Hey Guys. Twister: Ride it out at Universal was my favourite ride at for the longest time. It’s wrapped up in 90’s nostalgia. Twister came out in 1996 alongside: Independence Day, Mission impossible, The Rock, Scream, From Dusk Till Dawn (Everybody be cool, YOU, Be cool), Trainspotting, Jerry Maguire and A Time to Kill. Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood. What a year for movies.
There are 6 tornados in the original Twister. Aside from the one at the beginning that killed Joe’s dad, I always remembered them in order from F1-F5 😆
Still have my VHS of the original. Twister never gets old. Thankyou for your reaction! "We got twins!" Reference to "We got sisters!" -Bill Paxton. ~Trained storm spotter.
I'm cool with country music vibes infiltrating. The framing and destruction look right. White tank top aesthetic returns. The reason for getting up close is compelling! The only thing I need is the score to return. The low crawling lurking storm notes. The adventurous heartland horns. Jacob, the original Top Gun never caught my attention but MAVERICK really ruled. Looking forward to Bill Paxston's ghost holding down Dorothy V to save the day
What if they make you think she's talking about losing her mom during a chase the whole time, but she really lost her dad, Bill... I just really want them to tie it to the original because I grew up loving the original. Maybe I'm the problem when it comes to too much nostalgia!😂
They've made it pretty clear this is a standalone sequel with very few ties to the original, including not even bringing back Helen Hunt for a small little cameo that she was willing to do for free AFAIK. So, unless they are specifically lying about the character and her name (which is Cooper on IMDB) which studios sometimes do - she's just a rando not related to Bill and Jo :(
I felt the first movie moved TOO slow. Things flying 200 miles per hour cannot be seen. A tanker truck hanging in midair and giving a gentle push to BIll's RAM is not plausible.

Definitely watching this, looks fun
Also Brandon Perea who played Angel in NOPE is in it, I'm stoked.
IMDB has Daisy listed as "Kate Cooper"
You guys gonna review and react to the INTERNATIONAL Twisters trailer?

As an Oklahoman if there was anyone who would shoot fireworks into a tornado it would be us!!!!
NOT MY FIRST TORNADEO
If it does well in the box office will we get more weather/disaster movies i.e. volcano, earthquake etc
the music is no Van Halen, more like Van Hagar
I enjoy the movie from the 90s but I don't see the point of this movie and I would be surprised if it does well.
