They are nice shade but you can for those same shades T pretty much any lower budget. Maybe as a gift for someone who loves Chanel and loves nails or something but definitely not personally worth it
The colors are close but hot take seems to have just the slightest more tinge of orange and Chanel’s a more vibrant red. The difference is subtle and probably wouldn’t be noticeable on the nails, but when compared side by side, you can definitely notice it.
I have a nail polish that seems to be an exact match to the channel red. Its an old bottle of kiko polish (italian brand) 😂 im so not giving 40 usd for polish

I got OPI polishes from 2016 and they're still as good as new. Only some really old shades I bought (new) are very watery. But these are polishes from around 2010 that I REALLY wanted so I can live with that. (OPI DS polishes are among it)

For luxury brand they actually did a good job with the formulas. The others I've seen you do look rather patchy and need multiple passes. These are not bad. The shimmer gold is my fav. But sorry I'm not paying that much for nailpolish no matter how pretty 😂

Channel’s red is a true red which would look good with my skin tone. Holo Taco’s red is a orangey red and it would make me look pale and also the colors paired next to each other shows an obvious difference in the prettier color.

If you’re more savvy, you can find similar things cheaper, but Chanel’s making it easy by providing those things with their limited range,
Never tried the Chanel, but I would buy my little granny Dior nail polish and lipstick for Christmas, and let me tell ya, that stuff is worth the price! It goes on so smoothly, so shiny, the red is absolutely beautiful!
Colors are nice but I can buy a decent nail polish for about 1.50-2.00. I think I’ll be alright with those lol. Groceries and rent are expensive now a days lol
A friend of mine worked for Chanel & gave me make up... & a really good base coat /ridge filler which lastet 10 years (I used it once in a while) It never dried out & the quality was top!
I owned vamp back in the early 2000s and it was the best polish I have ever owned. I don’t think that a brand like channel would put it out if they had not perfected it.

I think all the colors are really nice. I like the rainbow manicure with all those colors too. Is it worth more than $250? No not at all. I’m sure you could do the same manicure with products that a lot less expensive.
Nude and red are nice. The other colours no from me, but the others are maybe intended for darker complexions I'd imagine they would suit darker skin tones
That might be why I like the index and middle finger colors so much, lol. I love how those kinds of colors look on my skin. And the nude color. Bright red isn’t really for me.
Sorry but that last one is gorgeous and if there is ever a time in my life i know i wouldn't suffer from buyers remorse and had it in me to waste that amount of money on just a nail polish i would absolutely get that one.. And maybe the red..
The Chanel reds are similar in that they’re red but Chanel is violet red and taco is orange red, which is completely different and will look horrible if you have the wrong undertones for the version of red you’ve chosen
I bought 1 bottle of Chanel polish years ago. The shade was Peridot and I had to have it. Shortly afterwards, I found the exact same color and formula at Sephora for less than half the price. Not making that mistake again. 💅🏽
These are reeeeally nice for darker skin tones but we KNOW there are formulas and colors just as nice if not better (holo taco included) for our deeper skin
When she did this stream, I figured she probably chose the colors to be similar to the (at the time) upcoming launch. I laughed a bit when chat said they didn't like these colors because, predictably, everyone got hyped a few days later when Holo Taco launched similar ones.
I like the colours, and it certainly seems to go on very nicely.. but at $44 price... im more interested in the Lasting Time, because ive bought cheap $5 polish thats gone on ok, but chips off in the first few hours!!

When my nail polish dries out, I’ll normally put a couple of drops of remover in the bottle to thin it out a bit! Works a treat
The antique shade looks great, I would find a way to pair it with Lowkey Blushing or Modest Moss for a great mani
