The 1 Wanted Star turning into 2 Wanted Stars after a certain amount of time (even if you did nothing that would warrant an increase in Wanted Stars) is the most annoying thing I hate about the GTA5's cops.
@@FarisYKamal the game how already expanded it is, it sits at 65gb maybe 80gb now due to the updates, if they did that id guess 120 gb at most, if it was 200 gb that would be probably the best game of all games, not to mention now we are expanding our storage capacity and moving onto terabytes, I have at least 4 terabytes worth of memory, games are getting bigger thats just reality, 200gb rn for me is like pfft nothing, get with the times grandpa lol

I swear it's easier to die in 5 than 4, some jackass on a joyride could hit you while crossing the street and there goes you're 10 grand, oops. Not to mention in every universal GTA when a cop slams into YOU and YOU get a wanted star for it
Two things I strongly dislike about the game: 1. You can't push other cars, not even with a heavy truck. 2. Map, it's just one huge city and a lot of useless space. San andreas had a great map, There were 3 cities with many small towns, tons of easter eggs, ghost cars, area 69 etc.
Kodennn yeah, they should give the 3 protagonists all a different fighting style to make it look cooler and make people bleed when they get hit a few times
True, how common is it for someone to die after being knocked out? It's very rare for people to die from one punch KO's so it annoys me that you can easily kill someone with one punch in GTA V
North Yankton was such a cocktease. I remember seeing a screenshot of it in Game Informer and getting super excited for snow, then I got the game and found out we get to go there all of twice.
DBCom i hate that they switched johhny and lewis fighting from nikos. niko had a nice quick jab at longest range, whereas jonny and luis have a left hook style jab, its a little different, its a bit slower and has less reach and less straight of an angle than nikos jab so its better to stick closer range on the DLCs and use the push kick/ stomp for longest range or sometimes you come up short tryna throw the "jab" niko had the best hands of all GTA series

I have to disagree with #3. It was pretty clear that they were all pretty developed, Trevor is just a psychopath, Franklin is trying to make a name of himself and Michael was a badass retired criminal. Rockstar made you feel for all the characters, which is why most of us went with option C in the final mission
Option C just simply because our humanlity. We just dont want to lose anyone. I really feel the story just a mess. It should have been focus on 1 character instead. Like what they did before.
Sandvich Collector #TF2 for life Johnny, to me personally had such an awesome story in TLAD, even if he had to die, he didn’t deserve the death he got. Falling for Ashley again and even slipping into crystal and then getting his head stomped in by Trevor? That seriously pissed me off for a long, long time
Well originally... the "C" Option was gonna be some kind of "Kill Franklin" and Lamar gets a bigger role. But something happened between Lamar and he wasn't able to participate in the recording sessions thus this made it the 'Deathwish' option. In context, that option makes it more understandable why it even has that. Tbh it's either just kill Trevor or Deathwish, nobody really picked Michael but I could see some reasonings why he could be picked. If I had to choose between the two anyway I would've picked Michael. It's a hard decision but it's mainly because of how he would snitch over Trevor too. He had his wrongs as well. It would've been way more interesting if it just had the "Kill Franklin" option.
@@Nikexel option c was never going to be to kill Franklin. Originally he was supposed to die WAY earlier in the game and Lamar was gonna take over then, but he was never supposed to be a choice to die at the end
Number 5 : I completely agree, the lack of interiors was one of the worst parts of GTA V, though I appreciate we still have some cool interiors. 4. Agreed I was disappointed that their was never a Single Player DLC, I wish they would focus equally on GTA V and GTA Online, but at least GTA V got a few dlcs from GTA Online. 3. I Completely disagree, GTA V had the most well written, compelling, and had the most emotions throughout the story, I just have a few problems with the story but overall GTA V had a Fantastic Story. 2. I didn't find the storyline weak but it definitely could have been better. But let's be honest, they only threw in a story to keep the fans busy while they finished up on their true project, GTA Online.
THE JG SHOW | The NPCs and psychics are mostly the same in Online. Apart from customised cars not showing up on the street and not being able to speak or throw yourself throw the windshield in a bad crash. The NPC variety is basically the same, though.
Don't think I'd agree there. I liked the difference in tone, like they did with The Ballad of Gay Tony. I prefer the dark & seriousness of GTA IV & TLaD, but I like that R* switches it up.
Imagine there was a feature in Online where you could use the comedy club and do a stand up event through your headset and have players gather around and take turns to do their own bit, stuff like that would be reminiscent of the old gaming communities where you could make connections with people through the games, what could have been 🤷🏻♂️
I was expecting radio music choices to be included here. The radio stations weren't as good as previous games. I liked the rock station in this game, but it was still nowhere near as awesome as Vice City or San Andreas.
I’m going to disagree on #3. I have no idea why people think that Franklin and Trevor are “underdeveloped”. They are plenty of videos on UA-cam about the Philosophy of Trevor Philips and the satirical way on how people are playing GTA in general. Franklin is someone that I could relate to (not the criminal way). He’s like the underdog in this story. Also GTA V’s story is far more superior and funnier than the previous games. Especially the satire on the Los Angeles area and Hollywood system. I personally live an hour away from LA and it’s pretty accurate on how the game portrays LA and American culture. GTA IV’s story was unfortunately forgettable. I don’t know why but I find this story to be the weakest in the series. I do like the characters in IV but the story wasn’t that strong to me. I’ll respect it for having some darker themes into it. Overall, V is one of my favorite games ever and I’m happy to say that.
My gripe about it was that the story mode was waaaaaay too short. After beating gta 4 and San Andreas (both had nice long story modes with a plethora of missions) and then playing gta 5 it's like man wtf is this?! And you die waaaaaaay easier in V than you do in any other game. I suppose that's for realism but at the end of the day, it's still a game
I think in SA if you had minimum health then was the easiest to die. But if you had max health on the other hand you were like Michael and Trevor in the Paleto score mission lol
@@night6724 keep in mind that some of the 69 missions are incredibly short. each setup mission counts as its own mission, including buying masks and broiler suits. it feels more like rockstar artificially inflated the number of missions in the game so they could make another sex joke
@HS Melvin Lopez i know, but i feel that is more excusable for two reasons: 1: the game is pretty old, and you expect succeeding games to last longer, especially considering the extended amount of content later consoles can have 2: V has the checkpoint system which most of the games lack. that should provide some leeway for longer missions without punishing the player too harshly for failing. in SA, only end of the line had checkpoints, and you still lost your weapons if you died unless you went out of your way to date the right girl, providing some incentive to restart anyway
@@Underworlder5 losing weapons when dying annoys me the most. I spend a lot of time to find weapons that cannot be found easily and then I die and because of the old games poor design I lose ALL of these weapons. Glad this doesn't happen in gta 5 but you still lose them if you get busted but that's barely noticeable because we don't get busted a lot in gta 5.
In my opinion the 3 character approach took away from what you could actually do in the game, technically they had to develop many more antagonists to cater to all characters and although his game was fun it wasn't as immersive as the rest, i played IV so much i never got bored of it, i played V and clocked it 3 times and didnt want to do it again. 1 protagonist in 6 would be better
The reason people still remember Niko and CJ is the emotional bond Gta IV and SA made thru their impressive storyline. And Gta V was severely weak about it. Non of the protagonist succeeded in making a bond with me. And i predict that after some years or Gta games people will forget Gta V. But still remember Gta SA, IV, VC

Two things I dislike about GTA Online is when you create a private lobby to play with friends and such, you can’t edit the lobby so you can’t make it where there aren’t any pedestrians you can’t make it so the cops don’t chase. It’s just very annoying when my friends and I try to have fun and then all of a sudden the cops are on us. Another thing is how tedious and annoying it is to get your strength up. If you want to be a max out your skills, it’ll be so long to max out your strength. I agree with Zac and think that Rockstar should add a gym feature
@darealarusham the fact that we can replay any mission we have done at any time is more convenience than laziness. is it really fun to play through 3/4 of the game again just to access the mission you actually wanted to replay? might as well remove camera controls and bailing out because those features were not there at the beginning and inconvenient gameplay is fun
When it’s 1 character in GTAV it makes story mode much more better it would be nice to see franklin, Trevor, & Michael’s, back story’s it makes the story lines a more in depth game experience
You are wrong about the characters being underdeveloped. They each represent the different approach Rockstar had on previous GTA titles and other games they've worked on. Trevor is the original rampage, manic centred GTA games, Franklin who's story at the end is depicted by the Players own playstyle represents GTA3 era by not revealing much about his backstory and he goes along and enjoys the ride whilst being very much in the middle of events and in a morally grey area, and lastly Michael represents the more indepth, deeper story telling Rockstar now delivers with their games, GTA4 onwards.
I know this is going to be unpopular but I think 5 is so overrated. I just couldn't get into the story that much. I didn't find it investing at all, especially compared to games like 4, the Vice City's, and San Andreas. Trevor was just annoying. The villains too weren't big characters and personalities like in other games. I'm not saying I hated it, but people do overrate it I feel.
Walkerman404 You're not alone, just in the minority unfortunately. Story is weak. Don't like the character changes as you never bond with them. Car physics are looney tune cartoonish. GTA 4 got the physics, gunshots and character mobility right. GTA 5 lost its soul for me.
Kai Campbell yeah 4 got it so right. The story, the characters, everything just fitted together nicely. 5 has cool moments, but probably because it's the most recent one, people think it's the best one it seems, apart from San Andreas maybe.
Walkerman404 GTA 5 is a brilliant technical accomplishment. I would never deny that. But to me it's quantity over quality, whereas San Andreas was a balance of both. I think (hope 😦) the developers will retrace back to their roots maybe in the 6th game in the franchise. Keep the customisation, Activitys that the new generation love. But give the millennials our gameplay, character involvement and story back. Everyone's happy then. 😊
Hey, Zac!!! This is my opinion of things that i don't like about GTA 5!!! 1. GTA 5 only had 69 short story missions (I wish GTA 5 had at least 100-200 missions like GTA SA) 2. No story DLC (I wish GTA 5 had Episodes From Los Santos DLC like TBOGT and TLAD making GTA 4 a complete game!!!) 3. GTA 5 weapons, car sound is not loud enough (Nerf Gun Sound) like GTA 4 real weapons, car sound!!! 4. GTA 5 sound is not loud enough so i had to turn up the volume about 60% in my gaming laptop be able to play GTA 5 properly!!! 5. GTA 5 doesn't had basketball, gym, playing casino (GTA Online had it!!!), can't eat in Burger Shot, can't dual-wield weapons like GTA SA, no gang war and no GPS speech navigation while driving like in GTA 4!!! 6. What's the point of releasing GTA 5 again in PS5??? I already had GTA 5 PC version playing on my gaming laptop!!! 7. Can't crouch, can't walking while crouching, lack of interiors and side roll left, right like GTA SA!!! 8. GTA 5 Country Music Radio Station need to add more better songs and improve it in GTA 6!!! 9. Doing Yoga in GTA 5 is really boring!!! 10. Ahmad Melhem i think gta 4 cops r the best. Even while fighting if a ped hits Niko infront of a cop the cop arrests him. Its fun when in Francis Int airport i point gun at the fat security guards and they start shooting at Niko and suddenly the cops come and shoot the security to death
You know still to this day I believe San Andreas was my favorite game, simply because even compared with HD titles like 4 and 5 SA had the most. Think about it, a food system, physyque system, leveling up, barbers, the first mod shop, specialized mod shops! (I had such high hopes for Benny's), amazing attention to story, and a likeable protagonist. (I don't like Michael, or Franklin, and shouldn't like Trevor, but I do)
Wow.. Some really strong points that resonated with me esp the WEAK STORYLINE. Basically Rockstar made it up for me thru RDR2. I also don't like Trevor's missions. Especially that Merriweather heist which needs you to get a submarine and after all the grind work you get ZILCH returns. Hoping GTA6 will be a redemption for Rockstar.
I absolutely loved the campaign, its easily in my top 5 campaigns, i literally cried when it was over because i know i would never feels the same as i did throughout the story.
Hey Zac, great video, here’s some thing that would be awesome in Story Mode. Mors Mutual Insurance for all cars, you can use it on whatever vehicle you want it for in the Online mode but not the story (this is Grand Theft Auto after all) and why can’t you buy bunkers and biker businesses such as Weed farms? Also the driving mechanics have always been terrible in the game from day one, vehicles do nothing but slip and slide (I could swear they used grease to make the roadways in the game).
1.There is no good DLC 2.No restaurant interiors 3.You constantly get a wanted level just for bumping into someone 4.It is so hard to escape the cops.In gta San Andreas it is very easy.It is silly but you do have hope.Gta 4 is more realistic but you can still escape the cops at the Algonquin apartment are sleep or you can just swim 5.You have a useless large map where it is highly uninteresting to explore the country side.
About the cops, you made a good point. It's so nonsense, e.g. if you commit a crime Strawberry, and go hide in Trevor's bathroom in Sandy Shores, they know exactly that you're there. And even worse, once I was as Michael using the subway. I was reading posts on his Lifeinvader. Out of nowhere a NPC called a cop and I was with 1 star wanted level. It is so nonsense and gets in my nerves
i thought the cops were hyper aggressive but you could lose them in a bush which is what i did all the time. just crotch in a bush and as long as they didnt see you go into it, they cant find you. they also wouldnt follow you underground

I strongly disagree that GTA V should feel hollow and not have as good of a story as San Andreas. I love San Andreas but the story in that game was awful, and many of the extra things you could do, were pretty pointless. I think GTA V is a better game on absolutely every level. Would I like more things to do in GTA V, a larger map, Casinos and such...Yes of course I would love that, but what GTA V does have just feels so much better and tighter than anything that came before.
I think GTA 5 suffers because it includes 3 playable characters a lot of focus and detail was placed on this rather than on the points you have mentioned.... nobody really asked for 3 playable characters :(
That's true, but GTA 4 playable characters were in separate DLC's that way GTA 4 was able to focus on Niko and other aspects of the game in the main story
The no wounding thing in GTA 5 really annoyed me, I did a run of GTA 4 only wounding cops (where possible) made it a bit more a challenge and kinda worked with Nikos story or redemption real shame they cut it out, also I know they were pushing people to GTA online but I hated how little there was to do after completing the game other than some occasional muggings and armoured vans, I was hoping for more of a RDR style with random events and bounties always regenerating.
The reason GTA 5 had less interiors because Xbox 360 and PS3 had less Download Space at the time and some people will be like "Sam, how did GTA 4 get more interiors at the time?" The main focus at the time was passtimes and gameplay. Graphics wasn't really their main focus from the first years of the hd era.
Good vid and I respect the opinions given, but I highly disagree with the story, especially for Trevor and the cops point. It was always the case that when you bumped into cops at the wrong time, you could lose a lot of progress. Next, I personally had much bigger problems with losing police in IV than in V - I never was able to escape that stupid circle without being seen while in V, it was a blast hiding from cops and finding good hiding spots that added a lot to the intuity and general feeling of the game. Now, Trevor. Where was he ever predictable. He first appears and kicks of a surprising kill that left my mouth open. After that, every single time I thought "ok, now he can't surprise me anymore", he goes ahead and does something really big. Beginning with only the scenes when you switch to him, you learn a lot about his habits, character, and general behavior and lifestyle but it's always surprising and funny to watch. When he meets Michael, you learn that he actually has relationships to Amanda and the kids as well, thus further developing his character. When you thought, ok now, he's just gonna kill off the tortured guy, he let's him go and even gives him a drive to the airport. When being provoked in a minor way for his standards, he kills Floyd and Debra, lies to Wade about it and we learn that he has done that bevor to another group of people that Wade knew. Out of the three protagonists, I would have expected Trev the last to take over and run a strip club regarding his look, hygiene and behavior but he seems to be successful. Overall, he has an odd understanding of manners and morals, but he has one and lives up to it. To conclude, imo especially Trevors story is developed well and, besides Michaels, the best written one.
My Top 5 Things I disliked about GTA V was: 1. Not having San Fierro and Las Venturas included in the game/map, as it would have been a lot of fun to be in a modern San Francisco parody city in this game with GTA signature satire as well as being able to go to clubs and gamble in Las Venturas with a bright vibrant night life with weird Elvis impersonators. 2. Not being able to fully customize your character (possibly playing as a female or other race like Asian or Hispanic) and choosing dialogue options (this is a feature I thoroughly enjoy from Bethesda or BioWare games like Mass Effect and Fallout) I know GTA hasn't had this ability in the past but would have been a great feature. 3. Not having 4 players in the story mode instead of just 3 (hear me out). It could focus on one or two main characters with the other two or three being primarily supporting characters. It would also have been pretty fun to have friends like when I was younger physically come over and do co-op missions or play around the expansive map as the other characters (Like San Andreas). And with four total playable characters it would be fun to go around town as a posse and switch perspective during missions. Possibly have each character buy property in the four main areas (Los Santos, San Fierro, the Grand Senora or general desert, and Las Venturas). 4. Not having more customization in where you live and what's in your safe house(s). Possibly even creating your own personal families like in the Sims games. Making the game feel more immersive. Possibly even allowing your character to choose a cover job like restaurant server, chauffeur, cop, medic, pilot, accountant, marine biologist etc. 5. Not being able to interact with more of the city. Such as talking to random civilians and store clerks. Losing weight or building muscle by working out and weight lifting. Eating at restaurants and gaining weight. Going into more interiors of buildings and exploring. Things mentioned in the video.
I just want the cops to be more realistic. Like.. if I'm on top of a mountain and I shoot the only hitchhiker in the area, how do I get a one star level? No one knows I did that.. I also hate that they just know what alley you're hiding in. At the same time however, If you kill someone in the city I understand the quick response. Pedestrians take out their phones or literally tell you they're calling the police on you, so I understand this.. I just wanted that to be more realistic. Other than that, I think it was a solid work of art.
When I’m riding in my nice car and get shot by players when I’m not even driving near them or at them. Then I have to go get my oppressor mk 2 and blow them up
5 things I dislike about GTA V 1. You can't drive around North Yankton 2. The map is not as big as San Andreas 3. You can't buy houses like San Andreas 4. You can't drive the train 5. You can't play as Lamar or Reqruit Homies like San Andreas
Things I don’t like. Can’t go in to restaurants like clucking bell or burger shot. Cant work out at the gym. Can’t access bars like tequila la or Bahamas mamas. Can’t buy more houses through out the city. Can’t access fort Zancudo, the police station or human labs without getting wanted. Can’t get a girlfriend. I also wish you could dance at night clubs or do low rider missions too. And lastly we need to be able to access buildings that are used in missions, after the missions done like life invader, Franklins aunts house, Lester’s house, and the comedy club.
Wanted level: I hated the cops in GTA IV. At least in V you can hide, in IV you needed to get out of that d*amn circle otherwise they just keep coming for you which made the game not fun for me. There are so many ways to lose a wanted in V. To list a few go I've been doing; go underground, get in a heli and go straight up, diving under water, climbing ladders to get to the tops of buildings and sometimes simply going around the corner. It's actually a bit more fun messing with them. *Remember the cops in V always go to where the crime happened first then they scout out to look for you. Use this to your advantage.
Maybe one complaint even included in Red Dead Redemption are the fight and jump mechanics. Just simple brawling and climbing. The platform mechanics are really stiff making you easily tumbling down. Rockstar is all about shooting and driving, but what if you want to perform martial arts and parkour? Something Ubisoft did with Assassin's Creed and Watch_Dogs. Or games like Sleeping Dogs.
The things I hate about GTA 5 are 5:Franklin leaves his gang 4:Interiors only in missions are not available in singleplayer and in gta 4 they are 3:The map is too big. Los Santos' size is as big as the GTA san andreas map and there is only LS as city and a lot of useless country side space, bigger than the map, with towns and mountains 2:No singleplayer DLC 1:No gang storyline. It would be cool if we had a gang-related storyline, like in GTA San andreas, recruiting homies and taking enemy Hood.I also include that Ballars have Grove Street and not the families and lamar being a side protagonist. In beta, Lamar was gonna be a playable protagonist instead of Franklin, so the trio was Trevor, Michael and Lamar.
Same but the only issue about the cops is that the pedestrians or npcs calls the cops if you stand in front of them for too long and when you stand in front of the cops, they busted you.. these are the only issues about the cops and the npcs
@@Name-xx9yx also, animals can call the cops on you. seriously, the only check that is needed is that the caller is a living being. now that i think about it, animals count as a crime witness in skyrim. why do programmers never check that the caller has to be a person?
@@Name-xx9yx if tvtropes is to be believed, dataminers discovered it. that might explain why you earn a wanted level even if no one saw you commit a crime. a coyote or elk might have seen it and the game counts it as a witness. it happens in skyrim, so it would not be unbelievable if it happened in GTA
Yes the cops are insane but if you can get to a large train tunnel and drive in the cops wont follow you can stay till your wanted level goes down. Also i feel that though the story may seem weak at times with the 3 characters and splitting the pay outs more missions would have been nice. But with that said heist and crew pay out should have been layed out a little different why should lester get a 20 percent cut all he does is come up with options Michael does the planning and the crew should all get a set pay cut say $10,000 not one based on the score the biggest cut going to Michael,Trevor, and Franklin. 1 last complaint the stock markets should both be available to the player off line due to Lester giving Franklin the assination missions and stock tips for said missions.
Two pet peeves of mine with GTA V. First, no vigilante mode. I know GTA 4 diminished the fun of it by demonetizing the regular free-roaming mini missions. Vigilante mode was a fun way to earn money earlier in the story of Vice City and San Andreas. The second thing that bothers me is the only time you get enough in-game money to fully enjoy GTA V is at the end of the single-player story. Also, once you have the money and you can buy a tank or the attack helicopter, no missions exist to effectively use them. Agree with the police. The SUVs with the two SWAT officers riding on the side are the worst. They're hanging onto the side of vehicle travelling at excessive speeds and, for some reason, have remarkable accuracy.
Cool video but the number 1 thing I dislike about GTA V is the terrible, terrible NPC drivers. They always get in the way and cut you off relentlessly, as well as pull out in front of you from stop streets - I've had countless accidents due to dumb NPC drivers. It's doubly annoying on missions (especially in GTA Online) when there is a time limit and dumb NPCs drive out in front of you and you lose time from hitting or avoiding them. GTA IV and SA had better NPC drivers imo, and GTA IV also had working indicators on NPC cars so you could sometimes see when one was changing direction but this seems to have been dropped for GTA V.

Reviving people is not real ! The killer should get arrested by police ! I think gta v focuses on that.
Two things I strongly dislike about the game:
1. You can't push other cars, not even with a heavy truck.
2. Map, it's just one huge city and a lot of useless space. San andreas had a great map, There were 3 cities with many small towns, tons of easter eggs, ghost cars, area 69 etc.

DBCom i hate that they switched johhny and lewis fighting from nikos. niko had a nice quick jab at longest range, whereas jonny and luis have a left hook style jab, its a little different, its a bit slower and has less reach and less straight of an angle than nikos jab so its better to stick closer range on the DLCs and use the push kick/ stomp for longest range or sometimes you come up short tryna throw the "jab"

I have to disagree with #3. It was pretty clear that they were all pretty developed, Trevor is just a psychopath, Franklin is trying to make a name of himself and Michael was a badass retired criminal. Rockstar made you feel for all the characters, which is why most of us went with option C in the final mission
Option C just simply because our humanlity. We just dont want to lose anyone. I really feel the story just a mess. It should have been focus on 1 character instead. Like what they did before.

Well originally... the "C" Option was gonna be some kind of "Kill Franklin" and Lamar gets a bigger role. But something happened between Lamar and he wasn't able to participate in the recording sessions thus this made it the 'Deathwish' option. In context, that option makes it more understandable why it even has that.
Tbh it's either just kill Trevor or Deathwish, nobody really picked Michael but I could see some reasonings why he could be picked. If I had to choose between the two anyway I would've picked Michael. It's a hard decision but it's mainly because of how he would snitch over Trevor too. He had his wrongs as well.
It would've been way more interesting if it just had the "Kill Franklin" option.

Once you understood how cops find you, you know some hiding spots where they will never get you: tram/light rail tunnels and most train tunnels.

I was expecting radio music choices to be included here. The radio stations weren't as good as previous games. I liked the rock station in this game, but it was still nowhere near as awesome as Vice City or San Andreas.

I’m going to disagree on #3. I have no idea why people think that Franklin and Trevor are “underdeveloped”. They are plenty of videos on UA-cam about the Philosophy of Trevor Philips and the satirical way on how people are playing GTA in general. Franklin is someone that I could relate to (not the criminal way). He’s like the underdog in this story. Also GTA V’s story is far more superior and funnier than the previous games. Especially the satire on the Los Angeles area and Hollywood system. I personally live an hour away from LA and it’s pretty accurate on how the game portrays LA and American culture. GTA IV’s story was unfortunately forgettable. I don’t know why but I find this story to be the weakest in the series. I do like the characters in IV but the story wasn’t that strong to me. I’ll respect it for having some darker themes into it. Overall, V is one of my favorite games ever and I’m happy to say that.
Hopefully, GTA 6 will have more business interactions in single player.

My gripe about it was that the story mode was waaaaaay too short. After beating gta 4 and San Andreas (both had nice long story modes with a plethora of missions) and then playing gta 5 it's like man wtf is this?!
And you die waaaaaaay easier in V than you do in any other game. I suppose that's for realism but at the end of the day, it's still a game

@@night6724 keep in mind that some of the 69 missions are incredibly short. each setup mission counts as its own mission, including buying masks and broiler suits. it feels more like rockstar artificially inflated the number of missions in the game so they could make another sex joke
@HS Melvin Lopez i know, but i feel that is more excusable for two reasons:
1: the game is pretty old, and you expect succeeding games to last longer, especially considering the extended amount of content later consoles can have
2: V has the checkpoint system which most of the games lack. that should provide some leeway for longer missions without punishing the player too harshly for failing. in SA, only end of the line had checkpoints, and you still lost your weapons if you died unless you went out of your way to date the right girl, providing some incentive to restart anyway
@@Underworlder5 losing weapons when dying annoys me the most. I spend a lot of time to find weapons that cannot be found easily and then I die and because of the old games poor design I lose ALL of these weapons. Glad this doesn't happen in gta 5 but you still lose them if you get busted but that's barely noticeable because we don't get busted a lot in gta 5.

In my opinion the 3 character approach took away from what you could actually do in the game, technically they had to develop many more antagonists to cater to all characters and although his game was fun it wasn't as immersive as the rest, i played IV so much i never got bored of it, i played V and clocked it 3 times and didnt want to do it again. 1 protagonist in 6 would be better

Two things I dislike about GTA Online is when you create a private lobby to play with friends and such, you can’t edit the lobby so you can’t make it where there aren’t any pedestrians you can’t make it so the cops don’t chase. It’s just very annoying when my friends and I try to have fun and then all of a sudden the cops are on us. Another thing is how tedious and annoying it is to get your strength up. If you want to be a max out your skills, it’ll be so long to max out your strength. I agree with Zac and think that Rockstar should add a gym feature

You are wrong about the characters being underdeveloped. They each represent the different approach Rockstar had on previous GTA titles and other games they've worked on. Trevor is the original rampage, manic centred GTA games, Franklin who's story at the end is depicted by the Players own playstyle represents GTA3 era by not revealing much about his backstory and he goes along and enjoys the ride whilst being very much in the middle of events and in a morally grey area, and lastly Michael represents the more indepth, deeper story telling Rockstar now delivers with their games, GTA4 onwards.

I know this is going to be unpopular but I think 5 is so overrated. I just couldn't get into the story that much. I didn't find it investing at all, especially compared to games like 4, the Vice City's, and San Andreas. Trevor was just annoying. The villains too weren't big characters and personalities like in other games. I'm not saying I hated it, but people do overrate it I feel.

I think (hope 😦) the developers will retrace back to their roots maybe in the 6th game in the franchise. Keep the customisation, Activitys that the new generation love. 1. GTA 5 only had 69 short story missions (I wish GTA 5 had at least 100-200 missions like GTA SA)
2. No story DLC (I wish GTA 5 had Episodes From Los Santos DLC like TBOGT and TLAD making GTA 4 a complete game!!!)
3. GTA 5 weapons, car sound is not loud enough (Nerf Gun Sound) like GTA 4 real weapons, car sound!!!
4. GTA 5 sound is not loud enough so i had to turn up the volume about 60% in my gaming laptop be able to play GTA 5 properly!!!
5. GTA 5 doesn't had basketball, gym, playing casino (GTA Online had it!!!), can't eat in Burger Shot, can't dual-wield weapons like GTA SA, no gang war and no GPS speech navigation while driving like in GTA 4!!!

Well the slogan on the side of their cars reads "Obey and Survive" so that gives you some perspective on what kind of department they are.
You know still to this day I believe San Andreas was my favorite game, simply because even compared with HD titles like 4 and 5 SA had the most. Think about it, a food system, physyque system, leveling up, barbers, the first mod shop, specialized mod shops! (I had such high hopes for Benny's), amazing attention to story, and a likeable protagonist. (I don't like Michael, or Franklin, and shouldn't like Trevor, but I do)

Wow.. Some really strong points that resonated with me esp the WEAK STORYLINE. Basically Rockstar made it up for me thru RDR2. I also don't like Trevor's missions. Especially that Merriweather heist which needs you to get a submarine and after all the grind work you get ZILCH returns. Hoping GTA6 will be a redemption for Rockstar.
I absolutely loved the campaign, its easily in my top 5 campaigns, i literally cried when it was over because i know i would never feels the same as i did throughout the story.

Mors Mutual Insurance for all cars, you can use it on whatever vehicle you want it for in the Online mode but not the story (this is Grand Theft Auto after all) and why can’t you buy bunkers and biker businesses such as Weed farms?
Also the driving mechanics have always been terrible in the game from day one, vehicles do nothing but slip and slide (I could swear they used grease to make the roadways in the game).

I strongly disagree that GTA V should feel hollow and not have as good of a story as San Andreas. I love San Andreas but the story in that game was awful, and many of the extra things you could do, were pretty pointless. I think GTA V is a better game on absolutely every level. Would I like more things to do in GTA V, a larger map, Casinos and such...Yes of course I would love that, but what GTA V does have just feels so much better and tighter than anything that came before.

I think GTA 5 suffers because it includes 3 playable characters a lot of focus and detail was placed on this rather than on the points you have mentioned.... nobody really asked for 3 playable characters :(
That's true, but GTA 4 playable characters were in separate DLC's that way GTA 4 was able to focus on Niko and other aspects of the game in the main story

The no wounding thing in GTA 5 really annoyed me, I did a run of GTA 4 only wounding cops (where possible) made it a bit more a challenge and kinda worked with Nikos story or redemption real shame they cut it out, also I know they were pushing people to GTA online but I hated how little there was to do after completing the game other than some occasional muggings and armoured vans, I was hoping for more of a RDR style with random events and bounties always regenerating.

The reason GTA 5 had less interiors because Xbox 360 and PS3 had less Download Space at the time and some people will be like
"Sam, how did GTA 4 get more interiors at the time?" The main focus at the time was passtimes and gameplay.
Graphics wasn't really their main focus from the first years of the hd era.

Good vid and I respect the opinions given, but I highly disagree with the story, especially for Trevor and the cops point.
It was always the case that when you bumped into cops at the wrong time, you could lose a lot of progress. Next, I personally had much bigger problems with losing police in IV than in V - I never was able to escape that stupid circle without being seen while in V, it was a blast hiding from cops and finding good hiding spots that added a lot to the intuity and general feeling of the game.
Now, Trevor. Where was he ever predictable. He first appears and kicks of a surprising kill that left my mouth open. After that, every single time I thought "ok, now he can't surprise me anymore", he goes ahead and does something really big. Beginning with only the scenes when you switch to him, you learn a lot about his habits, character, and general behavior and lifestyle but it's always surprising and funny to watch. When he meets Michael, you learn that he actually has relationships to Amanda and the kids as well, thus further developing his character. When you thought, ok now, he's just gonna kill off the tortured guy, he let's him go and even gives him a drive to the airport. When being provoked in a minor way for his standards, he kills Floyd and Debra, lies to Wade about it and we learn that he has done that bevor to another group of people that Wade knew. Out of the three protagonists, I would have expected Trev the last to take over and run a strip club regarding his look, hygiene and behavior but he seems to be successful. Overall, he has an odd understanding of manners and morals, but he has one and lives up to it.
To conclude, imo especially Trevors story is developed well and, besides Michaels, the best written one.

My Top 5 Things I disliked about GTA V was:
1. Not having San Fierro and Las Venturas included in the game/map, as it would have been a lot of fun to be in a modern San Francisco parody city in this game with GTA signature satire as well as being able to go to clubs and gamble in Las Venturas with a bright vibrant night life with weird Elvis impersonators.
2. Not being able to fully customize your character (possibly playing as a female or other race like Asian or Hispanic) and choosing dialogue options (this is a feature I thoroughly enjoy from Bethesda or BioWare games like Mass Effect and Fallout) I know GTA hasn't had this ability in the past but would have been a great feature.
3. Not having 4 players in the story mode instead of just 3 (hear me out). It could focus on one or two main characters with the other two or three being primarily supporting characters. It would also have been pretty fun to have friends like when I was younger physically come over and do co-op missions or play around the expansive map as the other characters (Like San Andreas). And with four total playable characters it would be fun to go around town as a posse and switch perspective during missions. Possibly have each character buy property in the four main areas (Los Santos, San Fierro, the Grand Senora or general desert, and Las Venturas).
4. Not having more customization in where you live and what's in your safe house(s). Possibly even creating your own personal families like in the Sims games. Making the game feel more immersive. Possibly even allowing your character to choose a cover job like restaurant server, chauffeur, cop, medic, pilot, accountant, marine biologist etc.
5. Not being able to interact with more of the city. Such as talking to random civilians and store clerks. Losing weight or building muscle by working out and weight lifting. Eating at restaurants and gaining weight. Going into more interiors of buildings and exploring. Things mentioned in the video.

I just want the cops to be more realistic. Like.. if I'm on top of a mountain and I shoot the only hitchhiker in the area, how do I get a one star level? No one knows I did that.. I also hate that they just know what alley you're hiding in.
At the same time however, If you kill someone in the city I understand the quick response. Pedestrians take out their phones or literally tell you they're calling the police on you, so I understand this.. I just wanted that to be more realistic. Other than that, I think it was a solid work of art.

Things I don’t like. Can’t go in to restaurants like clucking bell or burger shot. Cant work out at the gym. Can’t access bars like tequila la or Bahamas mamas. Can’t buy more houses through out the city. Can’t access fort Zancudo, the police station or human labs without getting wanted. Can’t get a girlfriend. I also wish you could dance at night clubs or do low rider missions too. And lastly we need to be able to access buildings that are used in missions, after the missions done like life invader, Franklins aunts house, Lester’s house, and the comedy club.

Wanted level: I hated the cops in GTA IV. At least in V you can hide, in IV you needed to get out of that d*amn circle otherwise they just keep coming for you which made the game not fun for me. There are so many ways to lose a wanted in V. To list a few go I've been doing; go underground, get in a heli and go straight up, diving under water, climbing ladders to get to the tops of buildings and sometimes simply going around the corner. It's actually a bit more fun messing with them. *Remember the cops in V always go to where the crime happened first then they scout out to look for you. Use this to your advantage.
AND THE PHYSICS ARE NOT EVEN GOOD GTA IV PHYSICS ARE GREATER THAN GTA 5

Maybe one complaint even included in Red Dead Redemption are the fight and jump mechanics. Just simple brawling and climbing. The platform mechanics are really stiff making you easily tumbling down. Rockstar is all about shooting and driving, but what if you want to perform martial arts and parkour? Something Ubisoft did with Assassin's Creed and Watch_Dogs. Or games like Sleeping Dogs.

5:Franklin leaves his gang
4:Interiors only in missions are not available in singleplayer and in gta 4 they are
3:The map is too big. Los Santos' size is as big as the GTA san andreas map and there is only LS as city and a lot of useless country side space, bigger than the map, with towns and mountains
2:No singleplayer DLC
1:No gang storyline. It would be cool if we had a gang-related storyline, like in GTA San andreas, recruiting homies and taking enemy Hood.I also include that Ballars have Grove Street and not the families and lamar being a side protagonist. In beta, Lamar was gonna be a playable protagonist instead of Franklin, so the trio was Trevor, Michael and Lamar.

Yes the cops are insane but if you can get to a large train tunnel and drive in the cops wont follow you can stay till your wanted level goes down. Also i feel that though the story may seem weak at times with the 3 characters and splitting the pay outs more missions would have been nice. But with that said heist and crew pay out should have been layed out a little different why should lester get a 20 percent cut all he does is come up with options Michael does the planning and the crew should all get a set pay cut say $10,000 not one based on the score the biggest cut going to Michael,Trevor, and Franklin. 1 last complaint the stock markets should both be available to the player off line due to Lester giving Franklin the assination missions and stock tips for said missions.

Two pet peeves of mine with GTA V. First, no vigilante mode. I know GTA 4 diminished the fun of it by demonetizing the regular free-roaming mini missions. Vigilante mode was a fun way to earn money earlier in the story of Vice City and San Andreas.
The second thing that bothers me is the only time you get enough in-game money to fully enjoy GTA V is at the end of the single-player story. Also, once you have the money and you can buy a tank or the attack helicopter, no missions exist to effectively use them.
Agree with the police. The SUVs with the two SWAT officers riding on the side are the worst. They're hanging onto the side of vehicle travelling at excessive speeds and, for some reason, have remarkable accuracy.
Gta 5 is the worst gta game ever made. Only good thing in this game is graphics.

Cool video but the number 1 thing I dislike about GTA V is the terrible, terrible NPC drivers. They always get in the way and cut you off relentlessly, as well as pull out in front of you from stop streets - I've had countless accidents due to dumb NPC drivers. It's doubly annoying on missions (especially in GTA Online) when there is a time limit and dumb NPCs drive out in front of you and you lose time from hitting or avoiding them. GTA IV and SA had better NPC drivers imo, and GTA IV also had working indicators on NPC cars so you could sometimes see when one was changing direction but this seems to have been dropped for GTA V.
