As a crazy cat lady....yeah, but like you, I'll have to wait to see the final forms. I loved Litten, but never evolved it ...the buffed Garfield was hilarious...LOL! Honestly though, the last time I thought a grass starter was actually cute...and a lot of people hate on it...was Chikorita.)
I'm still deciding between Sprigatito and Quaxly. I think they're both adorable, but in different ways, so I'm going to wait for the final evolutions to decide. I love Fuecoco as well, and I think it's a great design with a lot of potential for a cool final form, but I just don't think it's super me
I think I'll go for the water starter. I'm going to avoid looking their evolution in order not to change my mind last minute. I want to surprise myself I guess

What types do you think the starters will be when they evolve? If they get secondary typings I think Sprigatito will be Grass/Fairy, Fuecoco will be Fire/Poison, and Quaxly will be Water/Flying
My favourite Starter Pokemon so far from the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is Sprigatito and hoping in the next trailer in either October or November that we'll get to see Sprigatito's evolution form design as I'm expecting that it will be very impressive like Snivy/Fenniken's/ Popplio evolution form.

When I saw Fuecoco for the first time it made me think of a red coloured version of Grisu - a little dragon from a children's series who wants to become a fireman. Lol Just because of that it might become my first starter in these games. Though it all still depends on how their evolutions will look like. This might then become the first time ever that I start a new game, with completely new starter Pokemon, and don't pick the grass starter for my first playthrough.

Feucoco looks like a skull? I really don't see it. All I see is a sliced apple. If Fuecoco was not starter, it could be the fire grass baked apple pokemon but I think those apple dragons in Sword/Shield already claimed the baked apple title
I feel like their designs look kinda boring and makes me think it's not actual pokemon and just something fangame, which is pretty sad, since the galar starters still look like pokemon (at least grokey in my opinion)
I found when playing early Gen games I would choose the starter base on its finale form. So its hard for me to decide. Grass because he is cute but usually fire has a wicked evolution.
1:12 I did mention that there were a lot of other cat Pokemon too. I was just saying we already have 2 other Duck/Water Pokemon and Sprigatito is the only Cat/Grass Pokemon (I think? Unless you count Leafeon as a cat I guess.) But I still think they're all awesome!

They just don’t seem super Interesting to me. I think they should stop taking real life animals and giving them an elemental theme. Maybe make an original creature or something? Or maybe starters that aren’t grass fire or water? That could be a cool shakeup
