I see beauty and depth and artistic growth. I like the way this was shot. And I admire the rawness of her vocals against that guitar. I think it's brave. Painful. This is unlike anything she's done before. And I like a lot of the songs on this new album.

Real artist put out what they want to convey in a recording. If you think she needs to change her voice or make a dance record than maybe you just don't get her emotions in this song. When she wants to and feels more upbeat I'm sure she records it that way. Every song and album cant be the same if you record and write from your own feelings. Do you feel upbeat and cheerful every waking moment. I'm guessing not. Maybe, possibly a lot of the time but not every time all the time.
