Aloha, Amanda & Felix...Love that you feature these types of businesses and that we get to watch the process. Such a coincidence as I was in Wahiawa last week at GREEN WORLD FARMS coffee. I must have passed there a million times, it is always filled with tourist, and I told myself this time that I am going to stop. They had some fantastic coffee too. So smooth. And no kidding I was thinking that Amanda & Felix should do a tour of this business type and then Wala...you present KAI COFFEE. Amazing. Great presentation and look forward to more. I drink coffee every day. Food for thought, how about doing an episode on TEDS BAKERY. Da pies are winnas. MAHALO!
We featured them awhile back but we think it might be time for a revisit! 👍it must be fate we did coffee! 😁 Mahalo always Rick! 🤙

Mahalo! 🤙
Loved this episode! Love my coffee and only purchase from roasters on the day it's roasted! The following day comes the best cup of coffee!
True coffee connoisseur! 👍🤙
@@AmandaFelixEats Interesting! I make my coffee the same way, pour over with just a simple paper filter and cellophane holder, if that's what he meant by pour over.
Very interested, I learned something today, lol. Thank you Amanda and Felix for sharing. Aloha and Ahui Hou Malama Pono
Mahalo Todd! 🤙
Love the Local Business behind the scenes videos. Please keep them coming! ☕☮
Wonderful video. I always wanted to know about coffee tastes, the roasting process and where they source their coffee bean. I wish I was coming to the island soon as I would like to check out this business. Mahalo!

Wow, it really makes you appreciate the time and work, not to mention the knowledge and experience, that goes into a cup of coffee!
I’ll have to visit the Kapahulu store.
Thanks for featuring Kai coffee! >^.^
Check them out! 🙏 Mahalo! 🤙
This was a GREAT VIDEO! I loved it! Please keep featuring local businesses on the island. Seeing how this coffee was made and prepared was super interesting!
What a fun field trip! Love how they collab syrups and other coffee blends. I need to try their coffee latte! Thank you so much! Love thess series! Amanda and Felix, my husband says you both look like you lost weight and you look good!!! I agree! Mahalo!💕
Mahalo! 🙏🤙
Loving the tours
Fantastic episode! I learned so much. Thank you!
(I found that Kai Coffee has an online presence. I can order some beans!).
That's awesome! 🤙
I love when you guys do behind the scenes/factory type videos. Gives us a glimpse into things we never would otherwise. My fave was the watercress farm tour. I’m from Pearl City so Aiea is also close to my heart. We pass by it so often but don’t think twice about its history. Just know it’s always been there. 😊
We love doing these series as well! Mahalo! 🤙
This was a great video and Sam explained coffee so well. I didn't know the Kai history and Honolulu Coffee was a fave back in the early 2000s, so glad to see Kai carries that on.
We LOVE Kai Coffee! Every time we’re on Oahu we get Kai at least every other day! I’m excited that you featured them!
This was so fun to watch ❤ Sam is so passionate and knowledgeable! I love the seeing local businesses. Great video Amanda and Felix!
Mahalo! 🤙
Yes please! More local business tours! LOVE IT
Went to Manoa Chocolate today. They do tastings
Awesome! 🤙
Hi Guys! My partner and I love your videos and look forward to seeing the latest videos pop up.
We especially love the behind the scenes on how things are made like this video and your Tofu video.
Keep up the great work as we look forward to your videos. P.S. We really love your bloopers at the end of the videos. DC in Gilbert
Mahalo! 🤙
Sorry, only got around to viewing this now, but I have to say WOW! I don't even drink coffee (I know, often wish I got into the habit!) and I found this fascinating. You can tell they really love their coffee and it was so cool listening to Sam share his knowledge. Loving these local businesses being featured and behind-the-scenes glimpses. I'm going to pick up a package of Kai coffee for the coffee lover in my life, just to give it a try!
I really like your series on local businesses (ie. tofu, crackers etc). They are very interesting and make you want to support all these businesses. I am one of your older subscribers (in my 70's) and I really like your approach in all your videos. Thank you for doing such a good job.
Mahalo for watching! 🤙
Awesome vlog Foodie Ohana !!! Love the sharing of Local Coffee Businesses !!! Time for Coffee ! Have a Great Day you two !!!
Mahalo Gail! 🤙

Ka'u Coffee!!
👍🤙
Wow I appreciate the hard work they put into making coffee
🙏🤙
Great video! My favorite is the peaberry…🤙🏾
👍🤙
Wow, so much involved, I love it! 😊👍
Coffee is healthy to the body.
Kona !☕
I still have iced coffee with a dessert as a midday snack sometimes ever since my trip to Kauai last year.
It was so nice to drive to Kauai Co just for an iced coffee.
I haven't been to Oahu yet but this place would be on my list.
Great video guys 👍👍
Mahalo! 🤙
Very fun episode!! I worked as a coffee roaster in Washington State for a few years after I graduated from college. I was pretty excited to see coffee growing in the Kona region a few years ago. Only the boss/owner was allowed to roast the Kona coffee cherries. It was a completely sensory experience. I always bring Hawaiian coffee home with me when I visit the islands. Indonesian coffees are also a favorite of mine as well as some of the Central American types.
Mahalo for watching! 🤙
Hello all the way from the UK. Love watching all your foodie episodes. We are visiting Oahu next month so will actually get to experience some of your amazing recommendations. As a massive coffee fan I’ve been really looking forward to trying some of your great coffees that we don’t get in England so I’ve loved watching this. Got a feeling I may need extra baggage for all the coffee I will want to bring back with me! 😊
Thanks for doing this! I’m going to have to try Kai Coffee when I return later in the year. I know some coffee people. I’ll forward to them for their information.
Mahalo! 🤙
Love the content Super Very Nice Video
Do they offer coffee tastings / tours of their process? I don't see it on their website
Unfortunately they don’t 😭 sorry!!
Great video loved it
Mahalo! 🤙
Keep up the great work! Keep making more videos about the local businesses! Next time I'm home, I'll be hitting Kai Coffee. BTW, how long have the been at the Kapahulu location?
Interesting! Now i understand why Kona coffee is blended.
👍🤙
Love this vlog. I’m retired from Starbucks and I always like trying different kinds of coffee from different brands. I will buy some of that Macadamia Nut syrup. Thanks!
Mahalo! 🤙
Any good low acidic coffee you heard of on the tour? Love coffee but my stomach doesn’t. Thank you for another amazing video! ❤☕️
Great episode Amanda , Alex . Been viewing your channel for a bit now .
Would Kai coffee have a decafe version . I love my coffee but my heart says no more caffeine for me . Which is a bummer . Great channel to watch , hoping to come to Oahu in March 2025 in Ko- Olina . Cheers guys!
That coffee tasting looked intense. Gotta check k them out.
Definitely give them a try! Their roast coffee is amazing! 🤙
Are you guys doing any other reviews within the next week. My wife is a huge fan and it would be nice to meet you and eat some good local food.
That slurping is little different than Japanese broth/noodle eating.
Slurping with a whistle 👍
🍍😎🤙🌴🥥🌺🌈
🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
I would like to try a $12 20 ounce pure Ka'u coffee.
Pour me 20 ounce tho, pls. 😉
Haha! That's a luxuriouscup of coffee! 🤙
