It's worth noting that the vulnerability debuff only takes effect DURING THE ENEMY'S TURN, which is to say when DoTs naturally proc. This ostensibly means that only naturally ticking DoTs will benefit from this vulnerability debuff, so you're not just going to be doing an additional 25% damage when Kafka procs BS dots with her skill for example. It might work such that on an elite/boss turn where they have 2 actions, ulting during the first attack will allow you to technically act during their turn, but this remains to be seen; I haven't seen anything concrete about that yet.

Does that count as 4 separate stack of dots for max effect of prisoner set or just one stack of dot, arcana, but considered as the 4 types?
Prisoner counts per separate DoT, not per Type. (for example 3 shocks can max out Prisoner). This per Type thing is only introduced by Black Swan. Arcana is already a windsheer, so the ULT makes it also BBS as well =]

Should I really pull for Kafka for BS team? I was betting on her 4* banner having either luka or sampo to get their detonation eidolons but sampo is in Sparkle's banner instead of BS :( (My Sampo is currently at E2) I'm already at 40 pity and I'm only pulling 100x on BS banner to save for Archeron and Adventurine next patch My reason for pulling BS is cuz I really like her ultimate and I wanted a wind dps that has a fresh new mechanic rather than the usual ones
Imo, black swan sig lc still has its benefits of having a cracked 4 star lc banner and being easier to obtain (lower pity and 75/25). Which is why I’m pulling for her sig lc instead.

Instead of you take into account the difficulty of farming. I think plannar ornaments are the biggest failure of this game. I've been playing since the premiere, but due to the difficulty (time-consuming and expensive) of farming sets, I only farm world 3 all the time. I have the impression that other sets are aimed at players who spend real money. Other sets are like "premium", which is not fair. To make matters worse, there is very little space for relics. 1500 slots are a joke. Genshin has something about 5K slots?
I personally stopped farming plannar ornaments for month, I use the stock piled craft materials to synthetically create all my ornaments LOL. World 3 is a good farm, World 7 and 8 are all good SUs. Genshin have 1.8k slots, but only after 3 years, they started out with 1000, even less than HSR
How does speed tuning work in a Kafka/BS team? Rn I have Kafka at 145 and BS at 143, which means that with Ruan Mei my BS might be able to go a bit faster than Kafka (but I haven't checked the decimals yet so it's likely my math is gonna be wrong lol). Is it fine if BS is slower than Kafka considering every other dot prefer to go before Kafka, or does it not matter at all? (I don't have PAYN so my spd is gonna stay the same). Also, what are your thoughts on Hyperspeed Kafka and 134 spd BS? I'm not sure if this team would have SP issues, but it would help with frontloading detonation which might be worth it? idk
in a perfect world I want BS to go before everyone, but it's not how it's going to happen. KAFKA and RM can tunnel vision and build alot of speed where BS have to build EHR too. The fact that Kafka's signature gives speed doesnt help either. So as long as BS goes before most enemies while staying above 134, that's good enough in my books.
I do all my spread sheet and calcs, I just don't bore people with math. Uptimes are taken into consideration, and proper taxes for conditional requirements are taken into account.

She can still have the normal wind sheer if she's the one that breaks toughness. But unless you have alot of breakeffect built, it's not worth paying too much attention to.

Solitary Healing actually is more efficient than energy regen, Just because BS is a crazy AOE unit. Single target heavy fights, it won't be that great, I'll admit.

If u wanna build DOT then yes. That’s the correct call. However do consider that sparkle, her lightcone and eidolons are some of the most cracked shit we have seen.
it's not groundbreaking, just an interesting offensive utility preservation units can bring. Gepard taunts so the lightcone is more consistent, but FX is okay
She'll apply 3 debuffs but only when her ult is up, unless you have resolution lightcone. If you use resolution she'll have Def down, Arcana, and cone def down on skill, which is neat. Still, I think there are much better units for him like Pela and Silverwolf that don't want DoT synergy. Pela is free next patch iirc with selector. If you like Swan by all means but I think you have better options meta-wise.
Will Kafka + BS + Sampo + any sustain or Kafka + BS + RM + any sustain be good with enemies with wind weaknesses? Still building our scampo since I love his character
You need to check enemies comp, in a single-target situation, Sampo could be slightly better than RM. But I can tell you that the coming MOCs are practically double boss, so Sampo break utility needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

E1 is more expensive than S1, but I still recommend to get E1, it's just that good.

Imo you might want to consider stepping up and farm World 8 instead, both relic imo are upgrades of World 3's

yes, only prefarm for boss mats, the traces are different. Hoyoverse made an announcement a while ago.

She'll apply 3 debuffs but only when her ult is up, unless you have resolution lightcone. If you use resolution she'll have Def down, Arcana, and cone def down on skill, which is neat. Still, I think there are much better units for him like Pela and Silverwolf that don't want DoT synergy. Pela is free next patch iirc with selector.
If you like Swan by all means but I think you have better options meta-wise.

an obvious downside is the imprisonment, it pushes back the turns, and DOTs get delayed

Will Kafka + BS + Sampo + any sustain or Kafka + BS + RM + any sustain be good with enemies with wind weaknesses? Still building our scampo since I love his character
You might have problems with skill points with the first setup, the second one is good yeah
You need to check enemies comp, in a single-target situation, Sampo could be slightly better than RM. But I can tell you that the coming MOCs are practically double boss, so Sampo break utility needs to be taken with a grain of salt.
Aside of that, RM gives too much to be taken out, I would not recommend it 😉
first of all, sampo E4 is really important.
Even with E4, RM is still superior.

if your other teams dont need FX then sure, she is solid everywhere. It's just a bit of waste for the crit buff =]

Well to start, use the resolution shines like pearls of sweat lightcone is pretty good.
Without Kafka sadly she doesnt work well. Her full potential only relizes with Kafka so if you into BS being strong you need Kafka
you're not wrong. But it hate it more when they lock a character's power behind eidolons. At least Kafka is cool =]
