Went to CMC in Steamboat back in the early 90's and a bunch of us would go up there all the time. Great place. We also camped a lot and did some backcountry skiing in the early fall up near Fish Creek Reservoir.
We have a wrangler 4x4 with capable off road tires. Going in November which I’ve read it’s not as snowy. Would we be okay driving up or are snow tires/chains a must?
Just popped over from your caveman channel. Love them both! We were in Pagosa springs some 10 yrs ago and then Durango. Some day we'll make it further north as we now also have new friends in Aspen (met during a wedding on the east coast recently).
