NCLEX will not be necessary for the UK. In Canada, NCLEX will be required to practice as a nurse now. Previously it wasn't, but now one must have passed the NCLEX to practice as an RN in Canada. In the USA, it is mandatory, NCLEX is their national licensure examination.

The OET result can be used as a requirement for the Board of Nursing instead of submitting IELTS (Oregon will accept OET by the end of 2020). But as an international nurse, one still needs to have the Visascreen after passing the NCLEX. During the VS, IELTS and TOEFL will be accepted, not with OET yet. Although even without English Exams, one can apply for the NCLEX. @joji. Indian nurses visa are under retrrogression (back logs of application)since year 2009. So if u had priority date before 2009 u can apply if not u cant .. but again u must pass nclex
