This movie’s CGI is really poor but the tiger looks mid and the jackal has too many facial expressions similar to humans and that’s why the jackals the ugliest CGI creature to ever exist
I agree. The 2016 Jungle Book did a much better job with its CGI where the animals were still somewhat anthropomorphic and showed facial expressions, but still looked like actual animals.
Also, earlier Sher Khan had mowgli at his mercy, and the snake saved him. He never had a chance in the movie at winning so there was never any suspense

Again, something other movie & TV versions of the Jungle Book choose not to incorporate
