This is one of my wife's favorite game. We play this game at least twice a week, it's fast to setup and easy to play, all while being challenging. We're really curious to play other Tetrislike games, like Barenpark, New York Zoo, Paris City of Lumiere...
The other day I played Patchwork again for the first time in several years and remembered what a brilliant little design it is! And for people who want something more than just a quilt theme, there have been a few holiday-themed editions of the game released for Christmas, Halloween, and Valentine's Day.
well, if you're more into gardening than quilting you might try 'cottage garden' from the same author with a similar rule set. anyway playing both games is a rather relaxing than thrilling experience with low/ no social interaction.😵💫
It’s fun the first dozen games but we haven’t played patchwork in years. I gave it as a birthday present to my mother in law but sadly she had nobody to play with.
Now that I think about it, that might have been part of it for me too. I do like abstract games even if I have to focus a lot more but I am not a big fan of so much negative scoring.

Hmm, I don’t think this one is for me, but it’s definitely unique. Great video Ali!

This is one of my favorite two player games. Whoever gets 7x7 first wins, and that's always me!
I like spacial games but am not fan of games that I usually score negative, so I avoid Patchwork.
