Oh, that Freckled Whimsy Halloween Club!!! 💜💜💜💜 And its purple contrast - one of the most beautiful I have ever seen! I don’t know how you are going to keep from casting it on, but here’s an idea. First, put it away so constantly seeing it doesn’t torture you. Then wait for the first day you get Pumpkin Spice creamer again - the official start to fall - and celebrate starting both on the same day! What an event that will be!! The beginning of the holiday season like no other!! 🥳 (Even the emoji’s party hat has the same colors. That’s a sign.)

Oh, I love me some WYS and Freckled Whimsy. They're opposite ends of the spectrum, but both so pretty and fun to knit. I spent some time last week planning the first bit of SSC, winding yarn, preparing project bags and even adding needles to the project bags.
I love your podcast so much....but my absolute favorite part is when you first show a sock and make a face and say OOOOOOO or Ahhhhh!!! I LOVE IT! Thanks for always bringing the joy and inspiration!
Thanks I am from Michigan born in Hamtramck but ended up near Lansing now in the panhandle of Florida. I come up to visit my adult kids. Love to make socks to. Am doing the jelly roll blanket, a mitered square scrappy and a puffy hexi blanket without the puffy. I get my yarn from the Yarn Garden in Charlotte Michigan, ewe unique knits in Royal Oak, fun with sticks and strings in Lansing a d simply sock yarn on line. Four pulls in Florida but I order on line because it's not close. Love see all your socks fells like home

Thanks so much for sharing your projects - I so enjoy watching each week! For the Freckled Whimsy I really do enjoy doing contrast toes but don't want to interrupt stripes either. If a stripe is ended just a few rows away from the toe - I just start the contrast then and it's maybe a little bit longer of a toe. And then if it's time to start the decreases but the stripe isn't complete, I just start decreases in the stripe and switch to the contrast once the stripe is complete. Not sure if that helps, just what works for me 🙂

Yay for Jay! Now the yarns all fit nicely in the box. It does mean no buying more of those till some room is made, no? There'll need to be another commenter vote at some stage. But then the other boxes contain temptations too...
Hmm... and club yarns and new yarns...
And here I am knitting a sock right now. Up to the heel of a second sock. Making plans for more socks as I figure I need to make at least 120 more to get through my sock yarn stash lol. Can't deny there'll be more yarn coming before I get there as I'm not likely to resist getting yarn for the length of time it will take to knit that many lol. Plus I never want to have no yarn in stash.

The FW Halloween skein is amazing!!! My favorite! I’m knitting in rotation, 1 sock in FWChristmas, move to 1 sock Yarnable, and finally 1 sock FW Halloween. Then repeat all for the second sock! Thought I’d give it a try this month 😊 Thanks again for the bunches of inspiration!! 😍

I had 2 different patterned socks on the needles this past week and omg my kingdom for a vanilla sock! 😂 Seeing the Christmassy Freckled Whimsey makes me want to cast on mine even more but I’m trying to be good and finish these I’ve got going but these patterns are killin’ me!
I’ve made 2 patterned socks. I didn’t like knitting them, and I don’t wear them. Vanilla socks all the way! 🤣

Not that I want to "force" you to cast on those halloween socks but they are fantastic! Mine arrived May 2nd and I quickly caked it up and cast on because I had hand surgery the next day. Love the colors but I am forced to looked at what I have done without being able to knit any more till my fingers works properly. ☹️
I’m set up a basket with yarn for summer sock camp. (I’ll share it on my next episode) I put the Freckled Whimsy Halloween skein in there. 🤣

It is lighter than my dk cozy memories blanket.
