The best way to record with your computer is set the h264 to the fastest because it won’t use that much cpu, set higher bitrate, and use the source as your monitor.
Plus using software like OBS would be perfect

Streamlabs allows a window capture that works better for local sources in general.

You should try using this device with OBS. Since it’s open source and allows a lot of control.
