micro 99 is twice as strong, same speed, same voltage, only weighs a gram heavier is slightly taller, and costs $5 more. Get the 99, it's better bang for your buck. A weak shift servo can cause a partial shift, especially as it gets dirty and ages. A partial shift can cause gear grinding and damage. Trust me you want a decent bit of power for your shifters.
Yeah I'm sorry but that is a complete waste of money. So tired of the companies like NSDRC & REEFS overcharging for their servos. I have the REEFS99, NSDRC RS100, & INJORA 7KG. Want to know the difference you can see? None. Save your money & get the INJORA 7kg. It's literally a quarter of the price of these companies & it's reliable as well.
Been running an injora 7kg servo in my ryft for the 2 speed trans and the 35kg brushless for steering for over a year. Not a direct fitting shift servo but not much trimming to get it to work. I have never installed a servo saver on the 35kg and it still works like new. I have absolutely no complaints about either and every servo I need to replace in the future will be an injora. Can't beat the price.
Thank you very much. Don't mind spending money where needed, but when you can still get quality. Built two trx4 recently new to crawling and I just love the trx4!❤
@@wxdad6256 yeah, man, these things are all mass produced & at a certain point, you're just paying for the brand name. No different than clothing brands. INJORA offers a lot to the market at a super affordable price with pretty great quality.
About time Reefs addressed the TRX. Nice 👍🏾 I can finally get rid of those Injora servos.
End points are important.my original traxxas defender is still on the stock servos at 8.4 volts for the two speed and lockers.
thank you for showing this servo the need for a quality option has been long overdue,
Maaaan that trx4 was pulling some nice lines!!!
I was surprised myself
My trx4 high trail heard this. Now it wants more upgrades!!!
If only fms used a regular servo connection these would be perfect
Would this be an easy upgrade for a Ryft shift servo or would it require a lot of work to make it be usable?
So I know when you showed the back of the box it showed they were waterproof, but are they “submersible” like the raw 100?
I'm sure they are fine under water
I ordered a pair of 99 micros for the scx10.3 yesterday. They might be overkill for shift servos.
nah they're good

$55.00 seems heavy
52 bucks for a micro servo 😂😂
