the combination of your sympathetic storytelling, 'cleaning science' and advice mixed with just heaps of love and energy 🧼🧽🚿🪞✨🤸♀️
I hope they use sugar soap on the walls before it's repainted because the nicotine with slowly seep thru the paint and smell again
In the US, we would use TSP (trisodium phosphate) to clean the surfaces, or cover with an oil or shellac primer.
You are the best. Amazing transformation.
You are such a hero for so many people. Keep doing what you do. I really enjoy your videos!
I just know Sally was so glad you came!!So good!!!❤Best wishes!!😊I love you, too!!
We are all walking each other Home. God bless you and your family
Happy belated birthday 🥳 you are amazing 🤩 love you 🥰
I was so happy to see you return those library books. Greetings from Canada. Thank you for all that you do!
Great job Auri and best friend, always more fun with a friend. Glad the tenants were finally put out. Thank you for this video.🙂
Unfortunately, in America, there are rights called Squatter's Rights.
If a stranger is in your home for certain amount of time while you're gone, they don't have to leave. They can even keep the owner out.
Squatter's Rights need to go.
It's ridiculous.
Its hard to evict in America too. Some people just break into homes and move in, falsifying rental agreements. You cannot get them out.
I love the why, the story of the people, and how their lives have come to this. I've also used a few of your cleaning tips. If you ever come to New Zealand I'll help you clean 😊
O produto cif , limpa muito bem
Was that a gun under the sofa? HA eviction in UK even harder. 3.5 years we put up with serious antisocial behaviour from a tenant, including severing the mains gas pipe and nearly blowing us all to kingdom come, using house as a drug factory and fence for stolen goods, wild parties every single day lasting days, fighting outside, ...you name it. In the end she never did get evicted but left of her own accord. The place was trashed.
