I've said before, and everyone else is saying it in the comments as well. But it still warrants repetition. Your guides are simply the best coz you break down the kits in ways that are easy to understand. Small stuff like the situational examples of how Arcana interacts with different specifc DoTs is so helpful.

So, for anyone who plays genshin who doesn't fully understand the arcanana, essentially, Black Swan s like Nilou in the regards that she makes an an enhanced version of the elemental DOT that she applies, where she makes her own wind sheer, which also can be counted as every other DOT in the game
each time DOT damage is dealt, there's a chance she'll apply another one of her specially wind sheer damage, so you can proc more arcanana by dealing DOT damage
Her ultimate makes DOT stronger on enemies turn, and her skill decreases defense,

@@uhhsmile1746It depends on you as for me I pulled her without Kafka because I was saving for her you can swap Kafka with any DoT damage unit like Serval Sampo or Guinaifen
In my Case While pulling for BS I also pulled Guinaifen and Misha and I already have Bailu as a healer and Dr. Ratio as my dps
@@uhhsmile1746 i'm pretty happy with her because i got kafka on her rerun, and they work super well together (cleared yanqing simulated universe with BS at lv50 lol). it's just a question of if you enjoy dot playstyle/need a wind dps enough to outweigh your want for another upcoming character
I dont have Ruan mein or Huohuo but have Kafka and Blade. The should i get black swan?
i was not planning to pull for her but i lose the 5050 when pulling for e2 kafka, so here we are. thankfully i got her early and more power for kafka as well 💪 thank you for the guide, you really made it easier for me to understand her kit

Great vid.. the first part clarifying about the preference for variety of dot types really helped. Already been rocking Kafka's dot team few patches ago. I was contemplating if i needed to run Sampo and Black Swan together or i could opt for black swan only in Kafka's team
Started hsr recently for Black Swan and managed to pull her, tysm for the guide because it's defo one of the clearer vids!

really good guide . One thing I didn't see many people doing guides mention, however, is that if u have Loucha with Huo Huo sig LC, he makes the team way more versatile then running huo huo and if you have his e1 or if you didn't pull huo/don't want to Loucha is a nice and versatile alternative, esp in making the break more versatile, looking at enemy patterns( in terms of typing in a battle) I think it will also be important for the future as we are starting to see varied typing in the same battle, massively also reduces amount of thought needed for managing SP and still provides good buffs depending on eidolon and investment you have in loucha
16:38 I've been using Trend of the Universal Market on Fire MC to turn him into a pseudo-DoT unit for my Kafka teams for a while now. Interesting to see it's finally getting some love out here

Thanks, this helped! I thought her skill applied more stacks than her basic so I've been spamming that instead, that cleared that up. Also it's a neat trick to trigger ults during an enemies turn to take advantage of that buff
You cleared something no one else did that being her ultimate damage bonus applying to all attacks as long as its on thr enemy turn

I have really been enjoying my team with Black Swan + Kafka + Ratio. With her defense shred + dots making sure ratio is always following up it is a nice combo
I just want to add that when black swan uses her ult her dot changes from a wind shear type dot to a universal dot so luka and gwenaifen can detonate her dots for that one turn
Just got back to playing Star Rail. After watching this video, I can't believe I'm planning on rolling for Kafka and leveling up Sampo.
Won my 50 50(finally) at 70 pulls and tried my luck on the lightcone and got it on a one 10 pull🎉. Thanks for the detailed guide!

Just got her, and she's doing amazing with my Karka
I actually pulled her a while back, but haven't used her because I'm admittedly a Sampo main, and I didn't fully take the time to research her playstyle.
With Acheron around the corner, I have a renewed interest in going back through and learning more about some of the characters I have, so this has proven to be very helpful in determining if I need to build Black Swan... which it seems like is a good idea even though I don't have Kafka, Ruan Mei, or HuoHuo... XD

Thanks to this guide for not taking the low hanging fruit joke of 'tooltips too long to understand' and instead actually showcasing the interactions. The epiphany causing arcana to be triggered by Guinaifen ult has cemented my choice in using her as an offensive support in my Black Swan + Kafka dot team and use Pela for my Tingyun + Seele Hypercarry team. Though I may still use Asta in the dot team... just sucks that shes still only E1 for me ;_;

I love DoT teams. Just realised that it's my absolute favorite kind of team.
I already built Dr. Ratio but i always prefered attacking in multi-target style rather than single target.
Although i don't have jades nor ticket anymore, already spent everything on Imbibitor Lunae‘s banner - without getting him. Guess i‘ll farm more and the free daily tickets will help me (F2P BTW).
I got her and the E1 from 1 10 pull :) gonna love her with my E1 kafka lol
Can't wait to spend my first day or two in Penacony using all of my reserve trailblaze power to max out Black Swan to pair with my maxed Kafka~
Omg love this, my team will be Kafka, Black Swan, Asta and Lynx. My issue is with my Lynx and SP management, I have her in Bailu's Lightcone and E5 but she can't really sustain my team for longer fights since Kafka and Asta consume a lot of SP. But I think this time I will be fine since Black Swan is more SP positive unit compared to Sampo and Lynx is running the healer set which gives extra SP. I really wanna maximize my DoT teams.
basically she boosts a certain team archetype like nilou but black swan doesn't have any restrictions at all
