Yeah it is hard to believe that we are so close to the end! So much more stuff to do before this epic trip comes to an end, we'll have to plan full days haha ;)
Oh no, I hope you can still go out and enjoy the final few weeks of the year without having to alter too much of what you were planning. And I'm glad the fall wasn't worse!
Don't worry, it;s a habit with Robin, he knows the trick and will heal fast! Plus it ads a bit of a fun touch to the last few weeks of our adventure ;)
Wow, such beauty mixed with such disaster. I love how Laura lets the expletives fly during panic haha. Who knew walking down could cause such a wreak. If you guys happen to be near Queenstown area in Nov/Dec come join me for a pint!
Haha for sure mate! Yeah it was a fun day, but it led to a lot of fun videos with Robin in a cast... he even skydived with a cast on... The last month of the adventure was pretty crazy...
Haha it just makes the videos from the end of our trip even more compelling! Have you seen the video of Robin Skydiving with a broken arm? Epic! Join us tomorrow for the very last episode!!!
I do quite here a lot in dubai. If you didn't get the metro in time, just wait 2-5 minutes, the next one will arrive. "If you don't like the weather, you just need to wait 10 minutes and it will probably change!" lol Kids from the future will be like, wow! so newzealanders had this amazing technology to change weather.
Lol, oh yeah, well we need to do something to keep you guys coming back haha ;) don't worry though, we are still releasing videos every day for the last leg of our 365 adventure!
Shit luck guys, hopefully out of all the bones you could have broken, the wrist is one of the 'better ones'. As someone else mentioned, anything from the waist down has much more impact on normal day to day activities. Laura will just have to carry the heavy bags from here on in.
Oh Laura, know how you feel! I have an elderly and ill husband so have to go through that all the time. Strength to you , sister! I only wish I could come write a cheeky message on your cast, Robin! What a shitty thing to happen! But at least it wasnt a leg. Imaginne not being able to walk!!!! I would go mad! Bless you both
Laura. Why do you let Robin do dangerous things like walking down staircases? There are more safer things he could do, like Day 14 - Paeroa’s Giant L&P Bottle. There is always the Big Trout, the Big Carrot, and any number of historical monuments. Maybe more tea tasting (Day - 16) ? You know, the adrenaline pumping stuff. That's when he's at his most daring. What's the worse that could happen?
Thanks so much for your concern! Breaking my wrist was definitely an unexpected twist, but I appreciate your support! If you're looking for more travel tips or want to connect, feel free to join us on patreon.com/nzpocketguide. Cheers!
Ouch..!!! A double break..!!! Stay Strong Rob.. I do hope we get to see more of Whangarei.. And 4 weeks in lovely NZ are just going to fly by.. TC..!!

Don't worry we'll just take it easy for a week or so with some slow paced activities and be back at full speed.
Oh no! I hope you heal quickly. I hiked that same trail almost 3 years ago, and remember how steep and slippery many of those steps were.
Don't worry, it;s a habit with Robin, he knows the trick and will heal fast! Plus it ads a bit of a fun touch to the last few weeks of our adventure ;)
Oh bad luck Robin. Great spirits and awesome views from the mount. Are you sure you weren't pushed?
Haha We'll have to review the footage in slow motion to see if Laura did not just did not try to get rid of me once it for all ;)
Wow, sorry to see that fall, Get well soon.
Thanks Leroy :) Not the first time, not the last time... Robin was over it before we even got to the hospital ;)

@@NZPocketGuide nice! Better to skydive with a cast on than be a castoff I always say...I'm Jordan and that's my time. Thank you everybody...
Maunga Manaia left you a lasting memory bro!!.
Haha you can say that twice ;)
you guys should have done it at night. it is my favourate time to go up, the lights over the habour are just amazing!
Great idea. However, I don;t trust Robin at night on those stairs, who knows what else he could break haha!
I expected it to be the arm for a second, damn and right before your guys' year is done. Hopefully there weren't any water activities planned soon.
Well we do and it looks like Laura will have the waters of the Bay Of Islands all to herself ;)
Aw man, that sucks! You handled it like a champ atleast and glad you'll be alright. Double break sounds like 0 fun, hope you heal up quick!
Yeah this won't really stop us, luckily it is just the arm, nothing too bad.
No way guys, thats a big bummer after such a hike!!

Yeah Robin will be all right. he's quite used to breaking bones so this little incident doesn't damper his spirit a bit...
Amazing place but unlucky for you! How is your hand now?
Not a biggie at all, we still have heaps of activities coming up ;)
