Hi I used your video to help me to pair the thermostat and RF switch. The thermostat takes time to switch on and off which I think threw me previously. They successfully paired but the boiler wasn't kicking in. This has been the problem since the weekend but just now I increased the temperature like you did in the video and the boiler kicked in. Great! Thank you!
Life saver…!!!! We could not work out why the heating was pumping out yet the thermostat wasn’t calling for heat, couldn’t pair it with the RF switch or rest it and the booklet was useless! This solved our problem in about 30 seconds, wish we’d found it an hour ago!!! Thank you!
This is literally the 2nd time you've saved me!! Does it every time I change the batteries. You are meant to get 1min to change them without losing connection but it seems to.go within 20secs. Thanks again great video!
Thanks so much for this. I remember having to work it out every single time & guess channel number. I’ll now save lot of time watching this every year instead!
This was brilliant! I was despairing to ever understand the (tiny) instructions in the booklet. This made it completely clear - thank you very much for taking the time to make this video.
Bloody brilliant helpful video thanks so much. This did the trick when it lost the handshake after battery change. Heatmiser said at one time to me to use cheap batteries for longer life! Which batteries have you find last the longest out of interest?
Yep, you nailed it Richard, superb. I’ll ensure my clients to whom I recommended this system see your video. So much better than calling the manufacturers and going through the pairing procedure with them on the ‘phone which seems to take an age (although they are usually very nice about it).

have i understiid thiscorrectly. this stat will allow me to pair it using different RF channels? that's important for meas ive encountered problems with rf communicating sts in my extensino heating zone
Thank you this is very helpful. However I have an issue - I have two separate thermostats - one for underfloor and one for radiators - both on the same RF Switch. When I followed these clear instructions - they seem to clash - and the radiator thermostat then turned on the underfloor. I tried to get around this by using channel 32 for the 07 on the radiator thermostat instead. Now that will control only the radiators, as it should. But - the underfloor thermostat now also turns the radiators on! However it is not possible to change 06 - as that is only either 1 or 2. Any ideas? thanks
Hi, thank you for your video. I still have a problem because I have 3 zones and I don't know how to set one not to disable the other. I will be grateful for advice ☺️
Hi Ewelina, The different zones are set by changing setting 07 on Richard's video. Setting 06 will always be 1, but Setting 07 will be 1, 2 or 3 depending on the zone.
@@normanbiggar7763 Hi - I have the same issue - and now the underfloor thermo weirdly switches both radiator and underfloor on/off - but the radiator thermo only operates the radiators, as it should. Radiator thermo on zone 3 and underfloor on zone 3..
@@aWingedVictory I’m guessing they’re not both zone 3 and that’s just a typo. Make sure that, once you’ve changed settings 06 and 07 on your thermostat, you pair them to the correct channel on the rf-switch. You might have to re-pair both thermostats to the correct channels on the rf-switch if it’s gone wrong.
@@normanbiggar many thanks for replying - yes you are correct, I set one to channel 3 so the setting reads (03 7) on the thermostat. The other I put to channel 1 (01 7). However I do not actually know which channel is correct on the rf switch. I just got to these settings through trail and error. Do you know how to check which zone is which on the two rf switches. Many thanks for your time.
I literally watch this video every winter to check my heating is synced - thanks

Really helpful - spent months turning our heating on manually until we found this!
This helps me every time I change the batteries, so thank-you! (it keeps every setting other than the channel when I change them, and I always forget)
You Sir, are a living legend 🙏🏽

I froze my butt off for the last few months not knowing what the problem was. Thank you a million times. You are super!
Thanks very much for this Richard. The instruction booklet is useless but your video got our heating working again. Cheers!
Thank you so much, we have been trying to do this for months now! Really really appreciate you posting this video
Thank you Richard, the Heatmiser instructions were next to useless - thanks for the clarity of this demo.
Thank you so much, very simple and easy instruction video.
You literally saved me so much money as I was going to call a plumber.

Thanks, Richard. The display on our old unit broke and I was struggling to get the replacement unit to pair. All sorted now thanks to your video.
Brilliant, got mine working in 5 mins thanks to your video.
Thank you, Richard. You’ve got my heating working again 😊
Extremely useful… thank you again 👍👍😅
Yours was the most easy to understand, Thanks

Thank you so much. This is so easy compared with the instructions in the manual.
Why can’t the instructions make it that simple. Thanks you just saved me 2hrs on hold … you are que no…. 10 ……

Thanks - this really helped!! - just noticed you have 33k views and only a handful of comments and likes. Unjust!!
You're a life saver, this has been sending me mad! Thank you for sharing!
What an absolute legend of a guy!!
Thank you, this is really helpful.
Thanks for posting this, my heating works again. :-)
Hi Richard, thanks for the video. Do I need a hub to connect Neo controls to boiler or that can be done without using hub ? Let me know please. Thanks
Great - exactly the information I needed
Brilliant clear and helpful instructions, and really funny
How about hot water mine doesn’t seem to connect what am I doing wrong ?
Thank you I too had the same problem and your video helped
Thank you, that video helped me.
Brilliant thanks so much!
Excellent lost - mine lost the setting with option 7. Pity it doesn't default with the value of 01.

Brilliant. This must happen on a regular basis but the manual doesn’t help. This does .
Where is the other part normally ?
So helpful thankyou!!
