The beam design in steel beam theory. Where less Moment occurred there this process may be used. If design done in LSM the hogging moment raised and negative steel is to be provided along with development length. steel is more when WSM follow.

Bhai your explanation is best and to the point...but its difficult to understand without pointingthe exact portion with your hand..plz point your finger to the poetiin which you r explaining..also avoid technical jargons bcoz me from engg bckgnd but could not catch some of the terms..many who r watching these videos are prospective house owner who want to construct their own hiuse but hv almost zero knowledge about basic terms .pleass explain as if alayman can also understand..with these changesviewers need not hv to puase and look for the terms elsewhere while watching ur video.otherwise half understanding these things makes no sense

@@civilsitevisit To reduce the use of bars where bending moment is less. If you use same bar combination at both support and span you are wasting steel cause at span there's hogging moment at top steel.

The beam design by Steel beam theory. Very easy in beam design. But development length requires to provide for hogging moment. But I think LSM also unscientific as well as WSM. Because its serviceability is very poor. Using Steel beam theory by increasing beam depth.. Steel will be used less.
