- As the days lengthen and we begin to run out of the cold, dark days of winter, so too do we begin to run out of time. As spring approaches, our last chance to find that leviathan draws ever closer.
Not to be daunted, we take a couple more chances to improve our luck and have a day on the bank, quickly followed by a day afloat on the legendary Lake of Menteith.
Surely if any venue is going to throw up a 25lb+ Pike it’ll be here.

Absolute magic. Thanks for sharing. Well done Alex for landing these remarkable specimens, and although Big G hasn't had the chance to land one of them, you two work as a team. Gordon's due credit for his part in the planning, preparation and memory making. Well done both. G, there were days on the Nith when the boot was on the other foot, your time will come, probably when you least expect it! Tight Lines guys, your film making is much appreciated.

Yes mate, 2 days on the deads, usually November/March

Where you based? Near Glasgow the angling centre near the Loch, the tourist information centre in Balloch has them aswell as a few of the shops
