The beauty of SRW is that you can really start anywhere with these anime games. The OG one's along with alpha and Z are the only running stories that span games. You wanna start with V? Go for it. X, T, A, R, BX, J, hell, 30? Can be anywhere! My first game was Super robot wars OG 1 on GBA. Played that at summer camp job all summer and it was one of the only things keeping me sane

heard some rumor about some of the series being owned by TOEI and they didn't like it being released on steam... not sure.
Hopefully now that V Gundam has new sprites, they will hopefully remake D or make the rumoured D2 years back. They have majority of the assets from the series included in D on VTX and Z3. The only series they need to resprite are Daltanious and Megazone 23.

I was trying to do a second run of srw t last week but I just cannot progress, I'm really burned out from vxt..

I also have that Mazinkaizer model, but no that's not the one in the game. The model that 's in SRW30 is the Bandai HG "Mazinkaizer Infinitism" not Moderoid's Mazinkaizer. They're using the Infinitism designs. Yanno, like the models.
For those who didn't know, J-Dekker is basically Patlabor on steroids (oversimplified).
and this is just something i read on the internet, so not 100% sure, but apparently since TOEI owned the original super robot series (Majinger-z, great majinger, grendizer, and getter robo go, as well as gaiking and some others), it is getting harder for banpresto/bandai to get those into SRW. So they opted for the alternatives, which are shin getter series, majinger z infinity, and majinkaiser, which are all owned by Bandai-Sunrise.
So if that is true, I guess there is no hope for Grendizer, Gaiking, etc to make a come back. (unless they come to an agreement, like... if Grendizer appear, the other super robot gundan had to be in it too, and NO other.
It would make sense. Infinity to me is just as good as the original and getter robo is getter robo. Sad tho that grendizer may be lost. Unless they can somehow use the Infinity model like that did for mazinkaiser
I don't see that being the case with Grendizer since they added it to SRW DD, also if its a Toei issue Combattler V would fall into the same issue.

There won't be a shortage of zeta. It's in almost more than amuro and I'm so tired of them reusing it. There are so many other Gundam series out there it's just getting stale. Where's thunderbolt, war in the pocket, 8th ms team, like, there's so many other UC properties. I'm hype for RX-78, but zeta and Nu Gundam aren't getting used in my playthrough.
That being said, the series is amazing and I highly recommend!
@@WestTownHD I'm just joking I can see why your not interested in playing with it . But it's probably because it's a popular series but I will be checking them out at some point.
@@WestTownHD Yeah, Zeta and CCA have been in every mainline SRW game, it's really tiring (not to mention CCA almost always has its plot shoved in). Shin Getter could use a break as well, maybe give us Shin vs Neo Getter or New Getter again, since it's way too early for Arc.

Hyaku shiki kai is cool, but that's probably the only one I'll use from zeta.
The fact that Darling in the Franxx got ignored for Gridman was shocking.
Darling and the Franxx wasn't as popular. Heard nothing but bad things about it, whereas gridman was all around liked from what i hear
as it should be.
Darling in the franxx is not even a super robot anime and its more like a fanservice anime.

The box mazinkaiser you pulled up was the wrong module kit. Mazinkaisers cool and I would have preferred Grendizer
Maybe it'll have the other infinitism mech like getter dragon infinitism.

I'm probably gonna get it on steam! I was getting SD Gundam G generation cross rays on PS4 till the steam announcement for that. So I'm gonna have to go for steam to show em we want it in the west! I don't mind tho, I love steam!

I'm disappointed by the absence of Getter Arc! And the Huckbein 30 is ugly, that XXX on his totally ruin an otherwise excellent design.
I think it's way too early for Arc. Considering they haven't finished the show yet. It'll definitely be in the next one tho likely. I'm also not a fan of the main mech. Wish it was actually original

Well srw30 is kinda disappointed.. it's 30th anniversary it must be lit but too sad its not.
While I'm also disappointed at some things, like it being a UC only game and having a very mediocre Gundam lineup, I'm still excited to just play more and check out all the new debuts
