We're pretty sure we've seen Santa's wish lists that literally said "a big ol' block of watercolor paper"! Little known fact: Every Blick location has a sleigh landing pad on the roof... for licensed reindeer pilots only!
For anyone who is on the fence about Emily’s membership, it is worth every penny. Truly. One of the best investments I have made for myself and a renewal will surely be on my wish list.
There are so many great ideas in this video! I'm actually here to say thank you - someone just told me you mentioned me in a video this summer and I'd LOVE to know what video you mentioned me and THANK YOU so much! Your channel really inspires me! I've sent my students to your tutorials for specific things they were wanting to learn, like painting a curly haired dog : )
I would add the Meeden porcelain pallete for $30 that is a dupe of the (plastic) Steve Squiller palette. A steal. They have lots of smaller porcelain palletes as well. Very well priced.
Wow I just caught this. Such amazing Items and I love the description of your courses. I am not ready to commit to it, but I have loved learning from you here and there. You are an amazing instructor. Happy holidays and Merry Christmas.
You're always a welcome visit!!! These are great ideas. Loved viewing Whyte's book on Amazon Kindle! Amazing! Thanks for sharing why you chose the items... with love on Thanksgiving from a California Gramma ❤
Hi everyone. I love these types of videos, they’re a lot of fun! Im eyeing some different types of items this years, not sets with primary colors and so forth (have plenty of those and I love them!) Im eyeing a gouache set and journal from My mellow days (small company in France) and the Kuretske art nouveau set 😄
awesome! I love the micro pallette ❤ but I think I set it up wrongly - I added 3 primary colours and 3 random supergranulating colours 😅 Next gift I want to give myself is a HUGE roll of watercolour paper (either Arches or Fabriano) - as a watercolourist newbie I would be ecstatic with any of those gift you’ve mentined 😂
This is great! I just wish you would have slowed down and spent more time on each item, especially those that peaked my interest. You speak pretty fast for a slow thinker. 😁😁 I love your choice of gifts! Great ideas!
Hullo Emily, I believe you have hit every category of ideas for gifts for any artist on anyone’s list! I have to add a Paint Puck to go into the water up! They will save all of your brushes from wear and tear! I will say my current brushes that I recommend are Princeton Aqua Elite’s, full new synthetic construction brushes! I have 1 Silver Black Velvet brush. I took it to a symposium and was treated to an hour of their cruelties of animal practices and their subsequent litigation! I suppose that it is still ongoing for if they had settled equitably we would have been subjected to endless ads about how they are no longer treating animals poorly! So I do feel the need to bring up just one alternative to that brand. I have even stopped using my Grandma’s Kolinsky brushes as they were certainly not made cruelty free back when she bought them! When I started painting synthetic brushes were not good, Period. New techniques and technologies have made the synthetic Kolinsky brushes simply amazing. I even got my uncle and he couldn’t even tell the difference and he is/was a die hard consumer of natural hair brushes! A lovely video and wonderful ideas for presents, thank you.

Hah hah! And a Blick gift card is sure to be a hit this Christmas! 🙌🙂
All Santas must be notified to watch this video!😉

Thank you, Emily. You made this so easy. I can just forward to my family.
Lovely ideas… though I must admit what piqued my interest most is your camera handbag! It’s adorable ❤
I got it at a boutique store, but I've just added a link to a similar one on amazon!
