    You are very intricate on the way you overhaul your Cricket. I enjoy your videos very helpful if I ever need to disassemble mine. These are very accurate shooting pellet rifles straight out of the box with no mods, I can imagine these little things you do make a great rifle slightly better. I will also now polish a few things on mine as we'll. good day my friend and keep up the great videos.

    Hi! What do you think about the .177cal B1 Air RIfle? I'm looking for a cheap air rifle so is it worth the money?

    I notice you have a cross on your gun. Can you do a short video of how you made it or got it to stay there?

      Shawna Easterly Hi, just used the necklace of one of the kids. It is from some kind of black glass I think. Glue it with Loctite Super Glue Ultra Gel. Regards.

    Was there any difference in v0 by making the transfer port hole and the barrel hole equal? How did you obtain that cylindrical piece? What kind of a pen was used?
    What is your regulated air pressure and what v0 can you obtain? I see that you mentioned 95 bars. Is it enough? I have my regulator set at around 120 bars and my max v0 is in 880ish. Do you know why?
    How many bars per shot are utilized in your gun?

    • @FreeManShooting
      @FreeManShooting  9 років тому +1

      MasonStormSunny I can't say that I see a significant difference, but I know there should be flawless airflow.
      I can't remember the type of the pen - just find something that is with the same dimensions.
      I am shooting with 95-100 bars, but I am shooting with methan. It is enough. I have 277m/s with 1.175 grams, 45 joules.
      From 200 bars to 100 bars I have about 60 shots.

    • @MasonStormSunny
      @MasonStormSunny 9 років тому

      Methan is explosive, isn't it? Do you think this gas is more effective than the air in achieving higher v0?

    • @FreeManShooting
      @FreeManShooting  9 років тому +1

      MasonStormSunny Yes it is, but when there is fire. The small portions of metan are not a problem, but do not try to shoot in fire.
      Methane is more dynamic gaz and is giving about 20% more than the compressed air.
      The minuses are - temperature dependance, influencing some rubber o-rings, no more than 200 bars.

    hi i know you havent done the video yet but since watching i looked at my crown and ts not perfect either, when you got it re dne did you get it done to an 11 degree crown? also what is the name of what you use to lube the valve pin hammer spring and hammer? if you can let me know i would really appreciate it many thanks matt.

    • @FreeManShooting
      @FreeManShooting  9 років тому +2

      matt white I was planing to do 11 degree, but the barrel should finish as it is originally because of the silencer, so I redid as it was the same angle and shape, just toke the bad finish out.
      I am lubing with silicone oil, just very gently.
      Regards.

    Also is there any way I could change the way the gun looks? Like add a camo to it?

    • @FreeManShooting
      @FreeManShooting  9 років тому

      FreeGame Nation there are many solutions for camo.
      The easiest for me is Camouflage Gun Gear Self Cling Stretch Wrap like this one www.ebay.com/itm/McNett-Camo-Form-Camouflage-Gun-Gear-Self-Cling-Stretch-Wrap-Various-Patterns-/360482889687
      But the best is hydrographics - see this video ua-cam.com/video/wj6W7NQWPQo/v-deo.html
      On the net is a lot info...

    hi there pal, i am eager to see the next video re the barrel crown as i cannot find any info on it other than the identification of the problem, which is no use at all. If you are nowhere near ready with the video i would very much appreciate if you could drop me an email at matt_white18@hotmail.com with as much info as possible on how to clean it up if you had it re done on a lathe or you just had it re lapped. i can understand life gets busy with work etc and you may not get as much time as u would like to just edit a video for our informative pleasure, so i am sorry to be a pain. If you could it would be very very appreciated, many thanks matt
