@@invisiblescout6335 jea its just getting crazy. All for them to save money in production and QC. Its not like the rims are getting cheaper. These people are just getting greedy. But i feel like this is turning lots of people away. Seems like more and more people are waking up
I can see the tag line "I would of done better but Francis ate my sandwich". Looked a fun day out, it is a very nice bus and the Foil looks good in that colour scheme.
The tire also has only red letters at 1:15 on the lower part a TLR tire should have white TLR there as well, but the rim is hookless, and non-tubless tires arent a match for them, but then 26 also isnt good for hookless, even if it is a TLR tire, and 25mm inner width is out of the etrto pattern with a 26.
The funny thing i dont even know what tires they r using. At 1:15 it looks like there are only red letters on the lower part of the tire. That indicates Pzero Race, but it isnt tubeless. The TLR version should have a white TLR there as well, regardless, this is for the TLR version: "Note: The sizes 28-622 and wider are compatible with the air pressure of 5bar with hookless rims. The sizes 26-622 and narrower are NOT compatible with hookless rims!". Tony says: 26 written on it, even if it is a tubeless version, it isnt compatible with hookless rims. Not to mention, it has a 25 inner width, but thats only compatible for 28 and up.
@@ThomasHubik The rear tire is a Pirelli P Zero TT tire while the front I would guess is a prototype P Zero Race. Although they are tube type tires they can definitely be used as tubeless tires. as for the the compatibility between the tires and hookless rims I think it depends on the rim width. Tony made a guess but didn't really confirm what the tires width actually is. I'm sure the teams mechanic knows what to do and the riders are riding compatible tires
Rule of thumb for sizing is that if you need a stem >120mm, usually, you should size up. Of course that’s for stock fit and not taking into account a tall person with long arms but short legs, or a racer who would want a shorter wheelbase and lower stack height to get more aero and have quicker handling.
@@bebopman5 I'd expect that 130mm stem compensates for the 38cm bars to get reach in the same place. I race with a 130mm stem to get enough weight on the front wheel for cornering. I've got big legs and skinny upper body so have too much weight on the rear otherwise. A larger bike with longer wheelbase would mess up the weight distribution even more.
Calling it a conflict of interest would imply he’s actually said any “review” is impartial. Well known that Scott sponsor this channel and there’s nothing in the video that implies it’s impartial.
The only thing I suggest is don't 👄 talk about scott, I'm not implying " hush $$$" but when you're on the dole from scott, not a chance you would jeopardize the gifts and prizes. Cade , ❤️ your channel on anything but Scott releated.
No matter if it's the fastest bike in the world, it is definitely ugly and features too many proprietary parts (one-piece bar-stem, non-round seatpost with inserts). Nice for sponsored riders who get paid to ride it, have mechanics that take care of everything and are supplied with an endless stream of replacement parts. Not so nice for amateurs and hobbyists who have to pay for everything and wait months for broken parts to be available again.

Wheels without hooks should dissappear what a horrible idea. We will be laughing about it in 5years
Sram has literally filed a pattent for gluing hooks to hookless rims. Tells you all you should know

Already laughing about it.
@invisiblescout6335 if that is the case, we might as well go back to tubs
…revival of tubular 😅😎😉
Scott bike what a beauty ❤️
And here, ladies & gentlemen, we find a wild Tony Fawcett in his natural environment (other than the posh salmon sandwiches, of course).
Since 2021 scott has the most beautiful aero bikes. But the green colour changer scheme was much better looking

Cool video guys in top sunny UK, weather 😅!! That Q36.5 apparel is quality stuff, their winter alpha polartec jacket is 1st class 👍
Full bus tours are needed…
3:06 He says tubeless setup but isn't that a regular tube valve sticking out?
Yeah, I don't see a lockring.

You can run tubes in hookless wheels as long as you still run a TLR tire, i've done it, it works just fine.
To Scott Bikes… I absolutely love the new Foil but can you please deliver some more interesting colour ways?!?
Already saw 2024 colors. You will love it!
The dowt daft takeover edition 😂
what is "hollywood tarmac"??
Tony does not yet get Sram chainrings
Nowt daft!!
Too bad he can't use the new Syncros Capital 1.0SL wheelset. He's sponsored by SRAM so has to use the ZIP wheels.

Isn't there a UCI rule that all parts on bikes must be available for public to buy?
This frame win something or not?
Canny bike that, def a swipe right.

hookless with Pirelli receipe for disaster no?
No.... the pinarello dogma..... which is ironic as thats what Q36.5 will be riding next season... apparently...
Scott please make your bikes smaller
CADE ? Conflict of interest 👌. Scott , did they pay you or i believe gave you a bike 🏍. Chow 🎉 stick to topics that don't Conflict. Thanks
How is that a conflict of interest? CADE is not a journalism outlet.

Gap between frontwheel and downtube is too large. Sloppy aero design.

Lol @ the wavy wheels being for aero
that's why aeroplanes are all wavy, don't you know?
It's for stability in crosswinds and gusts, and was copied from nature.
