Another great video, Attilio. This one is near and dear to my heart. I’ve had a life long interest in photography, and our trip to Yellowstone last summer pushed me to get a DSLR and as a result I have discovered a passion. YES! The process, including discovery and exploring is just as important as the final photograph. BTW, love your take on Grand Prismatic Spring. Magnificent, isn’t it?
Thanks a enjoyable and useful video. Sometimes it's good to know that finding the "perfect " composition, taking the ultimate "photo" is not always the end result. Attilio, if I could give your photos not just one thumbs up but a thousand thumbs up and one, I'd do that. You're such an inspiration, a walking talent, and a well-versed instructor.
I loved this video. I visited Yellowstone for the first time about 10 years ago. The park truly changed my perspective of nature. Now, after watching you photograph some of the most beautiful places in the park, I want to go back and revisit them, this time with the knowledge and equipment to capture some of that beauty. I also agree with your assessment of the Shimoda 40L. It’s a game changer.
Excellent. I liked that you didn’t just go for the “good” weather shots, but you also showed what can be done in harsh lighting. As a novice “landscaper” getting interesting photos in bad light is a unique challenge.
Enjoyed your quest, your attitude, your pictures. Great Video. I have been to Yellowstone over a dozen times and it is still my favorite Park of them all. Lots of memories, And with your help, the next time, I will have a different point of view. Thanks for the Long exposure tips.
Artist Point is a great destination for early morning ( maybe around 8:30-9:30 ). As the sun hits the waterfall at this angle, you can often get a nice rainbow in the mist.
"You slowly seem to.... float away" is exactly what happened Attilio but it had nothing to do with getting bored. Your video's have a nice balance between dreamy music, beautiful landscapes and your calmness which is the perfect medicin to "float away" for a couple of minutes. As a beginning photographer, it's people like you who inspire me to go into nature. Where I live, it's flat and we don't have nature like that, but I try to make the best of it. Thanks again for sharing!

Very nice video, Attilio. Good tips on locations, lenses and mostly filters that you used. Yellowstone and Grand Tetons are the two parks that are next on my agenda. Keep them coming!
I went to Yosemite and it was overcast and rainy. I was frustrated until I remembered what Ansel Adams said, “If you don’t go out in the storm you will never be their when the storm breaks.” That was the most enjoyable day of photography I’ve ever had. The National Parks can give your camera wings. They are so beautiful.
Have the Haida M10 myself and never thought of tuning in the CPL before you putting it in the M10! Love how you handle dull mid day-light into magic long exposer shots.
Great Video Attilio! I loved the ending as I feel the same way. Sometimes I don’t get the image I am hoping for, but the experience, memory, hunt, the wanting to see something I’ve never seen before is really what I am after. Capturing the moment can go either way depending on weather or time of day. As long as I have the memory I am perfectly content. Thanks again Attilio for your amazing videos!

I’ll do my best to join you.
I like the video very much ! ! I always learn more about iso, shutter, speed, aperture, lenses and filters from your teachingi along the way ! A big thank you !!!!!!!!!!
For me Landscape photography is to slow down in a very hectic world we are living in. Taking a picture is not just capturing the spot but more to capture the moment with all its impressions like smelling rotton trees or fresh grass or to feel the moisture after a rain shower or looking to a sun ray behind the clouds to appear, etc. etc. If I do look again to my pictures I am instantly back to this moment which gives me a great releave! Cheers, Folks and enjoy. :-)
Attilio thanks for the great video. I was just in Yellowstone two weeks prior to you. But I only had one day there and it deserves so much more. I also spent time at the Grand Tetons a few days prior to that. Incredible locations there. And then I ended my trip in California with visits to the Sierra Nevada mountains: Redwoods Natl. Park, Mt. Shasta, Mt. Lassen, Yosemite, Kings Canyon, Death Valley and so much more. But I discovered that its really difficult to plan such a trip and hit all the great places at the right time while the light is good. I think next time I will limit my trip to just one or two great locations and spend a week at each one. Give myself enough time to let myself feel the land and sky and try to understand what its saying, rather than running around like a idiot to 35 different locations in just a few weeks. In any event keep up the videos. I really enjoy them. And I enjoy your sense of humor too. We would probably like each other immensely.

Beautiful video. It makes me want to get out to Yellowstone, but it probably won’t be this year. I agree with you that getting out and exploring, hiking and finding the compositions and experiencing the landscape physically is what landscape photography is all about. I think it was the same with my grandfather when he went out with his water colours and created the most amazing seascapes on the south Devon coast in southwest England.
Attilio, you have a way of taking the beauty of nature and making it even more amazing! Your use of light and time is phenomenal. As I watch your videos I try to think about how can apply those techniques to the landscapes around me. Please keep these videos coming.
I will finally be going to Yellowstone this Sept 2024. I spent hundreds of trips to Yosemite over 50 years and studied photography under Ansel Adams there. Primarily interested in landscape.
Those are the best photography videos on youtube! So inspiring and you can really feel the spirit of the nature ... thank you. But I wish that you'd show us the final pictures a little bit longer. Hi Attilio. Your vid brings back memories for me. 6 years or so ago, my job sent me to montana 6 times, and i really knew nothing about photography, i didn't even know enough to shoot in raw. Nevertheless , I started shooting many photos with a canon xsi, and putting them up on facebook. i was lucky enough to travel through yellowstone a few times,, and although i knew nothing, the majesty of the place attracted many positive comments on facebook. this inspired me to learn more, about photography, art, and post processing. i'm still grateful for those trips, which caused me to embark on this journey of photography.
This is a stunning video Attilio. The scenery is spectacular and Yellowstone must be on every photographers bucket list. Tomorrow morning i'm going to photograph the UK's first National Park - The Peak District - sunrise 04:40hrs 🤔. Loved all your photographs and your B&W processing is awesome 👌
Awesome as always Attilio. Inspired by you I am going to spend one week just to take pictures of the Cervino. Let's see if I can gather similar experiences like you show us in your videos

Hi Attillio! Congratulations! First, your photos, videos and time lapse are wonderful....Second, you are really a good teacher. I would like to ask you when you use a big stopper and 0.3 ND grad. soft together how do you consider the time of exposure? Just for the big stopper or for both? I meant add extra time? José Luiz Greetings from Brazil.
Very much enjoyed the long exposure images featuring falling water. Do you do anything in post processing to try to get more detail in that part of the frame, or are you happy with the effect you get at any given shutter speed?
Thank-you so much for these beautiful videos, the back round music is awesome, but I had an equipment question. I am leaving for Yellowstone in a couple of weeks and i just wanted to know what filter system you use. I like the way the rig just snaps, more or less, onto the lens. Also, do you have any instructional videos on photographing the Milky Way and other astrophotography settings? I figure Yellowstone would be the perfect place for that. I have the Nikon d850 and I've only scratched the surface of what that camera can do. Thanks so much, again, for the fantastic videos you share and the education that comes with them!

👍
Very beautiful photographs, cant wait to take a trip to Yellowstone. Any advice?
You very good job 👍 I love 💕 pictures for you !

thanks and have fun!
Thanks a lot Andy!
Hey, great captures. Like them all. You always do a great job.

Awesome as always Attilio. Inspired by you I am going to spend one week just to take pictures of the Cervino. Let's see if I can gather similar experiences like you show us in your videos
You will have beautiful scenery there too! Have fun!
Really Perfect pictures. I like to Heart you explaining them. I stopped the Video at each picture to have a long look to the picture and the camera settings. I like the work you are doing with filters. For sure like i see it is Not enough to use filters in kightroom. So, Go on i am waiting for the next video. Hope you enjoy the to stay in yellowstone. Regard from Germany. 👍
thanks a lot, I appreciate your feedback mate!
As always beautiful images. Thanks !!!
Thank you
The picture at Yellowstone River is fantastic. ( the first) nice places . May be june is not the best periodo to take picture with the good light but is wonderful to visit the Park. Giusto Attikio?
Grazie Carlo, si e' un ottimo periodo per fare hike e visitare ma fotograficamente, probabilmente meglio l'autunno o la primavera... :-)
Fantastic vlog mate, inspired me to visit from London, England!! Great shots and even better advice! Thank you..!! Jase 👍
Thank you mate!!!
Beautiful photos Attilio, thanks for sharing!
Thank you 🙏
Spectacular Attilio! As usual!
Thanks Steve!
In the southeast part of Wyoming is a very photographic area called Snowy Range. I have done a lot of 4x5 photography in that spot. Very accessible and not many people. I am enjoying your videos.
Thanks Jeff!
José Luiz
Greetings from Brazil.
Thanks Jose, yes depending on the position of the gnd, I might add extra time...
Very much enjoyed the long exposure images featuring falling water. Do you do anything in post processing to try to get more detail in that part of the frame, or are you happy with the effect you get at any given shutter speed?
Thanks Jeff, I did use texture and clarity in LR...
Thanks! I use both Lee Filters (amzn.to/2SmFavr) and Haida (amzn.to/2O1Jlyj).... I don’t have any tutorial about shooting the Milky Way yet...
Great video...Beautiful photos... Tnx
thank you Yossi!
