Hi Rob, great review of Meikle Toir. It looks like the Turbo came and went fast. I got the Chinquapin and it's been great so far way past the shoulder. I will keep an eye out for new releases from Billy Walker's own distillate as they show a lot of promise. Cheers Rob!
I picked up 2 Turbos today and it's everything everyone is raving about. Like you I hate to ride the hype train cuz next year it will be impossible to find at twice the price. $62US Wish I could have gotten a case. Reminds me of Ardbeg BizarreBQ or Lagavulin Offerman Charred Cask without the coastal notes which is good company to be in.
The Tor was great and went like lighting. I think I actually preferred The Original. They were all great. And actually really great value! Great review as always!
It's so impressive that the 71ppm in the bottle is achieved especially with taking less tails where peat shows itself more at. More bottles should tell us the ppm levels in the bottle rather than these ridiculous numbers about the barley. Cheers Rob for a great review 🥃

FOr a 5y malt , I hope 65-75 $ CA range like Ledaig-10 will do nicely, but north of 90 $CA, I aint buying...
