I think “The Hit” by Clowney will forever be the greatest hit. The history behind it. The clear turnover on downs given the ball is short of the first down, and the refs moving the chains closer on live TV to give Michigan the ball. Just absolute beauty. Ball don’t lie
Much respect to the Virginia Tech QB at 1:38. Gets absolutely rocked, still gets right back up and does everything he can to try and prevent the TD. That's heart right there
@@TmoneyProductions we've had a rough say 20 years since our 01 natl title appearance lol but Rhule is recruiting some really solid players got some 5 star transfers from Georgia and I'm thinking next year is gonna be a step in the right direction. Or at least it can't get any worse than what Frost already did lmao
Credit towards that Virginia Texh quarterback, though. Got laid flat out on his belly and still got up and chased down the defender. Couldn't prevent the scoop and score, but that's still some heart
The Texas vs Alabama game reminds me when i was 4 playing my first game against our biggest competitor. It was kickoff 1st quarter and i picked the ball up. I see their entire team rush me and i promise, i was 6 ft under.
Withersppon out of Illinois is a dog! He will be a very fortunate player for whoever ends up picking him up in the first round. Too 5 college cornerbacks (actually somewhere between 1st&2nd in most stats). He is s lock down corner, super athletic, knows certain looks and knows his assignment. Not to mention he hits like a linebacker!
I was at that liberty bowl between Arkansas and Kansas this year. Crazy fucking game, that hit Macado put on that receiver made him throw up. Dude was on the field for like five solid minutes. Go hogs.
1. How are you celebrating a blind side hit when they literally couldn't see you to avoid you? 2. How did any of these players get up and walk away after these hits?
Man awesome, too bad these types of hits won't be happening as much as they used to. They are cracking down real hard now penalties, ejection from games and fines as well. Case in point Cameron Hayward slammed the browns QB down and got a flag for roughing the passer. Qb was a runner at that point In time and wasn't throwing so that flag should of never been thrown
Is there a safe way to collide with another player running at full speed? I don't think it is any more brutal. I think you can go as far back as you want and find crushing tackles.
Every blind-side QB murder shown here is a compelling reason why the blind-side O-linemen are the 2nd-best paid players on a team.
We get it. You’ve seen the blindside before😂
it’s called a Left Tackle
No way!!
@@dougmeyers4532 unless your QB is left handed
Wrong

Just the way he picked up the ball is so awesome lol
Iconic
You are def right!!!
That hit is legendary.
Destroyed him

That’s Connor Blumrick, unique player in that he plays QB, TE, WR, and special teams. interesting guy
and they're already getting slaughtered
It’s never a complete biggest hits video without Kenny Bell’s block at Nebraska
The man got folded in half
Unreal
@riikerman keep your head on a swivel. It’s not somebody else’s job to protect you on the football field
Best Nebraska highlight is a block on a touchdown when they’re down 40 💀😂

Clowney’s hit is forever the greatest hit ever. Plus the one handed grab on that ball was personal 😂
I prefer the hit on Justin Fields :)
@@tracypayne2026me too, too bad it was called targeting
I'm surprised he didn't puncture the ball with that one hand stab.
@@tracypayne2026that’s not even close
I'm with you all the way...that kid owed Clowney some money or something! 🤣
Bro literally saw the first clip and thought "its gonna get worse"👀😂
5:03 fun fact the announcers for this game were astronauts in the ISS.
You beat me to it haha
This hit happened when they were on the far side of the planet too! Amazing we can even hear them! Modern marvels!

Crazy how Fields took that hit and still finished the game, what a warrior
@@dsumstay mad
lol. that "warrior" transferred bc someone called him a name. what a loser
This is the era of smash mouth football I came up from back in the 2000's. Bravo!
The Clowney and Denzel Ward hits are🔥
He showed enthusiasm that is going to be a 15 yard penalty
That clowney hit is the best of all time will never be another and to pick up that ball with one hand instantly without thinking or looking hardly
Ooh what a lot of CTE victims!
Kenny Bells' block was #1, no doubt.
The Clowney hit is crazy. The play had absolutely no chance😂
@6:38 Charles "I'm having a hard time absorbing that" *Wisconsin player number 10* SAME!
The moment I saw the Clowney hit I checked the remaining time on the video bc there’s not a single better hit
Missing that clean hit on MHR in the Ohio vs Georgia game. That dude got his spirit knocked out of him from the shoulders.
I’ll never forget that Clowney hit blowing up on vine back then 🤣
The Texas vs Alabama game reminds me when i was 4 playing my first game against our biggest competitor. It was kickoff 1st quarter and i picked the ball up. I see their entire team rush me and i promise, i was 6 ft under.
Bro that little kicker at the end got flipped like a damn pancake 💀

Woo pig 🤝
5:04 sounds like it was recorded using dolphins echolocation
There in space on the ISS
The hit on Blowhio state qb was awesome!
1. How are you celebrating a blind side hit when they literally couldn't see you to avoid you?

Yo 2022 pac 12 championship Utah and USC. Cam rising absolutely leveled, helmet comes off. Deserves to be in here.
Missed these college hits damn it 👀👀👀👀👀👀
I love that the last two are Michigan State flattening a player and then UofM getting rattled. Great way to end the video!
its not even the hits its the crowd and sideline reactions that get me🤣🤣
We need the hit from Doneiko Slaughter in the Kentucky vs Tennessee game this year in here, he leveled him
Also the one on will Shipley in the bowl game
Couldn’t find him anywhere in the Georgia game🤣
The swing pass: A Linebacker's best friend
Proof Maryland needs to be back in the ACC
Lmaoooo nooooo that vandy dude got KO then had a ole miss guy lays his nuts on his helmet 😭😭😂 and dj swearinger stays with the big hits

The hit in the beginning of this clip may have been brutal but it was a text book tackle.
1:41 perfect timing by the announcer
That clowney hit is still one of my all time favorites
Yoooo ALL these hits are nasty.
Kudos to the guys who got up after these hits.
Gus Johnson is the only commentator you can count on to give hits like these the energy they deserve.
I see college ball still fun
Violence and violations in this upload.
Eric Stokes vs Tennessee. Oh my
4:18 I don't know but something tells that Purdy kid is gonna do okay in the NFL.
Is there a safe way to collide with another player running at full speed? I don't think it is any more brutal. I think you can go as far back as you want and find crushing tackles.
Damn, Purdy got hit right into 1 game shy of a Super Bowl
There is zero honor in leveling a defenseless reciever.
Love how the SC guy celebrates after his team gave up 8 yds and a first down
I feel like the clowney hit is a moment where everybody remembers where they were when they saw it
Clowny was such a beast of a man
How is 1:25 targeting? Slowed it down there wasn't any helmet to helmet contact. Looked clean.
it wasn't, that was a taunting call
No , they are no more brutal than they have ever been.
A shellacking. What a beautiful term.
Awww…the good ol’ days…when defense wasn’t flagged for playing defense!!!
Clowney hell of a hit... Not so much in the NFL
Trust me. He slacked plenty in college too. USC alumni here.
Who else remembers playing “smear the queer”? No helmets/No pads… just straight raw tackles.
1989 Zac Dumas should be at the top of the list.
I was waiting for the Sean Clifford one😂😂
I love the hits
No R. Foster highlights from Bama? Still a good video but that man was a beast.
I love college football
3:52 Aaron Hernandez
Dude saw his opportunity to show the world how tough he is and he took it!! 😂😂
Notice how all these hits happen before everyone became straight 🐱s
All these hits would be a flag in the NFL today lol
they really wouldn't unless you were hitting a QB
From a Vols fan.. that Alabama freshman absolutely DE-STROYED the A&M returner.
The commentator sounded like Michael Cole a little in that first clip. Like he just saw Goldberg spear someone.
How the hell did that Colorado St. QB even get to his feet? Is he the living dead...'cause that hit was a Mortal Kombat fatality.
All Im saying is "Eric Berry v Knowshon Moreno"
How in the hell is the Arkansas vs Vanderbilt not on here
was thinking the same thing. It was a totally illegal hit but Marquel Wade vaporized that Vandy punt returner
Swearinger wasn't the one who learned the lesson. No clemson player wanted the ball after that hit.
Not including the Tennessee hit vs kentucky this season that caused an INT is a tragic miscue. Great vid though
and its alos more impressive when they get lit up and then still hold on to the ball
The hits are heavy but…….Go back and look at the 80s and 90s hits
All these hits just for a free college education lol
Thank you for not using the idiotic standard UA-cam phrasing “BuT ThEy GeT InCrEaSiNgLy MoRe BrUtAl”
Not saying I agree, but wouldn’t the first two be called targeting? Pretty sure that Clemson one actually got called
Guy at 3:49 don’t care about his future
83 sold in that first clip 🤣
6:18 im a hockey guy... but i see this block as a clean one... am i wrong?....
Clowney where are you at now or are you a bust?
Have a great day God’s love you
Bro you made a crazy video🤣
It's like black on black crime
Ohio State and shit targeting calls name a more iconic duo
What a hilarious title
PS it’s still bullshit they called targeting on that Clemson LB in the 2nd clip
Isn’t this what’s that sport is all about?
Ohio State fans would cry these are all targeting hits.
Yes they are angry not playing nice with fellow players and the govt. problems add up to angry people!
a lot of time qb sets the wr or te up tbh
Wards hit was called targeting. If they were allowed to review it, definitely wouldn’t have been.
Ouch !
purdy took that hit personal then beat tom brady
Ouch, a lot of these are illegal now. Can’t launch your self into the neck and head area of a defenseless player.
Some of these are pass interference and others are blind side hits
the vanderbilt and ole miss game that u showed it makes me sad because they dont even help him up and just sit on him thats why i hate football
Blindside hits on QB’s shows how poor the coaching and strategies FAIL !
The first tackle is a brilliant rugby tackle head to the chest drive with the hips that’s how you hit wow
