Waking up on a deflated air mattress is about the saddest thing a human can experience, LOL
dude this made me laugh 😂😂
😂😂 I get mad at my sister for not waking me up early so I end up waking up in the floor
🤣 honestly. I contemplated what I was doing with life. Even though I’m just waiting for my mattress to be shipped
Like seriously Im waiting to buy a new bed for my new apartment in a couple of months and its stressful seeing the holes man😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You don't know how much of a life saver you are. I'm sleeping on an air mattress, until I have enough money to get the bed I want, since I threw out my old bed. Thanks so much!
Your welcome! I'm glad it helped!
Thanks for watching!
Joe Robinson Do you also do little Chemistry experiments on your channel? If not that would be amazing if you would!
I used this product and was very satisfied. You can get from this link: amzn.to/2ZduAfs
Bed wetter lol
We can fly a man to the moon, but we can't make an air mattress that lasts.
But people won't have a job
Pea Innerbuht Can’t even do that 🤷🏾♀️🤐
nobody ever went to the moon don't be a fool :D
They can! They just won´t , need need us to keep buying them
😂😂😂😂😂
That man who was honest and talked you out of buying a pool kit was the real MVP
Flat on the floor has been my life lately, thank you for the advice
lmao. me too currently

That’s about where we’re heading 😩
I did this yesterday on a mattress that looks just like the one in the video. My pin-hole was on the top right where it dips in (located at the point of a "v"). $2.00 from Walmart and my $50-$60 mattress stayed up all night with two people and one dog sleeping on it. I used fine sandpaper instead of the metal scraper in the kit to remove the fuzzy stuff. Thanks and sharing on FB.
+Vivian H I'm glad it worked out! Thanks for watching and for sharing on Facebook! I really appreciate it!
You fixed my mattress.. I have a similar but lower end one... same pump and outlet so I'm thinking same brand but I bought the exact same patch kit.. and am now laying on it completely comfortable. Thank you again.. I clicked all adds for you
Several nights of "sleeping" like a human taco and finally find something that should help. Will try it out.
Lmao 🤣🌮
😩😂😂😂
This brings back the days of repairing my bicycle tires on my bicycle with the banana seat!
I’m ordering the kit now for my air mattress. Thanks!
Ah, the good old days, lol. Hope it worked for you!
woke up in a v-shape will be doing this tomorrow. thanks for the advice.
Hope it helped! Thanks for watching!
it work wonderfully....
Joe Robinson Thank you so much going camping soon and I really didn't want to buy another air mattress I went to Academy brought it I just finished my wife and I both layed down listen and felt for air and nothing it worked !!!!!!
Same lol
😂😂😂😂😂
Trying this right now. My Walmart didn't have it on sale.
Paid about $6 for the patch kit, it didn't come with sandpaper it was More like a cheese grader. And it made my hold even bigger especially when the hole is right on the crease. So far so good. Keep you posted tomorrow when I sleep on it lol
At first it worked like a charm afterwards the hole streached because it's on the crack. Lucky I had 2 more patch that came with it. But it failed. I just bought flex tape from as you seen on tv. Hopefully it'll work.
@@THEREALDNGUYEN l tried the Flex Tape repair .It didn't work. couldn't handle the air pressure when weight was applied.
I recommend the glue E6000, available in grocery stores, drug stores, Walmart, craft stores, hardware stores. BIG ADVANTAGES: E6000 patches holes in seams while bicycle tube patches cannot - and - You can use the E6000 for many other repair jobs.
Thank you so much for your recommendation! I have a hole in my air mattress and I’ve only had it for about 4 months. I tried duck tape and to no avail, that didn’t work. I’ve looked on Amazon but couldn’t wait for shipping and needed something STAT! I’m literally in Target right now with every glue you can think of, including E6000 lol! You helped me make my decision! E6000 it is!
Does a hot glue gun stick work as well?
Shoe Goo also works great, especially if the hole is in a seam. Easy peasy! Also, it allows you to do it without removing the fuzz, and it's a little more discrete.
Hey, that's a great tip!
The wet hand!
I checked the bottom of my leaky mattress 3 times (soapy water) because it would be such a pain to wait for the fuzzy stuff to dry. (my only bed is my air mattress). (Also, the bottom is the mostly likely place) I checked the sides with soapy water - twice. So the leak had to be on the fuzzy side.
I resigned myself to soaking the fuzz - then I saw your tip on holding the wet hand over the seams and I found the leak in a couple of minutes!
oh, thank's so much!!
No need to use spray bottle and water. The noise is loud with a leak, put ear to mattress and start locating. I found a tiny pin hole in about 30 seconds from listening and then you can feel it too.
When you apply the glue on the surface, make sure you let it dry for about 7- 10 minutes before apply the patch. Put pressure on the patch for a short time after that.
90% effective.
I used this product and was very satisfied. You can get from this link: amzn.to/2ZduAfs
Find the hole/s draw a small circle around it/them with a permanent marker. Deflate the mattress. Heat up the tip of the glue stick with a lighter and press it on the hole/s. Let dry and inflate the mattress. Sleep well.
That's a good idea, I'll have to try that.
Could this work with a hot glue gun?
@@mari-xg6wp I was wondering the same. I wouldn't see why not.
Better than glue & patch? Should then felt area be sanded as well?
Doesn’t work
Thank you so much! This saved me from having to purchase another expensive air mattress.
I use air beds all the time and this is great! Thanks for paying it forward, like the guy who helped you.
Glad you found it helpful, thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for posting this. I bought the kit for $2.49. Found two holes and they are now fixed. Thank you !

Thanks very helpful...my hole is in that exact same spot .......I was tempted to toss my air bed but this helped a lot

Worked like a charm! The patch supplied with the bed didn't work well, since my hole was in one of the seems.
LeoLionxyzed same here!!
I just use a can of pvc cement found in the plumbing section of a hardware store usually about $5. So what you gotta do is rub a little of the liquid pvc with a flat screwdriver on the hole, blow on it for 2min, you can use a fan too...wait about 30mins and your good to go (fixed). Also make sure the air mattress or other pvc floaties are deflated before using pvc cement to repair them...thanks :)

had a nice blow up mattress to use temporarily until we moved our stuff unto our bedroom. it kept deflating on me and I found the tiny hole. Hopefully can fix this with your advice! Thanks for sharing.
+Ashley Sexton I hope it works out for you. Good luck and thanks for watching!
Easiest way for me was to pour a little water in, inflate it with air, then shake it around. My experience though is that once the mattress starts developing leaks, it's toast. It will develop new leaks on a near daily basis.
This worked so well! Thank you for the $2 fix. You can find this at Lowe's too. Thank you for this video.
I’m so glad I found this video. Thanks 🙏. I wasted $15 on flex seal what a waste. Your patch from wallmart was perfecto!!! My guest thank you as well.
I was going to use that…thanks for the heads up lol.
Will try this today. Hope works because on mine the hole is on a corner.
Thank you so much bud!! I did not want to toss this nearly $50 intex air mattress when I knew there was a way it could be fixed!!! Going to do this tomorrow!
Hope it worked out for you!
I couldn't find the same kit you did, but did use a different bike kit to help (I think Slime is the name of the brand and they call they product Skabs, lol). It did cost about $2 and was about the size of a Tic Tac box. In it was six circular patches, a tool to roughen the area you would apply the patch, and a tiny instruction booklet (though they are printed on the back already). No glue came with my kit.
What I did was used some Loctite Vinyl, Fabric and Plastic glue which actually had a picture of an air mattress on the front, giving me some confidence. The glue dries clear and isn't sticky once it sets. I already have some sheets of real sand paper so I had used that in a previous patching attempt to sand down the spot around the hole (mine was also on the top of the mattress). The one in the bike kit I'm assuming would work the same way, though their roughner was a sort of silver coin. The glue says to place it over the edges of the tear, then hold the edges together with tape. The hole in the bed was too tiny for that so I put the glue on, then used the circular sticker patch for the bike and put that on as well. The glue said to allow at least two hours to set, so I did.
That night, I still lost quite a bit of air, but I wasn't a complete taco when I woke up, lol. I'd call it a mild success. Yesterday, I placed some of the glue right over the sticker and used a Q-tip to spread it over the edges, so it was then adhered both from the top and bottom and let it sit throughout my work shift. I lost a bit of air still but honestly, that's probably normal air loss as you will need to fill an air mattress every other day or so once the stretching period has passed (and I've been using mine for a month). The bed still had a lot of air, much more than the first attempt.
Oh my goodness, it felt so good to wake up on an inflated bed again! I would never have thought of a bike patch, so thank you! This morning at long last, I was able to place the order for my new bed, but I still have a week to go for delivery. I've slept on the floor a total of two weeks (one week before getting the air bed and then a week when patching failed and I had no more money to try something new). So, that's what I'd recommend to anyone who can't find the bike kit with its own glue (I went to Walmart). Get the Loctite glue I mentioned and the tube/bike tire patches, sand the spot down (and I'd recommend circling the hole with a pen so should your patch fail or you just need to apply it again, you can find the hole easier), glue the area, then put a patch on. I'd recommend letting that sit and adhere first, then put a coating over the entire sticker to further seal it. Hope this helps someone as well :)
Thanks for sharing!
I have repaired many small holes on these kind of matresses just using quality duct tape. Works perfectly.
Good to know!
Peter H what brand of duct tap did you use and what is the teps of repair ?
I fixed one at 4am when my ridgeback jumped on it .. bit of black electric tape as a patch and super glue . This worked a treat..

I use our air mattress often because I snore and then the other day I noticed I was on the floor the next morning. I will have to give this fix a try. I'll have to sand down the felt a little like you did. I also have two small holes.
Hope it works!
Jake Sims
Thank you for the great tips😎😎😎
Omg that you soooo much!! Your simple video was straight and to the point and helped me fix my aero bed for 1.96$. Worked like a charm!! Saved me a bunch of money!! I was sooo sad that I thought I lost my favorite mattress.
Bicycle inner tube patch did not work for me more than a few days. But what did work for me was clear silicone. I pushed it into the puncture with a spreader and applied the glue far beyond the puncture creating a patch. Let dry. Applied four more coats. The patch held and the silicone expands and contracts with the mattress. But these things are constantly leaking for one reason or another. I once had one 10 years ago that had no problems. I gave it away. When I got a real matress
Great job thanks!!
Same bed i got....i got 3 holes right next to eachother. Tried tape n vaseline....takes it a long time to lose air but it does
Where can I get that bed
Thank u some much so far so good stay safe and blessed
Life saver!!! Thanks for video
Thank you l am going to try that silicone sealer isn't working.
I have the exact same air mattress and mine also leaks in the same area. Turns out when I put it away folding it up .. something on the backside of the motor rips through the vinyl
what about if the hole was on the the airbed where you lay..is that still fixable..
will that glue work on vinyl? especially on inflatable pool?
what kind of adhesive was in the kit caused I tried and it didn't work
I know all about the bike patch but did it work that's what I want to know

Gorilla glue tape works perfect!! I'm a big girl so I need something that would hold the weight. Works perfect
Even if it's on the seem of the air mattress?
This what I was looking for 🤓
@@giabrooks2717 gorilla tape on the seem failed me miserably... I had to maneuver a piece on the inside and tape it facing away from the whole

c p did it work?
Can't find leak? Fill 50% w/water & add air to normal expansion. Rotate so water reaches all sides & then look for the obvious. Worked for me after trying soapy water, blowing smoke into it. My next step was gonna be A/C leak detector dye.
Many thank yous, i will try it out. and if it works i wil love you for ever

do you think this will work on the suede/cloth side of the mattress? Like on the material side where you lay ?

that doesn't work 'i tried that several times and just started leaking around the edges of the patch
Thanks😇
What the patch kit you bought
This was an epic fail for me. The patch would not stick.any other suggestions s?
Spray soap water on the patch after it dries to check if your patch worked correctly. no bubbles means it worked.
Always so the results, makes a better video
yes I have a hole in my airbed as well, my hole is located on the side of my airbed which has vinyl material. However I purposely punctured the hole myself, sorry. So Thank you for letting me know that I can use the "Tire Repair Kit" or "Bicycle Tire Patch Kit" for my Airbed.
Miriam Shelton I've taken a q-tip dipped it I some melted candle wax and plugged the hole with that. Doesn't take long to dry and while I haven't needed it you could always add a piece of duct tape to the new plug for good measure. It's odd but I swear it works and it's things most of us already have at home! Lol
