      Absolutely agree with you here...
There are multiple GS Watches pulling me away from pulling the trigger on a Rolex 114300 (as my first Watch purchase over ~$300), and that'd be one of em... Absolutely STUNNING Dials, LOVE those sharp Hands, and the Spring Drive really does seem like a hell of a movement.
And considering you buy a Watch for YOURSELF and not others, I honestly don't give a fuck about the "status of having a Rolex" blah blah fucking blah which pulls me that much closer to one of the GS Models.

@@idonotexist_ Test them first. GS doesn't have adjustable bracelets and it can be difficult to find a good fit. Rolex is superior when it comes to bracelet and finding a good fit. GS cases aren't for everyone either.
As much as people want to go against the Rolex hype, there are things that they do really good.

I got an orient defender 2 a couple months back and I've really liked it. The only criticism I have is the 24hr complication is basically useless because the thin red hand is poorly legible (especially in lower light scenarios) or just covered by the min/hour hands. For those less fortunate (like myself) who would like a nice watch and still affording to put food on the table I can also recommend Seiko SUR311. Tons of value for the money :)
    Price: < $ 250 | Case size: 40.2 mm | Thickness: 8.4 mm | Water resistance: 100 M | Movement: Quartz 6N52 | Crystal: Sapphire

Love this list. Awesome video. Are there any independent & small Japanese watch brands? Genuinely curious.
