I'm looking at booking a trip down that way soon from BKK. Would you recommend flying or taking the minivan all the way from BKK?

We flew back because the times where easy. We took the bus there because the arrival times at Trat airport from Bangkok are not ideal to catch an easy ferry.

It's not worth it to fly between Trat and BKK. The difference is probably less than 2 hours.

Why did you fly back to Bangkok from Trat? After waiting to board then waiting to pick up luggage in BKK, taxi back to Sukhumvit. Did you save any time?

I have no experience to ride a scooter so
How does one get around Koh Kood... to visit other beaches, waterfalls etc.
Can you hire a scooter and driver or some type of transportation around the island. 🦋
