It was cabbage, not lettuce!!! 😂. Thanks for watching my adventures in Japan. It sure was a great trip! I enjoyed exploring a different country. And spending time with a great team and Judah. ❤
That is so funny, because when you kept saying it was a really big lettuce, I kept thinking that it looked like cabbage!
In your defense, I have had a nice salad made with that cabbage before. it was a very popular pot lucky sort of salad in the late 80s early 90s
I came to tell you that I thought it was Chinese cabbage. That is what kimchi is made from. I only know because I tried making kimchi once.
Get that napa cabbage from Asian markets in Calfornia
@@KatherineWalden Do you have a recipe for that salad?
My son went to Grad School in Japan and now is working there. His University Advisor grew up in Wisconsin and she picked up a turkey at Costco and put together a traditional American Thanksgiving dinner for her family and invited him over to enjoy it with them.
That's so nice!
Loved Noelle cam 😍😍😍😍
Thanks for taking us along. I love seeing how happy Judah and all of his team members are during their stay in Japan.

Sarah thank you so much for sharing your trip to Japan. I thoroughly enjoyed the videos.
Great kids! Judah looks so happy!
Another japan video yessssss😊
Costco in Japan is the absolute best we’ve been there. The best part is how they served the samples on little tiny silver trays so classy.
that was Napa cabbage lots of Asian people use it for every thing they use cabbage for. When I make Lumpia I always use it. I use it all year(when I can get it and when it's affordable. I really enjoy seeing Judah an Japan, all of your first's of eating different things. Thank you for sharing with us. all of the team seems so nice. It was so good that there we're kids she could play with while y'all were there.
Thank you for sharing
That curry looked AMAZING! 🤩
It was!
I’ve seen several people wearing City Church merch. I went to City Church in Las Vegas when I lived there. 😊
Nice! We know the pastors there. ☺️. Our church is City Church in Lincoln, NE.

xo as always xo
I work at a Costco in canada and am always fascinated with different warehouses! How neat!
Our costcos in Korea have the hot dog meal for about $1.50 and also rotisserie chicken for about $6. PB 2 pack is about the same as there….very expensive. As an expat living here it’s nice to get a few Kirkland brand things.
Merry Christmas and happy new year🎄🥳🎉🎄
More wonderful fun. Bless you all. Thanks you for sharing your beautiful trip. Hugs
What a great group!! Happy Birthday everyone!!

What a Blessing to see different cultures united by the Same God and Savior Jesus Christ and guided by the Holy Spirit 🙌.
Love how multicultural the team is!!! Happy Belated Birthday Sarah!!!
How neat to see some of the same items at the Japan Costco that we have in Texas! 😀 Yet there were also some things that are unique and fun. Thanks for taking us along for the ride! Happy Birthday Y'all! 🎂
Beautiful people. Costco looks so clean. Hug your son and make memories with him.

Thank you for sharing as always You're the best God bless.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great bunch of people, look like you are having a wonderful time. Enjoy the rest of your vacation.❤❤❤
You said you have persimmon trees at home. Try making persimmon bread. It is delicious. Let us know if you do. Yum!
Black market prices on American food. Lived in Taiwan prices on American food were outrageous
Seeing all these nationalities having a good time and getting along so well. If we could just get the whole world to be this way. What a blessing that would be.
I have friends that are in japan.. no trashcans outside of restaurants or places to eat.. I hear the curry is to die for❤❤
Wow. What a amazing visit❤
Love your videos!
Enjoyed
How long are you here for? The dry ice is fun to play with, don't want to burn yourself.😮Such cute kids! Curry is hot isn't it? I never tried curry eiether. Cool..snow.Aww!🥳Happy Birthday!!You are having fun,I can tell Happy Birthday everyone..😊👍❄💒

This was one crazy Christmas I'm in Mt pleasant MI and we had no snow for Christmas and still don't have any but I prefer it this way 😊
Such a fun group! Bless you all🥳🥳🥳🙏🏻
the rotisserie chicken is $4.99 here in NY
I am so enjoying these videos from Japan. Especially Noel’s camera video at the restaurant. Costco was so interesting to see all different foods and some familiar. Happy Birthday to all the ones who had birthdays. Favorite part, again the floor refrigerator. Too cool! Thumbs up!
Sarah have loved these videos from Japan. So heartwarming seeing all the different cultures getting along so well. Enjoyed watching them play in the snow. Also I actually think I could eat some of what I've seen as a picky eater. Most likely your home by now and hope your trip back went well. Thank you so much.
Tell Judah Merry Christmas and to you as well oh yeah, your daughter too!🎅🎄🎉 And to all the people there! ❤
I have tried octopus once in the past. It was ok but I have learned somethings since that I didn’t know about them . The octopus is super intelligent and when a female octopus lays her eggs she never leaves them to protect them until they hatch and thus she starves to death. What a wonderful mother. She sacrificed her life. I can’t eat it now.
I never realized it snowed or gets so cold in Japan!
We were pretty north there.
Happy birthday to everyone!!! What a great adventure.I really want to go to Japan!
My husband and I learned to grocery shop and cook in giant family style(working in L’Arche homes). It was great for teaching us to buy well and to split bigger bulk things into smaller portions. So good to practice with a specific budget and list even if you later will have way less people!
L'arche communities are such special places. Thank you and your husband for caring and looking after the core members there.
Oh this was an amazing video. Loved every minute of it. hugs
Dry ice! This had me cracking up!
Thank you so much for sharing your trip to Japan. I really have enjoyed it!
So very interesting and totally enjoyable. Thanks for taking us to Japan. A place I’d love to visit but because of health reasons, never will, except for your video. 😮. Thanks and Happy birthday to all the birthday kids. ❤
What an adventure for you and Noelle in the land of the rising sun ❤❤
Fun times. Was shocked I guess to see Costco there. Safe travels. Stay safe & take care of you all. Thanks for sharing, eh :))
That was fab Sarah, always loving how other folks eat.😊😊
Japan is beautiful what a Godly community Happy Birthday all and bless you all
Love your coat! It looks so warm and snuggly. Do you have a link where you got it? ❄️
My mom and dad got it for me at Sam's Club in Lincoln.
That Costco trip was interesting!
I loved the birthday celebration and the girls singing las mañanitas 🥳
Thanks for sharing this wonderful trip with us. Happy Birthday!!
What a fun gang of young adults !! Costco had a bunch of samples!! Glad you are having fun !! Juda will miss you!! 🎂🎂⛄️🎉🙏🏻🙏🏻
Mario's light keeps going out. New batteries. Thus: death mode. 😂😂😂 That's just the funniest thing ever to see. My kids will say, 'we killed it! Need new batteries!'
That was a fun trip! You called Noelle "Belle" at 13:42 and she didn't skip a beat 😂
😂😂I was going to comment just about the exact same statement ☺️ haha I love it. Love mostly that it's a very common thing, big families or not. I have 5 sisters, so 6 girls total, with a set of twins who came shortly after myself. It always bothered me that I wasn't necessarily the middle any longer cause people aren't numbers we can't just set half of ourselves on either side..... I fall 3rd in line making them numbers 4 AND 5....instead of them bothe being number 4(..maybe say 4a&4b are here!! 😅) Don't know why it still does....I mean even in school learning geometry I held debates often pertaining to my illogical genius all because I couldn't handle things being uneven....😅 Glad I've learned to understand and manage those kinds of things❤ I'll sign off with what my parents still manage to spit out in a split second just about any time we are in person and they address me..the other sisters do not get this privilege 😅😅.... I will forever be MeganRachelAbbyTaraJenna-dang it-Katie, sweetie I'm sorry.........
And that's followed by any and everything in a conversation. Inserted as if it were as simple as spitting out Katie😂😂😂😂😂 gets me every time... On the phone I'm Katie, one on one I'm good as gold Katie all day... Have one or more sisters in one room and their brains go mush in certain spots it seems 😂😂😂 but to be holding it down in so many I think I can deal with the goofy name slips here and there 😊😊😊
Happy birthday 🎉
That was a treat to see Costco in Japan. Peanut Butter cost would be too high here in USA. What fun you all had. Hello to all the young children from Texas. Noelle, you did a great job videoing. Happy Birthday to all you birthday folks.❤
Enjoyed the video
What a fun time for you and Noelle. I think that’s right. They have more snow than we have here in Wisconsin. Thank you for the video.
beautiful. i love how happy everyone is
How interesting and fun. Lots of Christmas babies 😙💟❤
Thanks for the Costco tour!!! Crazy to be able to sit on our couch at home and see many of the foods in a Japanese Costco. ♥️💚
