    I'm actually beginning to make my own massage candles and fetish drip candles (I work at an adult store and my bosses are letting me sell them!) and this was super helpful! Would you recommend the same "recipe" for pillar candles, or would you do a different ratio with the pillar wax?

    • @sherivegasartist
      @sherivegasartist  Рік тому +5

      Definitely a different ratio for pillar candle as this recipe is a bit to soft for a pillar candle.

    Hi, thanks for the video, do you have to worry about the type of glass with this type of candle or any other candle that you may make? My wife was wanting to make candles and use cute glass cups from the hobby store but was concerned about the temperature and cracking the glass. Thank you.

    Why do you wait 5 days to burn it?

    • @sherivegasartist
      @sherivegasartist  Рік тому +4

      So that way it’s fully set and all of the ingredients have time to full bind together

  • @flavadoza

    So for a beginner would you consider this recipe? What would be an average temperature for each oil and fragrance process during mixtures? How many days is recommended for your massage oil candle to sit before testing? *EXCELLENT VIDEO BY THE WAY*

    • @sherivegasartist
      @sherivegasartist  Рік тому +5

      I always leave my candles to set for a minimum of 2 to 3 days before I burn them. Yes, this is a beginner recipe but you can change it to suit you. Like if you live in a really hot area you might want to increase the amount of wax you use. So that way your candle won’t have issues with not setting.

    Awesome. I have been watching you for sometime. I do not always comment. I love candles. Still a little afraid of making them. I am in USA and not sure where to buy my goods to make them. I really would rather make mine then buy them so I know whats in it. Essential oil is very expensive and I am trying to find someone in US who does videos like you and I can find out what suppliers they use. If you know of a youtuber who is US based please let me know. I trust you and want to use your information to make them but get supplies from a US based video maker. I hope this does not offend you by my asking I would never want to do that. I adore your videos and feel a connection to you. I have never seen a massage candle it very interesting. Does it reharden if you do not use all the melted oil?? I guess that is a crazy question I just was not sure if its ok to melt and remelt massage mixture. Thank you for all your inspiration, time, and talent. hugs Sheryl from Greenwood Indiana USA 💙🎨💙

    • @sherivegasartist
      @sherivegasartist  Рік тому +1

      Yes, it does re-hardern once it has cooled down. I have seen the soap queen make some candle tutorials that might help and I believe she is in the us.

    • @sherivegasartist
      @sherivegasartist  Рік тому

      Technically yes as it is natural. Beeswax tends to be at a lot hire price point then soy wax. Also beeswax wax isn’t as soft as soy wax so it might change the field and consistency of the massage oil
