    Thank you so much for making this amazing video! I have a comp in august 10th and i generally get very nervous at comps, i average mid-8 at home but i barely can get 11 second averages at comp due to getting nervous + cunfuse green and orange colors. The main consequence with that is getting the green-orange egde flipped after "finishing" F2L, but also getting green and orange cross pieces swaped and having to swap them after the F2L with S' M' U M U2 S, and miss-recognizing very easy to recognize PLLs. One exemple of that is on my last comp, i was doing the first solve of 3x3 R1 and the solve was going ok, until i reached PLL, i got a E perm (not very easy to recognize but whatever) but somehow i thought it was a Nb perm, them i did the alg and while i was doing it i saw that it was wrong and i had to do a Z perm afterwards and i ended up getting a 14.06. The first time i redid the scramble i got 5.8x. But i am hoping that if i follow this guide the week before the comp i will get better results, and mainly have fun in the competition. Thank you again for the video and i defenively would recomend this guide to anyone!

    Nice tips! A few thoughts:
    -If your backpack contains only cubing equipment, do you carry another backpack for the other stuff, e.g., snacks, medicines and first aid, charger, cords, and batteries?
    -Do you do your practice routine on every event? For example, I would have a hard time reviewing algs on 3x3, 2x2, 6x6, Megaminx, Pyraminx, and Clock on the same day.
    -Is packing and driving or flying to the comp part of your Friday routine of "doing something else"? If not, where does that fit?

    • @CuberCaiden
      @CuberCaiden  3 місяці тому

      Yes carry another backpack, that’s what I do
      I would practice routine every event, so that your the most comfortable when solving, or you can just review for you main events
      Yeah travel would be a way to focus on something else than cubing
      Hope these tips help!!

      @@CuberCaiden probably to not cube the day before the comp, cause I used to learn new algs the day before but that just gave me worse results than I would have gotten if I didn’t learn anything new.
