It’s really best to do the egg yolk separation singly into a separate cup or bowl, you don’t want to accidentally break a yolk into your already separated egg whites

Idk if I did something wrong but when i tried i had been mixing for a while and it was just foamy and liquidy
Must be the yellow yolk . Even if a drop of yolk get into whip bowl it wont get creamy

I did this the other day for my chile rellenos, and it definitely took way longer than 5 minutes. Then again, I did 6 eggs for 4 big chiles so maybe that's my issue.

Took like 15 minutes but worth it. To sperate the egg white I recommend using you hand and also recommend using a big bowl because the egg white become huge

How much time did it take
@@anuullas6875 by using a fork I took 15 mins if you use a fork and beat it continuesly then it will take 10 minutes .... Because I took some break , by using a hand whisker I took 5 -10 minutes... And by beater I took 2-3 minutes
I was trying with whisk n mixer but nothing worked... Ty for the tips... It took more time than expected but worked at the end... I was whisking fast but still took mr than 10 mins donno why... Anyways m so glad it finally worked... Tysm 😊❤️

And I dont have a whisker whipper or blender I do have a blender but it isnt the kind of one u would use it's the hand blender anyway imma try this and update how it went :)!

M grandma used to do it this way!! Today I tried it for the first time but without thorough preperation or reading (I used eggs from the refrigerator, a plastic bowl, I had prior to this melted butter in :D, it wasn't even a bowl but more so a cup), but it still turned out really well and I am glad :) But I kept thinking abt my grandma who I vividly remembered walking around the kitchen doing this with a fork. Next time I'll do it properly!! With a fork 🍴, in a proper, CLEAN bowl, with a bit of lemon 🍋 and with WARM eggs (not from the refri) - I really liked it and am looking forward to doing it even better!! Kind regards from Austria 🇦🇹

Is it more difficult to whisk the egg with the yolk (yellow part)?
Yellow has fat content which makes it difficult for a good peak

You can't make meringue with the yolk, only the whites. If you even get a tiny bit in the mix it will not turn out so if it's not working you most likely accidentally added in some yolk! Don't be lazy when separating the whites from the yolk you will fail every time. :)

Does the mixture not become foam if you get a little York mixed with the white? I think I let a little bit of York get mixed with the egg white mistakenly.

First of all thanks a ton for such a beautiful comment.. Actually this is the base of many dishes like cakes, meringue, omelette etc.. ..if you want to bake cakes. You can add sugar in it whip it further. Add vanilla essence and flour according to the recipe to make varieties of cake etc. And if you add just powdered sugar and whip it till it becomes glossy you can make meringue dishes.. All the best for tomorrow
You can use even one egg.. But powdered sugar would be easy to whip up.
