There was allegedly a mission where Claude would take orders from a would-be terrorist and some have even gone as far to say that a mission literally involved flying a plane into the a building for one of the missions as well (not necessarily the terrorist one but still). So yeah, RIGHT before this game came out 9/11 happened and they changed a LOT of things about it for the American version exclusively I am pretty sure.

Actually there are pilots in the game. In the mission where you go to the airport to get a package and the cartel are there. You can see dead pilots on the ground.

They might've mistaken them with the Liberty Campus students. Either way, there are no mentions of children in the files at all and not even in the recently discovered peds.dff (which contained actual late 2000 - early 2001 build ped models)

the thing about the school buses was about a mission in the beta that was given by darkel (a beta character) to blow up school buses with children inside of them. and not just so gta 3 is not seen as a child killing simulator, but also becaude of 9/11. because darkel was some kind of terrorist or something. instead, that misssion got replaced by I scream, you scream but instead of blowing up children, you blow up some Forelli mafia members

least and it's very 02:06 very interesting because we never got to 02:09 see the sewer system within the game we 02:11 never got this heist and it's similar to 02:14 a heist room in GTA 5 I'd say so I 02:17 thought that was very cool and the next 02:19 one is actually a big old Tower or just 02:22 a skyscraper under construction it's a 02:25 big building in the Construction Yard 02:26 it's actually similar to the mile-high 02:28 club in GTA 5 that's that big building 02:31 that's been under construction since 02:33 2013 but these are just two of the many 02:37 maps that were found within the iOS 02:39 versions of this game there's another 02:41 one it was Chinatown I believe so very 02:44 very cool stuff right there now with the 02:46 finding of these maps and the game files 02:47 that leads us to our next cut content 02:50 from GTA 3 and that is actually a 02:52 multiplayer mode so this was cancelled 02:55 during development but the multiplayer 02:57 menu can still be accessed from within 02:58 the game files and enabled in the game 03:01 so you can actually have the menu where 03:03 you choose what you want to play in the 03:06 game pop up if you're on the PC 03:07 unfortunately though 03:08 it's obviously not accessible you can't 03:12 actually load up and play multiplayer 03:13 but these files are still within the 03:16 game and they're very cool as you can 03:17 see in the background we've got the 03:18 multiplayer menu with over eight 03:20 different game modes which is really 03:23 really cool and I guess you could say 03:25 that this would have been the 03:25 grandfather of GTA online right here but 03:28 back to the two maps I talked about 03:30 before and the many others that I didn't 03:32 mention the sewers in this big Tower 03:34 these were most likely multiplayer maps 03:37 that we would have been able to play on 03:39 in this multiplayer game of whether it'd 03:41 been team deathmatch any kind of races 03:43 or just something like that but of 03:45 course we know that this was cut from 03:47 the game and they never exists so I 03:51 would say that the sewer in the tower 03:52 are probably multiplayer maps versus 03:54 something that would have been in the 03:56 storyline that never made it into the 03:58 final version of the game moving on 04:00 let's talk about school buses and 04:02 children two things that go hand-in-hand 04:04 and it's something I've actually 04:06 explained on the channel before but it 04:08 has been confirmed that there was in 04:10 fact children and drivable school buses 04:13 in the beta version of GTA 3 now most of 04:17 this if not all of it was removed 04:19 probably to avoid any sort of 04:21 controversy we've talked about it before 04:24 politicians like to get involved in 04:26 these games and if you could kill 04:27 children in GTA it would be called a 04:29 child killing simulator most likely so 04:32 pre-release screenshots show drivable 04:34 school buses driving around the map in 04:36 the game but no children have ever been 04:39 physically seen in any sort of 04:42 pre-release screenshots videos trailers 04:44 or found within the game files of GTA 3 04:48 so there's auto's as well such as GTA Vice City 05:21 Sandra 05:23 gta4 even so there is leftover evidence 05:27 of school buses as far as children go 05:29 those cannot be found now one of my 05:32 favorite things to talk about in these 05:33 kind of videos are the beta maps so for 05:35 pretty much every grand theft auto we 05:37 can take a look at the beta maps what 05:39 was changed what they look like before 05:40 and there are minor changes in some of 05:43 them and others there are drastic 05:45 changes and as for GTA 3 I'd say it kind 05:48 of lands in the middle so the three 05:51 islands were originally named after 05:52 Liberty city's districts Portland was 05:55 originally called the industrial 05:57 district Staunton island was the 05:59 commercial area and shoreside vale was 06:02 the suburban area so that's very 06:04 interesting as well as the dam was 06:07 actually a lot smaller in the beta 06:10 version of this game or in the concept 06:12 xual stages versus what we have now 06:14 where it's a lot bigger and just a 06:17 pretty cool area to access in my opinion 06:19 but one of the major changes is that the 06:22 airport was actually meant to be north 06:24 of Staunton island meaning there was 06:25 added area in the north part of this 06:28 middle map and the airport was not in 06:30 shoreside vale so it's interesting how 06:33 that changed and why it was changed up 06:35 nonetheless it would have been cool to 06:37 have it in the northern part of the map 06:39 and then maybe in shoreside vale have 06:41 some added area where the airport is now 06:44 there was also an assortment of weapons 06:46 that never made it into the game ranging 06:48 from the nightstick which can be seen I 06:49 have one of the very first promotional 06:51 screenshots or trailers from GTA 3 we 06:54 see a police officer wielding a 06:56 nightstick here that's always a 06:58 legendary cool weapon to use within the 07:00 series one of my favorites land mines 07:03 were originally planned to be in the 07:04 game as well gotta love some land mines 07:07 the original sticky bombs I guess you 07:09 could say the rocket launcher scope 07:11 actually looked like a sniper rifle I'm 07:14 very glad that one was changed that's 07:17 just weird to have a sniper rifle scope 07:19 on a rocket launcher talk about quick 07:20 scoping and the last film was actually 07:23 the baseball bat so we know this appears 07:25 within gta3 it's a wooden baseball bat 07:28 but originally the bat was red and 07:31 yellow and it featured a red grip so 07:33 it's either a plastic toy baseball 07:36 or it was a painted metal one now this 07:39 is a very very minor thing cut from the 07:42 game but originally safehouses would 07:44 gradually approve in their appearance as 07:47 you progress through the storyline and 07:49 you gain more money and I love this I 07:51 love small details like this even though 07:54 you can't enter your safe house and walk 07:56 around in gta3 originally you probably 08:00 could have and it would be cool over 08:01 time to start out from the bottom you've 08:03 got your safe house it's all torn up 08:05 looks like a crack house you've got a 08:06 mattress and a static TV in there and 08:09 then as you progress to the storyline 08:10 this improves to the end where say 08:12 you've got a very like nice compound a 08:15 very nice modern Landmine guess can be said always miss in every GTA, but only VCS I think it fits well with Vic from army. First safe house in VCS isn't a house at all.
You do know hat the Beta cars still exist in the game files, in fact, a mod was made to bring back the most of GTA 3 Beta, including Darkel missions. I'm still looking for the mod, as I lost it once :I When I find it (if I do) then I'll link it :D

Found a glitch if you're in GTA III on mobile and you go into your safe house and you swipe away it from your phone and wait a little bit and get in you'll be in your safe house but if you don't have any bombs you'll be stuck in there and have to restart game

For sure san andreas looks a lot better. It wasnt a great looking game for its time but definitely higher texture graphics and better art design than in gta 3
there was a first person camera mode cut from the game. not aiming, but an actual first person view. there are animations for (almost) every weapon to back it up. this was, as we know, cut and was not touched until GTA V.
Interesting fact, the original GTA3 for ps2 used the real ford logo on the taxis/police cars. Not sure if they had the legal rights to do so since they never used real car brands in any other game. But in the original game if you look close it does say ford.
One thing i like about Claude is his voice less character. I feel like a silent killer through out the game. And that ending part where the reporter says "...a single gunman he saw was fleeing the seen.." Duuuude! I don't know bout you guys but that was my fave part!
also the gore mode cheat code for the ps2 when you put it in does not show up like the other cheat codes so you would have to shoot someons head arm or leg off to know if the cheat was active an i think 911 may also had something to do with that
One thing I really like about GTA III is that the game doesn’t tend to render graphics like it does in San Andreas or Vice City. Like it’s really smooth running.

Personally I think the sewer system with the vault could have been a mission that you would do a heist similar to the big score on GTA 5, not sure but that's what I think
I get the feeling that the bank vault and sewer were intended as the tutorial mission because you do rob and bank with catalina at the start so im guessing they were gonna let you actually play it before changing it
ACTUALLY, the "grandfather" of GTA Multiplayer/Online is in GTA2's LAN multiplayer, which, now supported by GTA2 GameHunter, is fully online multiplayer. EDIT: The names "Industrial district" and other districts also hail from GTA2's three main maps. And I think Claude's black jacket was made to resemble Claude Speed's look from GTA2 as well. If you make videos about GTA 2 as well, I'd happily subscribe!
A little insight to the Box Van. They Probably didn't call it the Luton van down to Copyright. I am From Luton in the UK and the Reason they are Called Luton Box Vans Are Because I think they May have Been Designed here First? I May be Wrong but there is no way Rockstar would have been able to use that Name in the Game
That doesn't even make sense that there would be files missing from the pc version that are in the mobile version. The mobile version is stripped down somewhat for one, and for 2, the pc version came out long, long before. Why would they go and add those missing things back to the game for the mobile version when it would take more space? Seems kind of pointless. And if they had already removed it, they surely wouldn't put it back or go and use a beta version for mobile.

Found a glitch if you're in GTA III on mobile and you go into your safe house and you swipe away it from your phone and wait a little bit and get in you'll be in your safe house but if you don't have any bombs you'll be stuck in there and have to restart game

there was a first person camera mode cut from the game. not aiming, but an actual first person view. there are animations for (almost) every weapon to back it up. this was, as we know, cut and was not touched until GTA V.

Interesting fact, the original GTA3 for ps2 used the real ford logo on the taxis/police cars. Not sure if they had the legal rights to do so since they never used real car brands in any other game. But in the original game if you look close it does say ford.
One thing i like about Claude is his voice less character. I feel like a silent killer through out the game. And that ending part where the reporter says "...a single gunman he saw was fleeing the seen.." Duuuude! I don't know bout you guys but that was my fave part!

That doesn't even make sense that there would be files missing from the pc version that are in the mobile version. The mobile version is stripped down somewhat for one, and for 2, the pc version came out long, long before. Why would they go and add those missing things back to the game for the mobile version when it would take more space? Seems kind of pointless. And if they had already removed it, they surely wouldn't put it back or go and use a beta version for mobile.
