- I wore this Peggy Carter look because it was Dapper Day-and also because I really wanted to visit Avengers Campus in it!

@@Anino_Makata unfortunately, as I understand it, Disney actually doesnt pay a whole lot more than minimum wage, because some people will jump at the opportunity to work at the Disney parks even if the pay isn't great.

I’ve seen a video of the Captain America actor at Disney, shielding a woman in her wheelchair from the sun with his shield, and that is the cutest thing I have ever seen, and this just made me think of that there’s a reason Disney is so strict with their actors

@@myrmidoni87 you were allowed to dress up as the characters, but as it could be dangerous for kids to go up to strangers who they thought were the employes in costumes, you aren't allowed to dress as a character, which resulted in the invention of Disney bounding. If there was an employee acting like Peggy, you wouldn't be able to dress up as her. Also her style is kind of normal compared to other characters

I would be nervous too, Disney has no tolerance for adults who could be mistaken for cast members. I don’t think they have Peggy carter as a cast member so that might be why nobody said anything to you. But I’m glad it worked out! What a cute interaction 🥰

I think itd be hard because Peggy isnt really too distinct to be considered a costume. These are all pieces anyone could wear normally. I think shes more nervous since its a big muscle dude that she doesnt know 😅😂
Its because she wasnt in a "costume" as disney sees it.
That outfit could be classed as a kind of DisneyBounding as its just a normal blouse and skirt, she just added bits to make it work for Peggy.
If she took off her glasses or did her hair differently it wouldnt be peggy.
Disney just dont let you wear cosplay type costumes (which i still think is ridic)
I think you shud be allowed but you just have to wear a sash that says "guest"
@@paulwilliammonks1 Disney has a very good reason for not allowing adult guests to wear costumes. Child safety. There needs to be an obvious difference between employees and other parkgoers. A sash or nametag is not enough because it could easily be removed.

as great as that would be, there’s an etiquette to asking the workers at these places to do things for you and/or with you. with your example, it would be more pressuring and rude to the person in the Cap costume. The way the woman did it in the video was perfectly respectful.

I appreciate that you asked to film before doing the whole song-and-dance routine. This guy did great, but sometimes you'll find people who are not sufficiently familiar with their character's lore, or are pretty new and not comfortable yet, etc.
Also, that is a fantastic Penny costume. Well done, and great job having enough courage to try something like this in a major public setting.
