MR2 2ZZ v Megane 250 track battle

Great battle against ‎@RS_Rowe at cliosport festival. I struggled all day with the new box and open diff. I really had to change my driving style without a LSD to restrict the inside wheel lighting up. It was good fun, though, as it's much easier to slide it about.

Anglesey is a wicked circuit. Looks like you're going to have to do everyones favourite MR2 hobby once again.... another gearbox swap job! Was there any meat left on the rear tyres after that day?

Job for the winter me thinks. OSR tyre was toast by the end of the day. Incredible just how easily it lit up.

@@MRS-2ZZ So now haven driven with and without the helical locker diff, what do you think the whole "Lotus think their car perform better without the LSD" nonsense ?

Do you have lap times to compare with lsd and open diff? I am interest of the difference in lap times as i am also open diff on the same car

No direct comparison, but I'd say 2-3s a lap difference. The issue with the open diff is you really have to be patient with the throttle.
