- After pausing for 4 months, I thought another chopper gameplay was in order. Finishing 84-1 while seatswitching on Golmud Railway ... not too shabby.

You were able to do so well only because AA was sleeping. Good AA drivers would not allow you to fly any higher than 20 meters.
+Rauan Mukhamejanov | This is "Conquest Small" gamemode. Enemy mobile AA wasn't sleeping because there simply is none.
+TurboPummel oh okay. Still, there are usually lots of engineers with Stingers or Igla. Two shots and helicopter goes down. Maybe I just played against noob heli drivers, but Stinger usually helps to drive them away from my tank.
+Rauan Mukhamejanov The video is pre-fall update if you didn't realize this. Stingers weren't buffed yet. It was much easier to dominate in the air and it also depends a ton on your team and level of opposition.
+Rauan Mukhamejanov No joke, dude got locked onto maybe twice the entire video? Anytime I get in any aircraft its a constant lock on fest from the moment I take off. I spend more time evading, going low, and hiding then I do hunting armor and infantry.

TurboPummel There was a guy on Golmud Railway on the PS4 seat switching on the same side of spawn you were doing it. Except I shot him out of the air or disabled it with a tank shell from the far side of B flag, while it was high in the air near spawn. BTW bullshit a tank shell would "disable" a Helicopter, but I guess thats battlefield for yah. Also really nice gameplay!

Great flying. Whenever I see a pilot dominating I pull out the IGLA and just lock on to them. It always seems to make them change course and fly back. You don't even need to pull the trigger most of the time. They just turn and burn.. I will admit that I'll be trying this two seat fighting tonight.. lol

Rockman Games not at all. I use what the game has available to take down helis and still be able to run around and PTFO on the ground. Instead of trying to dogfight him down and waste half my game flying around. You have no clue what your talking about.
Never had that luck to play against bots who don't Fuck you up in the chopper... Wow that's historictly rare:)

TurboPummel mad skills man, howcum u changed to flares? Can u shed some light on the differences as after 500 hours I still do not know and I often get hit after my ecm's are deployed which is infuriating wen it's a stinger
+Kieran Goss ECMs role is to deter people from locking on and is actually meant to be used BEFORE the missile is fired. That's why when you deploy your ECM after the missile has been fired, it still follows the vehicle and orbits the vehicle once it reaches it which can sometimes result in a hit depending on how the vehicle is positioned. Flares are used to deter incoming lock on missiles and causes the missiles to divert towards the flares. ECM & Flares can do each other's job, but badly. People often opt for ECMs as the effect of the countermeasure is longer but so is the reload time. I use flares personally, but if you're very close to the person firing stingers then neither will save you from receiving a mobility hit. Hope this helps.
shoulda used TOW missiles instead, just the most satisfying weapon to get tanks with, the sound of launching them the fact you can take out a tank in 2 seconds is just so good
Auxi Vigil I made the experience that using TOW's makes you much more vulnerable for SRAWs since you have to fly straight for a pretty long time to guide them.
So does seat switching to TV guided missiles lol you could try launching TOW's prior to aiming at ur target to save commitment time, try and go for that classic top down SRAW concept
Auxi Vigil Nah. I simply don't see a good risk/reward ratio in using TOWs. A tank can usually be killed with a well aimed pod magazine accompanied by a single TV missile shot. When I am seatswitching I got 2 TV missiles, 3 gun magazines + 3 zuni magazines to be used, so I am not running out of ammo at anytime anyway. I am not eager to give up the most reliable weapon against good jet-pilots (heatseekers) to replace them with 2 more air-to-ground missiles that fly at half the speed TV missiles do.
When you got a good heli gunner with you that has a reliable TV-missile aim on enemy helis you can think about using TOW's on Shanghai, but that's about it. They aren't gonna make a difference anyway. If you make sure to always use them both when they are reloaded, you could gain 2 kills every 90 seconds tops. Considering you will have a 100% hit accuracy - that's unrealistic of course, more likely something like 20-30% in the end. Means you are carrying TOWs to collect round about 2 kills 4-5 minutes with them. Of course they limit your flying paths when aiming at the same time, since you have to keep a direct line of sight to the target. That's not really worth the effort to me.
I would be more thrilled to replace heatseekers with hydras to carry zunis + hydra pods in the end.
Yeah ok I can see your logic there, your a seat switcher I play console and seat switching rapidly seems to be laggy so I always end up in the wrong seat, but your right I wasn't taking into account the fact you have tv's to use instead
***** In my opinion the TOW missile is for show and only has any effect on shanghai and dawnbreaker as they are close range maps. There is no advantage to using them on any other maps as a good gunner will hit tvs and combine that with zunis and you can take a tank out in 2s (5s max unless the tv goes through the ground,dusts, bounces off the tank or the pilot hits the tv with a zuni) across the map. Also ,like mentioned, it limits the flight path which can also severely limit the capability of the gunner. We get called noobs a lot for using heatseekers as most people, who are very bad, think that only noobs use them but there is a reason that we survive longer, we have heatseekers so when a jet or scout heli go for us we aren't screwed everytime. Simply put, only noobs, with the exception of some, use TOWs.

What Can I do against AA ?... Everytime I Play the Viper, i get Killed in seconds
I usually sneak up behind an AA and use my TOW missile +Zunis at the same time. This should take away most of its health almost instantly.
You can then finish it off however you want. I usually switch to TV missile since they tend to use active protection after that and TVs go through them.
+PkmmteXeleon only noob AA drivers will allow this. I personally have thermal monitor and active rockets, so helicopters just go down as soon as they take off. SU-25 or Q-5-Fantan is the one responsible for taking down AAs.
+TheTripodArmy not unkillable . Played couple of times against two really skillful SU-25 and Jet drivers. Could not do shit, just goes on high altitude and then falls down vertically in that way that you can't properly aim and can't move because you are getting damaged. SU-25 shoots and keeps passive radar on you and done, AA down.

For instant full controll. If u switch from gunner to pilot, engine needs time for full power. But if u switch to pilot/gunner/pilot, ur eninge is instant ready.

Yea, when the enemy team has no air support whatsoever, this isn't hard to do. You wouldn't be able to freely roam the map and kill things, if someone on the other side could use their mobile AA or jet. So some of this is skill but a bigger part is circumstance and luck.
I dont play BF4, so maybe im missing something but it seems like no one is really attacking you. Your aim looks ok i guess but otherwise from that this looks kinda easy.

You were straight up allowed to do this. Play on the server that I do.....and people will hunt you down. Whole squads will come after you with stingers. This isn't that impressive. You are a great pilot, but these players are CRAP.

3r13n0 Sadly, there were no BF4 competitve events worth putting the time into from the beginning. From the start it were only like 10 serious teams all over Europe. That's not really worth it.
TurboPummel bnl is not competitive?
Dimkoss11 Division 1 is - meaning 5 teams. And that's everything there is and was since February 2014.
BF3 had ESL Cups, Ladders + EAS / EPS leagues with more than 30 paricipating teams, Clanbase Cups + EU Ladder, LevelBF Events, 4Players Cups ....
