they look about the same as any $4 drugstore polish but for 32.. make it make sense lol
Not even. My 3€ drugstore nail polish has a better formula than that. Not streaks, thin yet pigmented, self-levels nucely... i really hate how luxury brands can get away with awful products because of a name...

I have a friend who worked for Chanel & she gave me a bunch of products. Amongst them was a base coat /nail strengthener.
I had it for 10 years & it was still good. The quality was great & the finish just wonderful. I often used it alone because it looked like a milky white polish. It wasn't streaky & it self leveled.
Your daughter is too sweet. You and me were pregnant close together and our daughters are close in age, so when she was talking it sounded just like my daughter, and I could totally see them being friends ❤ Little girl babies are the best! And the nails are lovely as always 🐆

My mother ONLY buys Channel polish! She came to visit me last Thanksgiving in Atlanta, and she brought the polish with her to the nail salon. They took so long that she left without getting her nails done… And she forgot her polish! so for Christmas I purchased two for her. I was so mad that they were $30 each… So it looks like inflation hit them in less than a year! But I know her so well that I managed to get her, the exact polish that she lost. She loved her Christmas gift to me, it was worth the price if only for that!

I tried their nail polish way back in 2021. For Christmas I bought 6 polishes for myself. I was so dissapointed. They still had skinny brushes and the formula was really runny. It looks like they have made some changes since then. I have also read online that they just rename their old colors every year, but people find there is very little difference in colors from years past when they compare. I found that Dior was actually much better and still use their polishes when I am giving my nails a break from gels. They would be a good high cost nail polish to try.

I swear I can’t master the poly gel method but I know if I keep watching you I will master it. I can’t get that alcohol to gel ratio right. It’s either too dry or too wet. But I’m open to any suggestions.

Try an actual slip solution I know it seems like a money thing but grab it from a gel brand you trust I swear it helps ❤

The nails were cute, more so because of your skills than the polish quality. But my fav part of the video was Miss Mya (so sorry if I spelled it wrong). She is such a lil doll baby.
I mostly use gel polish but when I do use regular polish I'll stick to DND or OPI.

I have used Chanel polishes quite a bit and the quality is excellent as the polish wears well, it last on the nails.

I agree. They work well on my nails. I like the thin formula. In my opinion it helps build and adds depth. NARS polish is like that too. Yes I’m a nail polish addict.

This makes me want to try patty gel even though all my attempts at polygel have been disastrous. 😅 I've only tried it with dual forms, though, and now that I have Jello jello peel base, I think trying it with the tips might be the technique I could make work. What kind of brush on nail glue do you use, or does anyone have a good suggestion for nail tip glue with a brush?
@amberpage149 same I also would love a suggestion on a decent brush on nail glue. Ones I have tried are either hit or miss or don’t last very long, if they even hold at all. I’ve only tried the instant dry ones so I’m wondering if uv/led nail tip glue would be a better choice.

What polishes are the best?
This is honestly really ridiculous lol, I’ve watched these most expensive nail polish videos and just can’t fathom spending that amount on a nail polish. You can only do so much with nail polish so there’s nothing ground breaking, the packaging is NOT that nice, you’re literally paying for the name not even the product itself.
when you use patty gel on the natural nail do you need primer and base gel first?

I'm pretty sure I have some wet and wild polish that are in the exact bottles minus the come apart cap and they self level. These makers on their shit with these prices!

I own a few of Chanel nail polishes, and in my opinion, they come off very very easily.I love the colors, and I think because of the formula it’s pretty liquidy, it’s easy to use.but really, after four days, it starts to chip.
