Dear Chris, I follow and love all your instructions, but now I have to warn you about one detail that can be dangerous for those who do not know Brompton well enough. At 1:41 it is clearly visible that you are closing the main hinge, but the handelbar hinge remains open, which is very dangerous. Please change it or warn about that detail. Speed without safety is not smart.
Hi VRH You are right. I should have shown closing the Handlebar hinge clamp as well. I can place the warning in the description. Thanks for the remainder, some times we do things automatically and forget to splain all it needs to be done to work well. Nice to have you on board!
@@ChrisbyBike I tried it this morning. I will never go back to the two-step unfolding. The one-step you taught me is so much more efficient and really mind-blowing. Thank you Chris!
Hi Rob Hemsley I'm glad you like it! Pele was a fantastic player, won 3 World Cups. His game was magical. I'm just a Brompton rider who loves to share the things I learn.😊🚵♀️🌷 Nice to have you on board!
That's great - I will try it. However, on a recent trip to Australia where I unfolded the 'slow way', someone watching came and said, "great bike, it just kept getting bigger and bigger' - so as a spectacle, slow also has it's benefits
Hi Wayne Rilley It is cool how amaised they get when we unfold the Brompton. It catches a lot of attention . And this is Brompton's best feature. The small folding size. Nice to have you on board!
Hi Brian Jones I'm glad you like it! This is the part of the channel that I like most. To help and inspire. Glad you got back riding your Brompton. 😊🚵♀️😊🚵♀️😊🚵♀️ Nice to have you on board!
Fiiiiiirst! ☝️ Thanks for sharing and Have fun at your game 😁 I actually had a bit of trouble at first fumbling with my bike because nobody showed To lean the bike away from you to keep it stable before tightening the clamps. It's not really obvious in videos when they're so easily Tightening up the clamps haha learned it the hard way after trying to hold the clamp on with the other hand and struggling While the bike leaned against me 😅 I almost dropped the bike and pinched my finger Is actually how I realized how much more stable it is leaning away from you!
It was unfortunate for Brazil, but Croatia was the better side IMHO. I am not a fan of penalty shoot-outs, which makes you wonder what was the point of the previous match. I am a fair-weather cyclist so my Brommy is stored away for Winter. It is getting quite cold here in the UK You might want to consider a video on getting the Brompton ready for use after storage, ready for warmer weather. Thanks Chris
Hi Slicedpage Croatia played stronger than Brazil. And the gol kiper was very efficient. Hope they get to the finals. Winter is coming. Good video subject. Thanks for the idea! Nice to have you on board!
@@ChrisbyBike I guess if you were to make such a video then I'd want to know if I am not using my Brompton for a couple of months, do I de-inflate the tyres? Do I hang it up somewhere? Should it be wrapped up? That kind of thing. My bike is kept indoors but I can assume that many people might keep them outside. Should it be left folded? Rust would be my concern too. LLAP
Hi Slicedpage Great questions. This week I'll be editing the Cornering Video, and yesterday I've recorded a great ride along the coast. But I'm already thinking about on how to put away your Brompton for the winter season. Nice to have you on board!
Hi Denise Horton Brooks saddles are very conffortables. The Leder saddles need a month to mold to your body, and then they are perfect. Nice to have you on board!
I bought the bicycle 3 years ago, which seldom ride.About 6 months ago, I took it out & rode it for a day.Everything appeared normal. Yesterday ,I took it out from the storage case & tried to unfold it. It remains folded! Even the sit post was fully extended. I did sprayed some WD40 on the hook but problem still remains. Would you kindly tell what cause the problem & how to solve it.
Hi Sheila Stallard Try to make rounded strokes instead of making straight upward strokes. Hard to explain with words. I think I'll have to make a video about it. Nice to have you on board!
Funny, I have two Brommys and have never been in a rush to open nor close them… What’s the rush??? Slow down and take life in your s(ride)…Please! Unless you think like me, you won’t get that last sentence.
Hi Rich Mck No worries 😊 I unfold my Brompton in 3 different ways. It depends on the necessity. Some times, in a big citty, we are at places that aren't so safe. So is good to have a fast unfold option. Nice to have you on board!
The first time I used my bike to take my car to service, it wouldn't open because I hadn't pulled out my seat post, so it blocked the unfolding. And as Denmark didn't even managed to win a game, of two, before being kicked out, and Football besides that isn't my main interest, I haven't looked at any of the games! If during a bike race, they started riding back and forth without being able to - even reach a result, it would be the same!! And after all a Dane: Jonas Vingegaard did win the latest "Tour de France", which also became started in Denmark, so it was much more interesting, as also Vingegaard did win I think a Green "Jersey", besides being the overall winner (So he was called twice during the Final Ceremony)! Today I just pull out my a little too short, black titanium seat post to the full, before riding. I think that further on all Brompton models will be Black Versions, as mine? Finn. Denmark

There is a way to fold it faster.
