    Ingredients:
1 can of Frijoles Pintos, whichever brand you prefer
1/4 cup of olive oil or for better flavor use bacon fat or lard.

Hey I like your videos. I am totally blind and I'm Mexican but I was adopted and raised in Africa. I came to visit my father and I accidentally got a can of pinto beans. As luck would have it, he asked me, do you know how to make beans? I was so happy when I got the can but I wasn't sure what to do with it. Then I heard your video and you described everything. You did not just say, put this in, put that in. No, you described it. Dude, thank you thank you thank you 1 million times

Haha! I used vegetable oil, the Chile Guajillo, onion and garlic just like how you started it off and add the can after a couple minutes. I smashed mine completely down. It came out so good. 😋

@@jacquelinesacche2459 Yes 😂 Making beans from scratch does at least take 2.5hrs, I rarely make them like that, so the can beans are my go to 😉 By the way, I also use chile ancho instead of guajillo, so try that way next time 🤓

As a transplant from Cali to Croatia it's impossible to find good Mexican food so I have to make everything here myself from scratch and this is absolutely perfect other than next year I'm going to grow my own jalapenos, right now I'm using my own Feferonis which are okay but they're on the sweet side. But thank you so much, love it.

I like using black beans because of the slightly higher protein content (I'm vegan so no lard either). I looked up Sazon and had all the ingredients to make it from scratch, even culantro thanks to my local Asian grocer! Although I used a little smoked paprika instead of regular, and I think it really worked great, especially since I had to use a regular dried chilli in the absence of guajillo of chipotle. Thanks for your input; I'll refer to this often since I absolutely love bean burritos and enchiladas (make my own sauce for them too!
